  1. You get white chocolate. I'm sorry. I know it's terrible. #milkchocolateisbestchocolate *inserts milk chocolate*
  2. He who saw everything in the broad-boned earth, and knew what was to be known Who had experienced what there was, and had become familiar with all things He, to whom wisdom clung like a cloak, and who dwelt together with the Existence of Harmony He who knew the secret of things and laid them bare. And then the murders began. - Not the translation I'm familiar with, but hey: Gilgamesh.
  3. Like Eshonai. Her PoV makes it clear that she is SUPER NOT OKAY with storm form; there definitely seems to be some kind of mind control/suggestion/something going on with storm form, the same way there was with the Inquisitors in Mistborn. So yeah, I'm sure this will be brought up in universe as an option at some point, but again, the answer is No.
  4. 'kay, I'm just gonna throw this out to you guys: I've heard some comparisons between Iron Fist and Arrow. Are those comparisons warranted/fair?
  5. You are THE QUEEN IN THE NORTH, and also Best Stark.
  6. Y'know, I can't help but wonder how adding "And then the murders began" to the LAST sentence of a book would look.
  7. I guess, and that IS a fair alternative... but I guess after seeing Miles Teller try to pull the "It's for the fans" defence with Fant4stic Four, I'm a little wary when I see that bandied about.
  8. Eh, I was mostly snakring. Though I do think that Cheetah hybrid is kind of awesome
  9. Honestly, the worst part of the Iron Fist story right now is the way they keep trying to dflect criticism. "We made this for the fans!" "People don't like it because Danny is a Rich White guy!" Guys. Guys. We haven't even seen the series. When you get out in front of the wagon to defend your film this hard against critics, it's not really a good sign...
  10. Yeah, it can be... annoying. I'm so glad I wasn't working it last year, since they meant having to do an extra hour of wo- @Sunbird Those are amazing, and I might just steal one or two of them that cool with you kay thanks.
  11. See, I thought that was what you meant. But St Patrick's day is on the 17th. (I know that because I'm working that night shift. What joy that shall be!)
  12. I can do it if ou prefer! Honestly, I was sort of worried about interrupting things going on with her, or in case you had stuff in mind. But, sure; if ya don't mind, I can go ahead and edit Lyla trying to get into her office, if that helps. ... I should really post in Salem again... sorry...
  13. In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. And then the murders began.
  14. How else would shenanigans ensue? But...cool. Should I edit my post to include her approaching Autumn then?
  15. And... I edited my last post, since I kind of killed the Dalles. @TwiLyghtSansSparkles as the Dalles resident moral compass, mind if I have Lyla bother Autumn for some cross-country supplies? I had that in my post, but figured I should get approval before having her actually march up to Autumn with a list of demands.
  16. Yeah, historically, Deadpool has been more... X-Men adjacent, than X-Man proper. He first appeared as a Deathstroke knock-off villainous character for one of the X-teams, and he's had a bit more exposure since then. He has direct links to certain X-Men characters - Wolverine and Cable most especially- but it's only really been in the past decade or so where he's actually had a role on any X-teams... and even that was on X Force, rather than a "mainstream" X-Men line-up. Not for lack of effort, though. He's tried joining a few times. He even had an outfit for it. He wore Marvel Girl's old uniform.
  17. Ooh, glad to hear that. I'm planning on going to see it tomorrow night, so good to hear that the Monsterverse is off to a better start than the DCEU.
  18. 'kay, kind of a complaint I have. I currently have 14 holiday days. I work 4 days a week, so taking that many off nets me 12 days off. So, naturally, if I'm going to book holidays, it's only really "worth" it to book a week off. Our tax year ends at the end of June, and my job has said they *might* let us carry over five holidays. Or maybe three holidays. Or maybe none. They've been kind of vague on it. I cannot spend my holidays within that time frame. I held off booking holidays because first off all I didn't know how many I had - I had to hound them for weeks to get a number, and it's out of date - and because I wanted to get a set rota, because the last time I booked holidays, I ended up taking my holidays on the only days I was off for that week. So I ended up working every other day that week, when I wanted time off. Problem: everyone else is now spending our holidays, too, so I am finding it hard to actually GET my holidays in and approved. It's... annoying. Honestly, I'm tempted to just start booking holidays for July, August, etc; putting in holidays for the next tax year, because they haven't said anything about [inot[/I] being allowed to do that. (Plus, apparently the bosses keep praising me for stuff. So I'm hoping I am enough clout to be able to do that. Just worried that seems... underhanded?)
  19. Which is why Coulson has already offered Jessica Jones a steady job as an inestigator for Shield, right? Eh, the Inhumans have had a weird road. They were going to have a feature film, so SHIELD... kind of introduced some of the concepts (there is a thing called Terregensis which can turn people into Inhumans if they have alien DNA), but they weren't able to use any of the major characters (Black Bolt, Medusa, Crystal, Lockjaw, Maximus) because those guys were being saved for the movie. (That's why season 2 was set in an isolated Inhuman community, and why the Inhumans it featured were either relatively minor characters like Daisy or original characters, like Jiyang or Lincoln.) So.. there probably won't be much carry over from the stuff Agents set up.
  20. Yup. Remember all the Inhumans stuff set up in Agents of Shield? Like that. Except almost none of the Agents of Shield stuff will probably end up actually effecting the show, so, ya'know. There's two seasons of world building that coulda been used elsewhere
  21. I guess you could say they 'Raysed' a murderer. ... Snark is the only thing I have to contribute to this conversation, carry on.
  22. Sweet Celestia am I tired. 12 hour shift is not fun. 12 hours which are so busy that I get -maybe and at most- a 30 minute break for the entire night? I'm gonna go sleep, and pray tonight's shift goes easier.
  23. For whatever it's worth... I haven't had that problem since I posted this thread. If only all of life's problems could be solved that way Thanks to everyone anyway though!
  24. You get a sphinx. Curiously, it is missing a nose. Insert a giant rose.
  25. Aww! You guys spoiled the surprise I figured if Penny wanted deaths as spoilers, at least she could have the fake outs as a cathartic twist (Also because it seemed mean to say someone didn't die, in case she got to that point where they APPEARED to have done, and wondered why she wasn't warned. So... yeah.)
