  1. No, it is not. Anyone who was followed was notified of it.
  2. Night 1: Justice Undeserved The explorers, who had been so united just the night before, sitting around the fire and eating their s’mores, now shouted and pointed fingers, each one at the same time trying both to prove their own innocence and accuse the others. Names were flung around, each one accusing someone else, the conversation growing more heated as the day progressed. Some began to search the House for evidence, for some sign of who might be the killer among them. One was successful. More marshmallow stains were found on the edge of a sink, in a room deeper within the House. “Everyone come quick! I found something!” The others rushed into the room to inspect the evidence for themselves. And that’s when Patrick remembered something, something that might save him and doom the other. “I saw Warren coming out of this room last night. He must have one the murder and then come here to wash his hands.” Voices rise again, everyone turning to glare at Warren, who raised his hands, stepping backwards. “It wasn’t me! That’s just a coincidence! Please, you must believe me!” But coincidence or not, it was all they had to go on. Warren was marched to the entrance hall, where a new debate began: what to do with the killer. At last they decided: they would leave him tied up in a locked bedroom, where he would be unable to get out and do more harm, at least until the figured out how to get the doors open. They aren’t killers, after all, even if he is. By the time they decided, however, it was too late, for when they turned around to collect him again, there he lay next to the other body, a kitchen knife in his chest. Justice was administered. But now there was another killer among them. ———————————— Wahr has been executed! He was an Innocent Explorer. Night 1 has begun, and will end at 8pm Pacific Time on Tuesday, April 21. Please get in your actions before then (yes, exploring and searching for clues is a night action) Vote Count: Wahr (2): Fizz, Star Fizz (2): mippo, Mint Mint (2): Wahr, Striker Striker (1): Mist Mippo (1): Qian Akimiko (1): Divergent Mist (1): Fallen Divergent (1): Doc Player List:
  3. 45 minutes remain to get your votes in Current count (someone please correct me if this is wrong) Fizz - 2 (mippo, Mint) Wahr - 2 (Fizz, Star) Mint - 2 (Wahr, Striker) Striker - 2 (Mist, Doc) Mippo - 1 (Qian) Akimiko - 1 (Divergent) Mist - 1 (Fallen)
  4. The only votes which will be counted are ones made in thread. If you don’t vote, no vote will be counted for you. (the last game was quite abnormal in how votes were made, this is how it typically is)
  5. The person with the gun has to kill someone. If they choose not to kill (or are blocked) they die.
  6. There’s about half an hour left in the cycle to get in your exploration and gift votes!
  7. The deck of many things concept is really cool, I like it a lot
  8. That is an excellent question I don’t have an answer to yet, and would love some ideas for. I want to have an incentive to keep your bond alive as long as possible, but I’m not sure how to make that work (and be balanced)
  9. So I accidentally posted this in the wrong thread so I’m gonna put it here now. It’s still very rough but I’d love some thoughts perhaps https://docs.google.com/document/d/10-Pb2J9bf90sP-Ke4rJLDN9SoQoUeoKInyM9GMwFNV4/edit?usp=drivesdk
  10. Oh this is helpful, thank you! I also realized I put this in the wrong thread so I’m gonna post it over there instead sorry about that
  11. You were evil for a couple of games, and in both you had everyone entirely fooled until the end. Checks out to me.
  12. I did notice that, actually. And my original idea for the elim team based on that cycle was entirely correct. But I was convinced by his later posts he was village
  13. Yeah I’m down, that’d be cool
  14. This is where I’m at rn. I think it’s probably a bit overly complicated especially for a first time gm, and the powerscaling is definitely a bit wonky, so maybe I could get some advice? https://docs.google.com/document/d/10-Pb2J9bf90sP-Ke4rJLDN9SoQoUeoKInyM9GMwFNV4/edit?usp=drivesdk
  15. Oh okay, that makes sense. Well, if anyone’s willing, lmk, if not I’ll just keep checking here
  16. Could I sign up to co-gm for someone? I also have a (probably very bad) idea for a ruleset but I want to run something with someone else first
  17. Vera circles high above the field, eyes peeled for any sight of the snitch. Her broom is top of the line, of course, so she zooms around at speeds most of the others cannot match. She dodges a bludger someone hits in her direction, then darts downwards toward them at top speed, pulling up just before they collide and causing the terrified beater to nearly fall off his broom as he scrambles to get out of her way.
  18. Okay so. Here’s where I’m at. We currently have a pool of four suspects that it makes the most sense to shoot within today. That pool is me, TJ, Ver, and Drake. Me: Obviously I know that I’m not the elim, so I’ll be voting within the other three. During the last cycle I used Obliviate on Ver, which eliminates both of our spells. Ver: I was pretty suspicious of Ver last cycle because of all the switching back and forth on whether or not he was prefect. It felt like he was purposely confusing everything and I thought it might be a ploy to get the elims another spell. I still don’t like how much he was switching, but he has given a final answer now that he is prefect. This cycle I felt even more like the going back and forth on prefecthood seemed elim because we all agreed shooting within the prefects is our best chance today, so deliberately confusing who is a prefect or not is essentially just making it harder to solve and lowering our chances of actually hitting an elim today. However, he is probably not the one who Obliviated Doc, because of my Obliviate on him, so there is only a 50% chance it would have gone through if he did do it. (Which I will mention, the elims knew about because I talked about this in the Slytherin pm) I will be voting negatively on Ver, but he is not my -3. TJ: TJ is the one who relayed the owl mail from Doc, which an elim has no real incentive to do in this scenario. He also claims to have used his spell to protect Aman/Drake last cycle, which we unfortunately have no way of proving. Other than myself he is the only one who has not lied about being prefect (at least not to my knowledge) which does give him some village points in my book. He is generally well trusted and I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets extra credit today, however I would actually rather he gets friendship. I know I can’t guarantee that with my vote but I think that would be the best outcome, since he would then have access to three houses. If he’s a villager, that’s very helpful for us, and if he’s an elim, it doesn’t really matter because they already assumedly have someone in at least 3 of the houses. I may or may not vote negatively depending on what I think the votes will look like, to try to achieve that goal. Drake: I have generally felt that Drake is village the whole time he’s been here, except from his most recent post in which he claimed prefect, for the same reasons I stated with Ver. I think deliberately hiding that you’re a part of the best possible pool to exe within feels like a very elimmy move, and while yes that could take away a good NK target, it also lowers our chances of actually exeing an elim today. I was also very on the fence about Aman before he left. Ink said they had not used a spell yet when they were claiming to be prefect. Drake has not claimed either way. We have no way to verify until next cycle as he’s said he will use it on TJ. I will be voting negative on Drake. Edit: @Frozen Mint since I see you’re active, can you confirm Drake is prefect?
  19. I don’t think so either. Which leaves the Griffindor prefect (whoever that is) as the only available option. So that’s Drake or Ink. I’m not really sure which.
  20. So last night Doc was killed. Doc was a prefect, and in his after-death message to TJ he said he self-protected. The only way that would have not worked is if a different prefect used a spell that cancelled out his spell. Which means there must be an elim among the alive prefects, who are me, TJ, Ver, Drake?
  21. Ugh not you too Frozen Mint is the Gryffindor prefect. Final answer? So you have though? You’ve said multiple times that you either are or aren’t the prefect. I would definitely call that going back and forth. Okay so. The suspect pool we should be shooting in today is the prefects. That’s me and TJ for sure, probably Grass, and one of the Gryffindors. It would be really nice if everyone would stop lying so we can actually solve who is elim and not who is a prefect. There is a 50% chance (ish but let’s keep it simple) that Grass can’t have used a spell last night. There is also a chance that I can’t have used a spell last night (I know this is a certainty but some people clearly do not believe me). TJ claims to have used a spell last night but it can’t be proven. Ink claims to have not used a spell at all (and may or may not actually be the prefect) I don’t have time to fully analyze this rn since my break is now over but I will when I get home.
  22. Right. So you are prefect. Final answer? Because you’ve gone back on it a lot of times now.
  23. I’m not saying Ver is cleared. I still think there’s a good chance they are elim. I’m saying they probably didn’t obliviate Doc last night and I think finding that person is our best bet to exe an elim, which meaning exeing within the prefects. I obliviated Grass, meaning they are less likely to be the one who cast the spell, so I’m turning to other more likely suspects for the cycle. I know you’re new, so I get that backing off your main suspect to focus on someone else can seem a bit suspicious, but sometimes the best pool/target is different from your main sus. I have since rescinded this vote. But I am reconsidering with what Drake just claimed. So. Can you kindly stop lying about who is prefect? It feels like you’re purposely obfuscating to make solving this harder, which is only making me more suspicious of you. Are you or are you not prefect yes or no please stop making this harder for everyone.
  24. Yep, that’s what I figured. I do think you’re probably village atp for that reason.
