  1. “Hm. I may be able to help. You’ll be needing two sets of everyday wear, that’ll just be a shirt and pants. You’ll want a sweater for the winter, and of course a set of robes. Also, shoes. You don’t know your house yet, obviously, though I doubt it’s Slytherin. You’re far too…timid. Hufflepuff, maybe. So you don’t know what colors to get yet for accessories. Other than black I suppose.” She speaks incredibly quickly, rattling everything off to a rather overwhelmed looking Trance as she shoves various clothing items into his arms. ”And there you are! All the essentials. The counter is there, and the door is that way. As for at Hogwarts itself, I’m sure you’ll get used to it quick. And if you ever need any help, do let me know. I’ll be a fifth year, so I know my way around quite well. And I’m always happy to help those in need.”
  2. Vera has been struggling to find a good first day outfit. The normal uniform is far too boring. She needs to accessorize, something that will make a splash. But also not get her detention again for breaking dress code. She had gotten out of it alright, but she would rather not repeat the experience. Too many strikes on her record and she might not be able to go on to do great things, like her parents have. And wouldn’t that be terrible? Ah! There’s something excellent (and, perhaps, inspired by the first year they had met in the bookshop): a dark green capelet with silver embroidery around the edge. It would look perfect above her school-issued button up and blazer. Not atop the robes of course, that would be far too much weirdly placed fluttering fabric. Ah, and over there: a beautiful hair clip shaped like a butterfly, silver with fake sapphires embedded. She can fix the fake gems of course, and replace them with real emeralds to match her house colors. She picks out a few other accessories, all matching the theme. The final things to go in the ever-growing pile of boxes in her attendants hands are her new robes, perfectly fitted to be as fashionable—no that’s not right. As not terrible as possible. When Azalea points out the boy from before, she walk over to him. “Hello again! You still a bit lost? You look confused.” @Through the Living Mist
  3. I think it would go great with a suit. They just gotta match. Also, it will be funny if both Leos are walking around in capes all the time
  4. Vera is piling her attendant’s arms high with books, both those she needed for school and some light reading when she notices Azalea’s choice of book. “Plot? What plot? Does anything actually happen or is it just all romance thinly disguised as ‘plot?’ See, at least my books have some substance.” Though maybe she should be talking. Her book series of choice is, after all, a romance series thinly disguised with a lot of court intrigue and a few assassinations, though in her mind that makes it much better. As they leave the shop in search of their next destination, she tells Azalea “You know, you’re one to talk about collecting lost puppies. Though that one is probably less of a puppy than the last one. Oh, but wasn’t his cape just divine? I might have to get one myself. Quite the statement.” Rather fittingly, their next stop was the clothing store. Just in time, because after seeing the German kid’s cape, Vera was in desperate need of her own.
  5. “Oh, but he’s just so clueless! Who wouldn’t want to help someone like him? Besides,” her voice drops to a whisper. “Now he owes me. And isn’t that nice?” She sends another dazzling smile to Trance before turning away and sweeping out the door. “Well off we go then, we need to get done before all the good stuff is taken.” Description: average height, maybe a little on the tall side, but not much. Blonde hair (warm blonde) and brown eyes. Dressed in very nice clothes and has her hair done, etc. Clearly cares a lot about her appearance.
  6. Sure why not? Joining as Vera Coran, the daughter of Someone Important in the Ministry of Magic (I haven’t read the books in a while so I don’t really remember how the government works) Vera, too, had been stopped in at the cauldron shop, looking over several fancier models with a gaggle of her friends, when she heard the shopkeeper’s exchange with Trance. “Now hold on one moment, sir,” she says rather haughtily. “An upstanding shopkeeper such as yourself ought to know the exchange rates. So either you aren’t very good at your job, or you’re trying to scam this person out of four sickles. Which would it be?” The man, upon being caught in his duplicity, scrambles to recover. “Right, uh, must have forgotten about that. Uh, how about two galleons, thirteen sickles?” Vera flashes a brilliant smile at him. “Sounds delightful. Oh, and I’ll be taking that one there.” She points to a different model, setting four galleons on the counter before sweeping away. She turns back then, almost as an afterthought, and says to Trance, “Oh, and, you’re welcome. Just so you know, it’s 17 sickles to a galleon.”
  7. Yup You read the whole thing? That’s kind of impressive
  8. I do believe they’re holding hands but certainly a possibility, and a very silly one at that
  9. Dw it’s not so bad. I’ve been on mobile the whole game too.
  10. Yeah…so funny story I was actually planning to try the exact same thing and claim mask of truth to you just in loop 4. It’s okay we all have trust issues, yours just seem to go the other way! (Which tbh might be a good thing in general, just not for this game)
  11. Yeah I was doing a lot of math. Especially rupee math. And parity stuff too actually. I was hoping that might get yall to trust me a little more
  12. A little bit? Not fully but keeping track of general numbers and is people would have enough for certain masks I did do the math for Doc tho to see if he would have had enough (he would have had 101 if the inter-elim pms had actually happened and he had actually had bunny. Alas this was false) How the heck were you keeping track in your head that’s insane
  13. Noo you said I was your ride or die tho this is a betrayal of the highest order and it shall not stand
  14. I was saving for a silver and was the only one of us who could have gotten one
  15. Guys think about it, maybe the real fourth elim was the friends we made along the way! jk, it was me
  16. Of course I’m a very good person I would never lie about something like that see what I did there? It’s a pun haha laugh now I’m funny
  17. Now that would be funny I will also offer brownies. And pudding of course, since that’s my signature. It’s okay it’s still a speedrun it’s just not a world record!
  18. Hm yes of course how could we be so silly as to ignore them this whole time? Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I will now vote for Wahr, who is clearly a criminal mastermind of some variety (For legal reasons that vote is a joke and my actual vote is still on Twin)
  19. Uh ig Twin? I think out of the remaining suspects they’re the most likely. Sorry I got back too late to vote Doc lol that happened so fast ————— Amora arrives too late. She had followed Thistle from the shop to the river, arriving just in time to see Thistle take their final breaths. She rushes down to the river, wading in among the flowers and frantically checking Thistle’s pulse. Dead. No heartbeat, no breath. The sparkle in their eyes, faded from the last few days, finally extinguished. Amora cradles their body, tears dripping down and falling into the river like tiny raindrops. “I’m so sorry. I never meant to…I never meant for any of this to happen. You didn’t deserve this. I’m sorry I couldn’t see how much you were hurting. I’m sorry I didn’t come back. I’m sorry I never told you…” she pauses, then finally says out loud the words she had been holding in this whole time, far too late for it to mean anything. “I love you.” She steps out of the water, into the nearby field, and begins picking flowers, weaving them into a crown before placing it on Thistle’s head. ”I’m going to do better, okay? Because of you I’m going to do better.” Here ya go, a reaction!
  20. Oops. Ig I’m just remembering the end of the day, when it did get very close and could have been decided with Bremen or Keaton. Which is probably why an elim (Doc most likely) went for Keaton. Honestly I don’t know. I believe you that stick is elim, so I doubt they wanted her exed. Honestly I think right now we should focus less on the why (and Keaton) and more on the who, since we need to get all three of these correct. (also can we do more RP I like this character)
  21. I can confirm this is true (the dead doc stuff). I guess someone else pretending to be him is possible, just doesn’t seem probable. I do think Hael had the Captain’s Hat, the alternative seems incredibly convoluted.
  22. Wdym it wasn’t close? It was tied or different by one vote for most of the day iirc. That only changed at the very end with Archer’s vote. Stick could not have gotten it, she would have been at 30 rupees at the very most (if she had max posts) by the night.
  23. See I want to believe you—it would solve a lot of problems for us—but I just don’t understand why e!Hael would do some of the things he did last loop. And talking with him in the dead doc did make me a little more trusting of him. But then I’ve also kinda been reading you as village throughout the game, so idk I think the takeaway here is that we exe stick first and while we’re doing that we have a while to figure out whats going on between you and Hael and which of you is elim. I do think it’s still very much up in the air.
