I created these from mad libs. They turned out rather well. "Taravangian has just written a book called "The Ward in the Secret Soulcaster ." The main character in this Dying story is a (an) Lying girl named Shallan who can't decide between a career in Scholars or marriage to Bald boy who promised her a Storming Shardblade . The author has many conflicts to resolve, but finds that a Soulcast marriage is the answer. This book is written Suddenly and filled with Alethi language. It proves the old saying: "A woman's place is in the Highstorm ." "Shallan and her ex-husband Kabsal, were seen last night at the Twenty-Three Club holding Ardents. Could it be reconciliation? The international heartthrow, Kaladin, and the glamorous top model, Jasnah, are expecting their first baby in November. Jasnah is denying stork rumors, but yesterday she was seen buying a maternity Soulcaster."

You Know You're a Sanderfan When...

When you keep trying to convince your D&D group to switch to the MAG. -
I decided to take the initiative and make a topic where we can all freak out about the upcoming "glimpses" until the actual release. Feel free to ignore this until next Tuesday . For those who don't know, now that the major previews are all out, Tor is doing some thingy where they release little snippets by email. You can sign up for it here. This finally got me to sign up for a Tor account. I'll probably be spamming the WoK reread with comments now.

Dang it, not sure if I'm to late to do anything. At least we can agree that my lack of attentiveness proves I'm not spiked? Right?! In any case, I vote Digits, if only because he looks dead anyway.

I am Magicspren! Edit: Hang on, back up. If we are spren, does that mean we can bond with book characters and turn them into surgebinders? Aether + Spook? Renarin + Feather? ??? -
Is a Shardspear possible and can Shardplate be summoned
Scriptorian replied to rbnguevara's topic in Stormlight Archive
But that is not nearly as cool. -
You misspelled "by" in the topic title. Interesting idea. I don't believe I've heard it before. I'm still not sold on the Shen-spy theory, but it's defiantly possible. The real question is why he would kill Gaz? And why doesn't anyone just say that he is dead?

So much face palm. But I up-vote you anyway. For those unfortunate souls who don't know, this is almost a direct quote from Alcatraz. By the way, Bastille dies.

The Ultimate List of Questions for Brandon

Maybe they would just start glowing like a rainbow? -
I got bored so... Yea? Nay? I think it needs a border of some kind, but I'm not sure... Edit: put up a smaller version with a slight bevel on the border.

Sorry I've been a little less than active lately. So, to make sure I understand our current situation: Peng wants to kill Wes for ambiguous reasons, and due to Peng's supposed credibility, many are following his lead. Those who disagree (for whatever reason) are voting for Quillion just to force a deadlock? Or something? Is there any particular reason Quillion was chosen? If we really just want to make sure that we don't kill someone important, we could just kill me off since I'm not being much help anyway. Although, that wouldn't be tactically sound from my perspective since I am fairly certain I'm not the Inquisitor. I haven't gotten enough sleep to come to my own conclusions. Someone convince me who to vote for please. I'll go ahead and vote no one just in case.

*Shrug* I'll go try it right now! Edit: Hey, it worked!

But..but....but...but... Hey guys, look what I made (two months ago)! Just kidding, your stuff is really awesome aWESomeness! Seriously, I'd steal one for my profile picture if I hadn't put so much effort into the one I made. I can safely say you're better at this than I am. P.S. I tried putting this in the Gallery a while ago, but I guess it never got approved. Anyone know what's up with that?

Sorry I haven't been on recently, Seran doesn't talk much anyways. My originally liked the idea of not killing anyone, but then a couple people's arguments convinced me otherwise, but then those people changed their stance and have brought me back to killing no one. P.S. Did you know more Words of Radiance just got posted?

Seran wished he had accepted those free drinks the night before. He stood of to the side of the crowd, his face pale, his eyes fixed on the corpse. After all this time, he thought, have they finally caught up with me? No, this had just been the result of an overly ambitious crewleader. But still if Inquisitors were involved...His eyes trailed to the hooked rammed through Modeft's skull. He'd strung up his share of allomantic heretics, but somehow this sight managed to fill him with nausea. He moved his gaze to the group of murmuring crew members. No accusations had arisen yet, but they would soon. Lord Ruler! He thought. This lot will probably do the Inqusitor's work for it! As for accusations: eh, I got nothing. Someone start acting suspicious already! Edit: I might be able to get behind the idea of not killing anyone yet, just remember that it could potentially be the Inqusitor who's suggesting it (not an accusation).

Seran bit back a curse as he stepped into the rancorous tavern. He hated crowds and, as he discovered with some dissatisfaction, that someone had already taken his customary stop atop the rafters. Brushing some ash off his cloak, he moved through the room, seeking refuge at a solitary table in the far corner. He waved away a barmaid as he seated himself. He didn't think much of anything that muddied the mind, and there were, of course, those old instincts that made him suspicious of anything he hadn't prepared himself.. Keeping his hood down, Seran glared at anybody who looked like they might try and interrupt his seclusion. He couldn't shake that nagging feeling, a subtle yet almost palpable sensation of dread. The last time he had felt such, he had shortly thereafter been betrayed and ambushed by Inquisitors. He could only hope he was imagining things...

It seems I've traded one convoluted organization of corrupt individuals for another, Seran thought with displeasure as he examined the list. Taking out a pen, he furtively scrawled over the entry next to his name so that it now read: "Seran, former assassin".

Coincidence that we both used it, yes. However, I've used it as a name for a Mistborn character before.

I am called Seran. I was once a slave to the Lord Ruler, trained as an assassin in the Canton of Inquisition. I was a silent weapon employed against both heretic and rebel. Now that I am free, I have joined this crew seeking some slim hope for redemption. Though I have forsaken the assassin's blade, the skills from my former life serve me excellently as scout and infiltrator. Keep my secret well, least you bring the wrath of the Inquisitors down on all of us...

Ships and boats that can endure Highstorms?
Scriptorian replied to Aspren's topic in Stormlight Archive
I guess you could be right, I had just received the impression from the book that any attempt to sail during a highstorm failed miserably (like the Wandersail). Also, conditions on the ocean during a highstorm would be much worse than on land, so I don't think wagons surviving is applicable.
