  1. I can understand how some might have been blindsided by the Denth/Tonk Fah betrayal, it was heavily foreshadowed. I do not see the same in the case of Marsh. I am not saying he definitely is not going to betray him for one reason or another, but I do believe it has to be a damned good one for him to want to go against Kaladin at this point. For despite his initial scepticism towards Kal, Marsh has grown to become very respectful and very loyal towards him. Also, I just do not want him to. I like Moash. And because of that, Brandon wouldn't DARE to do that.
  2. Atium? No, it has been confirmed (annotations) that she couldn't provide Elend with Atium (or at least would not make the sacrifices necessary to do so) when he was fighting Marsh, so I assume this would be the case for Vin drawing upon the Mists while fighting tLR as well. And although the Aluminum question proposes some hilariousness, I don't think it would have done anything, as she wasn't technically burning any metals.
  3. I assume you meant to say euphoria, correct?
  4. I believe that one has already been asked and was RAFO'ed. He has confirmed that Spren can be killed, though.
  5. I am curious as to how you are able to specifically disregard information from the books. Shallan specifically states that most Soulcasters only have very limited and specific usages. While this might yet prove not to be entirely correct, you fail to provide any evidence to suggest so. In addition Soulcasting seems to have nothing to do with healing, as its nature is changing one specific thing to another, not healing or mending only a part of something. Soulcasting is based upon the shared Surge of the Elsecaller and Lightweaver Orders, and there is another surge for specifically meant for healing. While the "Starfalls" chapter shows that there are (/were) fabrials that could heal, I sincerely doubt that the Soulcasting fabrials can be used as such. EDIT: And as a friendly reminder, you should refrain from double-posting, as it is against the rules of the forum. Use the edit function instead.
  6. I am sorry to say that no, I am not aware of any such organized list.
  7. Wow, this really did get sombre really fast. So quickly! Toss Szeth the ball!
  8. Brilliant! Just plain brilliance! I'd use some of them to get back at my ex, though.
  9. I somehow remember this number by heart: 2'653 Do check it. It's the correct amount ^^.
  10. I'll pop in later with a longer answer, but I wanted to answer the most important one right away: They eat gem-hearts, obviously.
  11. Elhokar?
  12. Welcome to the forum! May you have many crazy ideas as you slowly slide down into madness along with the rest of us!
  13. Gratulerer med dagen, Brandon!
  14. I fail to see the logic of this phrase. How do you extrapolate surgical capacity from a fabrial designed to make food? Also, it should be noted that Jasnah's fabrial Her own talent and knowledge should be the only limiting factor. EDIT: Minor grammar.
  15. It is an interesting hypothesis you present, but if it is true that you can worldhop by creating a link between the Shards, then I do not think this is the only way to worldhop. There is evidence to suggest that it is possible to travel to shardless worlds. EDIT: I forgot to mention that we know that worldhoppers (at least most of them, including Hoid) use Shadesmar to travel between the worlds. I am not sure this would fit with the "forging/creating a link between the Shards" idea.
  16. Welcome to the 17th Shard! Nice to see you haven't (yet) been discouraged or scared away by our rambling theorizing.
  17. Welcome to the 17th Shard! And do not worry, you are far from the only one delurked by the Shardhunt. And there is no need to understand everything to join in a discussion. I'd recommend you to post any random hypothesis or thought you might get, for you might easily have seen something we've missed. And if not, well then you'll learn quicker, for most of us are rather thorough in our answers and citations.
  18. Want me to cite the Ferrings too? ^^
  19. Spoilers for WoR:
  20. Couldn't agree with you more, though I'd like to name the Emperor's Soul his best written word, period. The prose is just on a higher level than even the Way of Kings (though not by far). The latter, however, is by far his best work if you add in the world-building and character development.
  21. There are some funky business with it, sure. But whether or not this is just a freak property of Rosharan Highstorm-created sediments or tinkering by Cultivation remains to be seen. While we both lean towards the second one, I don't think we can claim that it is a certainty at this point.
  22. Oh, I assure you, most men knows how to handle their swords.
  23. While it does fit, I personally believe there is enough evidence to suggest the visions are a rather new thing and would have appeared sometime after the first exploration of the Shattered Plains along with the return of Nahel Spren and the appearance of the Death Chants. And even if they have been around for a while, and even if only a selected few get them at a time, I have difficulties believing that it would go unnoticed for possibly millennia that people were having the exact same visions during Highstorm-related seizures.
