  1. What Peter said. Khriss is the female protagonist of White Sand.
  2. The regrowth fabrial must do more than cure Shardblade wounds, or Szeth would still be dead. He fell through the everstorm on his way to the ground, yet when he wakes, he feels fine.
  3. I believe that Khriss was in the original draft of White Sand (from Writing Excuses, so no spoiler). Also, she's still in there, the female protagonist. If this is bad, then please take it down or tell me.
  4. Hey, I was important! Yeah, I say that Clan would be a good person to seek.
  5. Uh, why do I have downvotes for two of my above statements? I've conceded to your argument and was nothing but respectful about it.
  6. Wait... Wut? This has been our best game ever.
  7. Asp, you need to tell us, not Gamon. For all we know, this is an elaborate scheme involving him being Spiked. For instance, if he is Spiked, and somehow hid it from you, then he could give us two innocents, which could very well mess up.
  8. Indeed. That thing is not what you think it is. Or rather, it is a distant cousin, christened Rainbowflowerlife, a sword created to make everyone more peaceful and happy, "destroying evil" in it's own way.
  9. Asp, relying on Gamma really is not in your favor. After all, after we kill you, and you're right, he's next on the list almost no matter what, now. If you're wrong, then we can't regard what you're saying, because it's bull crap. Tell us outright, or try and pull up some convincing argument that shows how killing you does more harm than good, and we'll talk. (Categorically more harm than good. Right now, killing you leads us down a path of statistical success, right or wrong, if only because you have placed yourself in a position where we have to be right about one of you. Thanks for that, by the way.) Also, by saying that you're a Seeker, you've rendered yourself useless to us. If you're legit, than the Spiked have no choice but to kill you. This is your last round, like it or not.
  10. I'm only sad because I think Shallan is great for both Adolin and Kaladin, and I hate love triangles for the sake of love triangles. (Though, to be honest, she does seem perfect for Kaladin).
  11. Aspren, who have you Seeked? Tell us. Not telling helps no one.
  12. Gamon, that's great and all, and I'll vote Asp, but if you're wrong, then you need to tell everyone who told you. That way, we can lynch the two of you!
  13. Nightblood won't need explanation. WoB says that it actually is a Shardblade, just really powerful. And since we know that Shardblades talk, it doesn't seem like a stretch to me. (Also, Brandon will use the "inaccurate viewpoint trick. I mean, what does Szeth know?)
  14. I get what you're saying. If you would tell me how to change the title, than I will. @Releaser: If you gave a normal man a Shardblade, then he would have a magical, super light sword that cuts through inanimate objects like butter and cuts through souls. If you gave that man an Honorblade, than he would have the powers of a Radiant, depending on which Blade he received, as well as the same ability to slice.
  15. Well, Ashyn is barren now. Maybe the magma is what forced the people off. (From Silence Divine reading).
  16. That's not a spoiler. It's a theory. Now, if I passed that off as fact, or said that Nightblood is a Shardblade (which still really isn't a spoiler, considering how we only have the word of one man who's sanity and reliability is in question), then yes, it would be a spoiler. Unless you're talking about how I'm warning there will be spoilers inside of the post. Then, don't read the top part. Doesn't matter. (I still disagree, but I definitely see what you're saying).
  17. Thanks for that. I laughed.
  18. Alright guys. Vin and Wax shipping. Mostly because it's a Win. Or, if you want to, Vin and Spook, to take it for a Spin. However, I would have to say that Vin and Susebron would be a Sin. (I am sooo sorry)
  19. Alright guys, I went to the signing and have a good three and a half hours of audio. If anyone wants to transcript, be my guess. So. Asked a few things: First of, Warbreaker was written as a sort of prelude to the character of Zahel. Aluminum does not give an atium shadow (Whoo!) Nightblood is a Shardblade, that is super powerful and twisted. If Kelsier's Cognitive Shadow went to the Forests of Hell, he would be a shade. If Laras's Cognitive Shadow went, he would be a shade. If a Seon went, they would be a Shade. Will post audio when I figure out how.
  20. This is a theory that I believe is almost certainly true: Nightblood is an Honorblade (or the same class of weapon. Not one of the Heralds' weapons). It's essentially an Honorblade, only with different powers and restrictions. But it follows the same scheme. At the San Francisco signing, I asked Brandon if Nightblood would function as a Shardblade on Roshar. He said that Nightblood wouldn't just function like one, but that it was one. And, coupled with Nightblood's nasty habit of consuming Investiture when in use, and how it needs a variable precondition before use (in this case, it judges purity of heart), and how it is "Orders of Magnitude more powerful than a Shardblade", Nightblood is an Honorblade. Honorblades consume Investiture, which is why Kaladin is more efficient than Szeth. Syl says, Also, Honorblades (I think) must be given for use. I remember a quote for that, but I can't find it. Sorry. Finally, Honorblades have numerous quotes stating how they are more powerful than Shardblades. So, there you have it! Nightblood is in the same class of weapon as the Honorblades! Poke holes in this theory, if you dare!
  21. Guys, Meta is right (of course). Which is why I vote Erendi. Besides, I'm too tired to think.
  22. I got the whole q and a, as well as the majority of the signing. Yeah, I heard the question about Way of Kings. It was great. Will post audio soon.
  23. I used them all, then left. I was there for three and a half hours. It was sooo fun. The staff was fantastic, giving me a table by Brandon and supplying me with drinks. He was nice and unbothered by my constant thirst for info. I got to talk to some fans and interact with them. I met some Sharders and generally had a blast. He answered my big questions, which I would say change things. Not gonna tell them until I get to a computer, but I can tell you, they are doozies. He read some Silence Divine, which was fascinating. Karaokang, a thousand thanks. We must do this for Stones Unhallowed.
