QF79 Cycle 4 - How did this happen? We're smarter than this.
coco.pudding replied to Doc12's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Ah okay, that’s fair. Well, it’s not, but you’ll have confirmation soon enough I suppose. See the super fun thing is that the opposite is also true. If I die and flip village, they’re both doomed, since everyone will know at that point I’m telling the truth, and they’ll both be exed. Obviously I’d rather not be exed today since that would get us into a lovely little 3v3 situation that I’m not sure village can make it through, but I take comfort in knowing that if I am at least everyone will know I’m right and hopefully vote them out. Oh hey I just realized another thing! In that scenario all three elims would actually be revealed since there are two cleared players. Hm. That’s fun.- 91 replies

QF79 Cycle 4 - How did this happen? We're smarter than this.
coco.pudding replied to Doc12's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Here’s why I think he did that: I have come out and said I have a role which could be very useful for village. I said this yesterday and used it to clear two villagers. The fact that I have this role has been confirmed by others who have said my scan was correct on them. He knew this role would be dangerous to his team, but since they have an inhibitor he wasn’t too worried since they can just keep inhibiting me. And he couldn’t actively look like he’s exeing someone with a useful village role, so he voted someone else instead. However, once I became an active threat against him and his fellow elim, he was the first person to vote against me and try to turn this back on me. What does this prove? Anyone can claim cytonics, regardless of alignment. Multiple people have openly claimed theirs in thread. Role claiming is very much NAI, and sometimes elims will even be more eager to do it since it will give them villager trust and a reason to not get exed.- 91 replies

QF79 Cycle 4 - How did this happen? We're smarter than this.
coco.pudding replied to Doc12's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Yes. I scanned Drake during the second cycle and it said he had a pm with you. When asked, you said you only had pms with Ver and Fizz. The only reason you would lie about this is if it’s not a pm and is instead the elim doc. I don’t know if you did this, I’m just assuming you did since the elims would obviously want to inhibit me so I can’t clear any more villagers/discover a connection between elims, and you are the only elim inhibitor I know of. Yeah, but he’s lying about that too, so that’s not particularly helpful. I don’t know what’s going on in your head. I did purposely phrase it in a way that indicated I had not scanned you yet, and I’m assuming you felt safe knowing I had been inhibited and couldn’t possibly have more information than I had had in the previous cycle. That was my intention. If you aren’t an elim, you have nothing to hide, and therefore nothing to lie about. Both you and Drake’s reactions to this indicate to me even further than you are both elims. I would like to point out to everyone that neither of them have made any arguments except “nuh uh” and “gms wouldn’t balance the game like that.” These are not good arguments, and to me just prove it further that they are scrambling. Oh, and another thing: Yall could have avoided this whole mess by simply saying “oh, I forgot, yeah I have a pm with Drake too” and that would have been considerably less suspicious. But you didn’t. And now we’re here. The biggest reason he was sus of me was because he thought me and Fizz were elims together. He started campaigning against me after I switched off of Fizz and started defending him. Turns out I was right about Fizz not being an elim. So Myst’s “evidence” against me was proven to be untrue, he just didn’t get a chance to say it. It did happen before, yes. I hadn’t gotten results in by that time since it was still cycle two and I was blocked cycle one. This is not a Doc situation. Doc was confirmed a villager at that point (or so we thought). I am not, and therefore the elims are able to turn it back around onto me. Anyways, if you vote for either Star or Drake with me, I can prove that I’m telling the truth, and we won’t end up in a situation with 3 on 3 where village is basically doomed. If I’m wrong, feel free to vote me after, but I promise you I have not lied about anything this entire game, and I am 100% confident Drake and Star are elims. I don’t think there’s much to be gained this cycle by voting mippo. The discussion so far has revolved almost entirely around Drake, Star, and myself. Please choose one of those to vote for, preferably Drake or Star. If a train gets going on Drake instead, I will happily switch my vote. Just as long as we get one of them out today we should be fine.- 91 replies

QF79 Cycle 4 - How did this happen? We're smarter than this.
coco.pudding replied to Doc12's topic in Sanderson Elimination
No? Not when nearly everyone else was a) completely tunneled on Fizz and b) distrusting everything I said? I’d say that’s pretty good odds it wouldn’t have worked out. But that’s not really what we need to be focused on right now anyways. Kindly stop steering the conversation in an unproductive direction, thank you! If you say so, I guess. I believe this is accurate. If we don’t get an elim today, we are pretty much screwed. Luckily, I’ve just caught two people in a lie that pretty much guarantees they’re elims! Isn’t that fun? Just for all the doubters out there, here are my actions. Cycle 1: got inhibited. Cycle 2: scanned Wahr, TUM, and Drake. Wahr and TUM both have no PMs. Drake has a pm with Star. Cycle 3: inhibited again. @Through the living Wahr and @The Unknown Medallion would yall mind confirming that you have no PMs? If my claim is invalid and I did not scan you, there would be no possible way for me to know this. Also, you both lose nothing by confirming this. I asked Star this cycle if she had PMs with anyone, as I figured if she is elim she would likely lie about it. Lo and behold, she did, and now Drake is as well. This pretty much confirms for me that they are elims together. I would like to vote Star first because she’s likely the one who inhibited me and I would like to be able to use my ability.- 91 replies

QF79 Cycle 4 - How did this happen? We're smarter than this.
coco.pudding replied to Doc12's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Okay. You can claim that. And yes, I am claiming I have three actions. Please keep in mind that I never overtly claimed any number of actions and any extrapolation on your part was entirely yours. This is not something I have lied about. Three is a lot compared to just me when everyone that’s active is completely tunneled on Fizz. I do believe what’s going on is you’re scrambling to frame me so you can survive one more cycle. I’m fine with that. Even if you do exe me this cycle, I’ve identified two elims and two confirmed villagers. If I die and flip village, you’re even more screwed.- 91 replies

coco.pudding replied to Doc12's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Very interesting. This is in fact a lie. You also have a PM with Drake. Very curious indeed. I couldn’t have done much either way, with how many votes were already on him and how limited my time was today. So I elected to not. Anyways I would like to propose an elim team consisting of Star, Drake, and one other.- 91 replies

coco.pudding replied to Doc12's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Why is Drake confirmed village? With the low numbers of votes every cycle (except the last one) it would be very easy for the other two elims to be doing the voting and he doesn’t have to do anything for them to still get what they want. Anyways I do agree about mippo or star, I want their responses before I decide though- 91 replies

Neither of them have any PMs, which means they can’t be elim, since elim doc also shows up on the pm scan- 91 replies

…so, can I say I told you so now? Anyways I’ve been inhibited again, as I expected after all the discussion regarding my ability last cycle. There are 8 players left. In my view, three are cleared (myself, Wahr, TUM). That leaves three? elims among five people, which is a pretty good ratio. I would love to hear from @Through The Living Star where were you last cycle? Also, I did attempt to target you, but since I was blocked it didn’t count. I’m curious if you have PMs with anyone other than Fizz? (And also if you’re the one who inhibited me, if that’s the case, it was very rude and I am not appreciative) @___ I would also love to hear from you. Why vote for Penguin at the end there? (I’ll admit I’m also a little bit sus of Penguin, and he was my other attempted target last night, but I’m curious to hear your reasoning a little more in depth) ps @Doc12 the references are not getting out of hand, they’re excellent- 91 replies

See but last time I did that it made everyone decide I’m elim, which is why I’ve decided to not do it again. It’s not exactly a scanner, all I can see is if they have pms with anyone. If they don’t, that means they can’t be elim. I just got lucky and hit two people who didn’t have any pms. I will happily continue scanning and sharing my results for as long as you all/the elims let me. That being said it might become less useful as time goes on and more people get pms. Again, when I tried to stop it yesterday everyone decided I’m elim because of it. So that’s why I’m not trying harder today. Also, I’ve been at work all day today and will continue to be until rollover so I can’t really have a back and forth like yesterday. He did, yes. I mean, nobody’s bothering believing me because they’ve all jumped to assuming I’m elim and everything I say is a lie, which is (I assume) why there’s not much discussion of whether or not I’m telling the truth about my scans.

K well @Fizz9 reminder to drop any useful info you may have before you die. If you flip village, we’ll probably actually trust what you say.
-
Yes, I am aware of that fact. I am also well aware that my survival next cycle hinges on Fizz flipping village. Village me is bothered that two days in a row we have had virtually no effort at a counter train on someone who there is very little evidence against. I am simply stating the truth. If you believe I am elim, you are entitled to not believe anything I say. But I can at least try to have a productive conversation and try to solve the game, since that’s what I am playing to do.
-
Same. I am bothered that no attempts at a counter train have been made the last two days (until the very end of yesterday). This indicates to me that we’re probably not on the right track with Fizz. But I am willing to vote him I guess, I just don’t think he’s an elim, I don’t feel like the elims would let one of their own go so early like this.
-
Yeah exactly. A smaller list seems pretty useful to me Currently Wahr and TUM. Unfortunately I wouldn’t be surprised if after this conversation I am killed or inhibited for the rest of the game, but oh, well, ig. Not much I can do about that now.
-
I do only have one ability. And yes, I figured you would deduce which role I’m talking about. It’s unfortunately slow going based on my number of actions but I’m working on it. ugh. I would love to strategize with you. Based on what I know of your Cytonics I think we could do pretty well working together.
-
Yeah, I know. It is valid, but only because I’m village. I know that and you don’t, which means you don’t agree. I’ll let you know if I can think of a way to solve this issue, but for now I have nothing. I don’t have an elim list, I have a village list. As for why, it’s related to my ability, which I don’t feel comfortable sharing yet. I have no idea why so many people are claiming this early. I’m not saying that here. Especially since I’m not being voted out atm. I’m just offering an argument, and acknowledging that you don’t accept that argument. I will also say that in lg110 there was considerably more evidence against me than there is now, and I had been in consideration as an elim for multiple cycles by that point.
-
I mean…I’m offering valid counterarguments, you just don’t believe me. The problem here is that you refuse to believe I’m not elim, and my entire counterargument is based on something that only works if I’m not, which means neither of us is going to make any headway. This is partially why I’d like a PM, especially with you, as I have information and a theory I’d love to share but don’t want to in thread. Definitely feels like there’s something there. I just can’t figure out which one of them it’s about.
-
Mhm, and then in the next post I believe I expressed confusion at that statement, didn’t I? Because I didn’t know what the heck you were talking about. Also, can we talk about how you’re the one who started the whole conversation about the Fizz exe being too easy and prompted the side train on mippo? Anyways I gtg for a bit but I’ll be back later
-
Okay good I thought I was going crazy for a minute there Hey Myst, why’d you frame it like I knew that before casting my vote? What’s up with that?
-
I think I just completely missed where you mentioned TUM was mindbladed until you mentioned it. By that point I figured instead of flip flopping the votes around it would be easier for Ver to just add one. So yeah, it seemed normal to me bc I didn’t realize/remember the mindblade thing and then it seemed like it would be less confusing to just have Ver add a vote on Fizz rather than me switching to Fizz AND Ver having to put a vote on mippo. And yeah maybe there was hammering but it was because we (you included) decided it was weird there wasn’t any backlash against Fizz being in the lead for so long. I didn’t want to vote on either you or Wahr, both of whom I am confident are village, so I voted on mippo, the only other person I could create a tie with, and one of the people I was more suspicious of in general. Um. Confused? But not guilty. Anyways I think the elims were probably fine with Fizz getting exed so I’d rather not vote him, but if you all want to then that’s fine. Uh I mostly chose you out of process of elimination. Sorry. I mean I was suspicious of you, don’t get me wrong, but it was more about I wanted to make a tie and both of the other two candidates were people I felt pretty good about. Ooh, ooh, pm me! Jokes aside can y’all confirm? But also someone else could have easily opened those pms, including a fellow elim, so it’s not amazing proof.
-
This is probably true. Unfortunately we probably wont find out until next cycle.
