I hope it is Szeth. I'd like to read his POV again before he fights Kaladin. Still, I could be someone else. I doubt it is Mr. T. I think he regrets all the people he has killed, but I don't think he would allow those deaths to torment him this way.

You know this could be from a Shallan flasback chapter. That family is twisted.

If this is the case, that honorspren did not exist before honor was splintered, and Windrunners received their powers from honorspren, then were there windrunners before Honor died?

No, they have never spoken. Also, Kaladin has no talent with the sword, therefore Renarin has no reason to ask him for help. Renarin has been the focus of two, if not three, of these glimpses now. I wonder why.

Would Kaladin think to ask Renarin for help in this way? He barely trusts Dalinar.

I'm guessing this is Shardblade practice. However, I hope in context it isn't that mundane.

Taking a page from Warbreaker eh? I doubt this will happen. Too much is going on in Roshar to add a "how is Adolin going to deal with his handicap" subplot. It would be interesting though.

Awesome, Moogle, except Dalinar is clearly alive after the event happens that knocks out/kills his son.

Here is Glimpse 11 again. So much information and yet so little in just one sentence. There has been a lot of discussion about this Glimpse, so I thought a pole of public opinion on it would be fun. Which son shall lay in Dalinar's arms? What happened to him? And what is his fate? What do you think?
-
This Glimpse was so effective. I hope all of the Glimpses that follow are as good or better. As much as I enjoyed this Glimpse, I hope the promotion did not peak here. Try not to read too much into it guys. It is out of context after all.

Chapter 15 "The Decoy" Page 229 Dalinar's second chapter in WoR also speaks of Sadeas talent. I hope he doesn't kill Adolin, however. Besides that being too simple a death for Adolin, I think Dueling Adolin would socially be beneath Sadeas. I'm sure we will get to see his swordmanship at some point, but in some other way.

Maybe this has been covered before, and if so feel free to share the link. On my most resent reread of TWoKs I noticed this passage. Prologue : "To Kill" pg 24. The "he" referred to in the passage is Szeth. He is comparing how his body holds stormlight with Voidbringers ability. Bold text added by me. That is an interesting dichotomy. It could be read as though he is being punished by his people and religion for not letting go of a belief in the existence of the Voidbringers. Reguardless, his punishment demands that they do not exist. All right, so then what will happen when Szeth learns for certain that they do exist? Will he let go of his punishment because it is wrong? If he learns the truth before finishing his mission, maybe he won't kill Dalinar then?
-
She who shall not be named in Dalinar's POV. Seriously though, I don't think we will learn very much about her until Dalinar's book.
-
I think Sadeas's true illness is "losing relevance to the overall plot" syndrome. If he were an engaging enemy he could last all five books. But who knows, he might improve in the later chapters of WoR. I agree, Amaram may want to try and become Highprince.
-
I disagree. Edit: sorry for the double post.

Excellent idea. I was thinking we should periodically post a complete listing of the glimpses, but that link is so much easier.

I think this is the scene. It's an attack by an assassin or a chasmfiend. Kaladin is on break so Moash or Skar is guarding Dalinar and sons. Lots of people are dying, so Renarin opens up a can of kick butt Skybreaker surges and then faints like Kaladin did. That scene would be so awesome and scary at the same time. If this is what happens, I just hope Renarin survives and the members of Bridge 4 know how to help him. I doubt Kaladin will be there, because he would use his powers before Renarin had a chance.

I doubt it. Reshone was too badly injured to do much traveling and Laral wouldn't travel without him. However, I have wondered of Hesina and Lirin might have ended up following Amaram's army. It is doubtful, but that is a more likely reunion the Laral. I think Laral will remain a sad memory for Kaladin and nothing more.

This is my favorite glimpse so far. It tells us so much and yet nothing at all. Tor and Peter chose wisely.

This is likely. Remember when Kaladin used too much stormlight? I'm sure the next sentence is a member of Bridge 4 running up with some spheres. I hope so anyway. I rather have at least one knight from each order live through the first few books.

It is still several days before the release of Words of Radiance. A person comes to your door and shows you a copy of the book. They will allow you to look through it for only three hours. You might be a speed reader, but you can't read 1088 pages in three hours. Would you accept the three hour preview?

Please, please, get Stone's Unhallowed soon. Two years is too long. Maybe a bluetooth mental hook up to beam all eight remaining books directly into our brains. Yeah, that doesn't sound crazy or obsessed at all.
