Actually, my initial reasoning for Aspren is mostly defunct, now. If anyone else has ideas, I'm fine with going there.

Hello all! I'm just wondering, how do you intend on reading Words of Radiance the first time through? I find that I'm in an interesting position, namely due to the timing of the signing that I'm able to attend. It's on Thursday, a mere two days after it comes out. Now, this is quite possibly the worst timing for it, because it tempts me to read it before hand (so I can ask questions about it), though I will probably have to skim through it in order to finish on time. So, I'm trying to figure out what I need to cut out in order to get a detailed enough read for my questions to be deep and cosmere relevant. The biggest thing that comes to me is the Interludes, but I really really don't want to miss those, mainly because those are the best things when it comes to exploring Roshar. Thoughts?

Woot! So much goods, especially after thinking that it would not be there after all. I swear, this is the element (ha ha) of WoR that inspires the most excitement from me.

This is much, much better than an AoL version. First off, that will be explored more, in books. This will not. He's already said that he won't spend time working on past Scadrial stories, so this is soooo great.

Yeah. This is great and all, but there are easier ways to do something like this. You could use water, which I like, or you could use air or even heat. Jump into a furnace and start storing both, and then you get instant profit. (Plus, you could use the investiture to fHeal yourself, just in case you burn a little bit.)

Yeah, I thought the spoilered thing was kind of out of left field, but then the narrative gets ridiculously better. While the Trost arc was mediocre, then next one is nothing short of superb. Eren (thankfully) becomes a better protagonist. I say, give it another try. To me, it's a lot like the Walking Dead, only with steampunk. Then again, if you can't get into that sort of thing, then I agree it's not worth watching.

Child, just one question: A long while back, Brandon said that the epilogue to WoR should have familiar magics (not from Roshar). Is this still true?
