LG110, Day 1-D: The Final Day (Inverted)
coco.pudding replied to Amanuensis's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I’m just not really sure Hael is elim is the only issue. But I agree it’s weird for Doc (no matter if he’s village or elim) to not go for a silver here. He had the rupees. I did the math, I know he would have had enough. So I just don’t see anyone who has enough rupees for a silver mask not getting it. Idk man this is very confusing. I think for now we should focus on a target we know is elim (stick) while we try to figure out what’s going on with Doc and Hael. Yeah Stick’s vote was moved onto herself, and she never changed it in thread so we’re assuming Keaton. -

Yeah I think that probably means one of three things: 1 - they tried to do another kill. Probably means only one elim died as then they would have won. Note: I don’t think this is likely since Aman asked us about the surrender during the night, not after. So they chose to surrender before knowing if the kill went through or not. 2 - they didn’t kill because they knew they were surrendering. I do think this is the most likely scenario, for the same reason I don’t think 1 is very likely. 3 - Doc tried to res someone and was blocked. Again I don’t think this is likely. He claimed after I asked. Aman just wrote “captains hat” at the top. -

Wrote some RP while I was dead it’s long tho so spoiler box it is! Amora awakens for the third time in her bed in the Stock Pot Inn. This time she doesn’t waste a moment. She throws on clothes and rushes downstairs, heading straight for Thistle’s shop. Until she sees Thistle walking into the mask shop, and changes direction to follow. Today is the day. No more waiting for the perfect moment. Life is far too fleeting for that. @Doc12 You may be an elim but we can still RP until we exe you -

Not necessarily. If it’s Burnt/Hael/Drake/me or Twin they wouldn’t have. The only one that doesn’t fit into that scenario is Mist -

Huh well ig I missed a lot here. My bad. I see my name getting thrown around a lot again. Can’t say I wasn’t hoping that wouldn’t be the case but it is what I expected. So I think my current thoughts are probably Burnt/Stick/Doc?/Twin Burnt is already exed and confirmed to be elim so that’s nice. I think Stick seems to be the next one most everyone agrees on so maybe she should be the next one to go? And then hopefully that will also give us time to decide who among the rest we want to exe. It’s pretty obvious it’s one of Hael or Doc, I’m a bit more inclined to believe Hael is village bc of how he was in the dead doc (can confirm btw that he was accurately representing what we were saying. I know the others already said this but figured I’d add some extra endorsement). I originally thought Doc is probably village but now I’m really not quite as certain. Ig I’ll hold judgement for now and see how he acts during this final day. We have another exe before we need to get to him anyway. -
Right, well, the number of people voting on me is absolutely insane. I still do not fully understand why there is so much sus on me but I do get that mechanically yall want me out so I can’t get the stone mask. Please do actually exe some elims the rest of the loop, K? Yall really can’t afford to mess up again but tbh I’m not sure I trust most of you not to considering what happened today so good luck ig. ——————— Amora smiles back at Thistle. Sweet, wonderful, Thistle. She needs to tell her. And she will. Soon. Once she has the courage to. It’s shockingly scary, even though she’s pretty sure Thistle feels the same way. “I’ll come back. I promise. I’ve done this twice now, remember?” She hesitates for a moment, wondering if she should speak now. But no, she should save it. For a special moment. It’ll happen. When the time is right. And with that she slips out the door, heading to warn Vicsen once again, not knowing this may be the last time she ever sees Thistle. Guys Thistle is gonna be so sad to lose Amora

My main sus/strongest elim read at that point was Araris, but it didn’t seem like the Araris vote was going to gain any traction, so I decided to go to a train that I would also be good with that seemed like it would actually go somewhere. When the Araris train started actually gaining some traction (which I was rather surprised about) I went back to him for the reasons stated above. Correction-I didn’t say I’m fine with it. I said “thats fine.” As in, it is what it is and there’s nothing I can do about it, not as in “oh I’m okay with that”. I realize that tone doesn’t come through in text but I would have thought it would be obvious that’s more me being resigned to my fate than being okay with getting exed. So again I will make it clear: I understand that there is absolutely nothing I can say or do that will make you believe I am village, and while I’m not okay with that, there is nothing I can do because inherently anything I do will just make your belief firmer. That’s how confirmation bias works. I am resigned to my fate, but I am in no way okay with it.
-
Yep, I get it (I don’t actually but I’ve already said that and it’s entirely beside the point) you all are very sus of me for whatever reason and nothing I say or do can change your minds about it. I sincerely hope the other people who have actual reasons rather than happenstance to be sus get voted out in the next two cycles because we cannot afford to miss again. (Btw TJ I can’t see a world in which you’re not elim either, so don’t worry, we’re on the same page! ) Aw well thanks. I’ve had a lot of fun rping with you too (and yeah second game) Yeah the connections thing is the only thing that actually does make sense to me here. Seems like quite a few people decided I was connected to their actual number 1 suspect and that somehow made me their number one suspect instead. I do believe actually Doc? was the one who brought up the Burnt train again but I was also a part of that conversation. It happened D2, not during the night. -no, I did not know who would win. I’m sorry I didn’t remember you telling me that. I’m human too. I forget things. -I forgot that you had told me. -yes, I believe I did say that I would be fine with either getting voted out. In the post where I made that vote, and multiple times after. -I could have changed my vote but didn’t need to bc I was fine with divergent being exed. This is not inconsistent with what I had said before. -I did make that vote to make a tie. Wdym that’s not what I said before, that’s been what I’ve been trying to tell you this entire time. -it was in fact a tie when I made the vote, which is what matters because I was trying to correct the narrative that I knew who would win. -you clearly do not understand what I’m trying to say, and I’m not blaming you, I’m just frustrated and trying to figure out how to get you to understand the point in trying to make At no point have I said I’m fine with being voted out. I do not want to be exed. I have been saving my rupees and intended to go for truth mask loop 4. That is not longer an option. I am also enjoying this game a lot and want to continue playing. I have never said I’m fine with being voted out, but the number of people voting on me has made it very clear I’m going to be. So I’m resigned to it at this point.
-
Yes, because as I have established, I was perfectly fine with either of them being exed. Which one would be exed did not matter to me. I did not need to change my vote to get someone I wanted exed to be exed. If it had been the opposite way around, I would have done the exact same thing. Again: it did not matter to me which would be exed. I voted on Divergent to create a tie because I was curious which one would go. I then kept my vote on Divergent because I was fine with him being exed. I then agreed with the idea the next day of restarting the Burnt train. Genuinely, what about this do you not understand? How can I make it more clear so you understand the point I am trying to make?
-
Yes, that is true. But like I have said, I was fine with either getting exed. I just decided to not change my vote. I understand that you think this means I was trying to save Burnt. I wasn’t, but that’s fine. I get that there’s nothing I can do or say to change your mind because you’ve all clearly made your minds up on this. I just wanted to make a correction to the “coco saved Burnt bc she would win the tiebreaker so that’s why she decided to make a tie” narrative. I really don’t know how much clearer I have to spell any of this out, what are you not understanding?
-
Ah my bad then okay. I didn’t know who would win when I made the vote but learned that later. The takeaway is that I was fine with either being exed, Divergent just happened to end up with more votes after I made the tie. People have been assuming I knew who would lose the tiebreaker when I voted, which is simply not true and is the narrative I’d like to correct.
-
So I like this list of actions and such but uh I do have a few corrections since it seems like you’ve missed some rather important context on a few of my posts (or are intentionally misreading it like some people seem to be *cough* TJ *cough*) I do believe this was in the aforementioned readslist. Did you actually read it or just skim? : ) My suspicions on him were because he was being active ish but mostly unhelpful. I thought this could be him trying to stay under the radar as an elim. I brought up similar suspicions about Stick when she first joined. However, the fact that he requested a pinch hitter made me a bit less suspicious because he did it so late into the game. I don’t feel like an elim would be committing to that strategy and then suddenly decide to just leave. But I am still somewhat suspicious of TwinStorm because they have also been very inactive and are just chilling under the radar atm even though they are one of the 6 players with an elim amongst us. I just didn’t want to vote them at that time because they had just joined the game and I wanted to give them some time to find their footing in the game. (I’m also a bit sus of Hael for similar reasons) I believe I said I couldn’t get a great read on him because he wasn’t being active, and gave him light village lean because of the way he was contributing when he was active. But also, my read changed when he showed up and started being very active the moment he was leading the vote. The way in which he was trying to solve was also rather suspicious to me. Ultimately however I voted him because I didn’t feel like being in a three way tie, that was very stressful (and yes I know he would likely have died in the tiebreaker anyway but I didn’t feel like leaving it up to that and potential interference from roleblock shenanigans). I don’t believe anyone knew who would win that tie. Can you link the post where you said Burnt would win the tie, please? Because they had around the same number of posts as well as both had spent rupees, with Burnt spending more than Divergent because of PMs. Anyways it’s pretty clear I’m going to be voted out here. That’s fine. I just ask that you please get it together and vote an actual elim next cycle—I’d rather us not lose three rounds in a row with no win, that would rather suck. Thank you!
-
It’s not solid evidence if I didn’t know that would save her? I assumed they had about the same number of rupees at the time so I had no idea which would lose that tiebreaker. That’s a very big gap in your logic. But sure, me voting to tie two people I was suspicious of and didn’t know who would win/lose the tiebreaker is a connection, yeah. Totally makes sense and isn’t missing a huge assumption at all.
-
Do you have literally any evidence for that other than me voting to tie her and Divergent that one time? Currently have 65 you’re welcome. I figured that’s pretty obvious bc as it’s been established I got Bremen loop 1 and have been getting max posts every day since. So no I didn’t mention it bc anyone who’s been paying attention to me at all (which you apparently have, even tho a lot of your points about me don’t make a ton of sense, but that’s fine) would already know Anyways Burnt Mistfallen even tho that’s not going to do anything

Aww that’s adorable Amora smirks at Thistle’s panicked run, letting herself inside to start sorting through what they had already begun packing. She searches for things she recognizes, taking them out of their storage spaces and trying to organize them in the bags. She doesn’t know a lot, but she remembers a few things Thistle had brought out before. She isn’t fully invested in this, of course. She’s truly just waiting for Thistle to return downstairs. The last several days…twice…have been too unpredictable. They might not get another do-over. So she needs to make this one count.
-
Oh so true let me fix that Amora bolts upright in her bed once again, the events of the last few days rushing into her head once again. They had failed. Again. She knows she should try to warn Vicsen again, get the evacuation going. But that can happen later. Right now, she needs to find Thistle. Needs to make sure they’re okay. She rushes to Thistle’s shop, bursting through the door the second it opens. “Thistle! Oh, thank goodness you made it back too! Oh and-“ she sees Zymni now as well. “Zymni is back too. I’m so glad. Here, let me help you pack, I brought an extra bag this time.”
-
I would argue there are connections of some sort between literally every player. But I do get what you mean there. I just don’t think it’s something to base an entire theory off of (but who knows maybe that’s just me being new at this and not fully understanding how that sort of solving works) Mkay, seems reasonable. I do disagree, but I get where you’re coming from there. And iirc it was Burnt N2 and Stick N3, but I might have it reversed
-
Yeah, seems reasonable. I’m absolutely willing to go for a different purple. Or even just go for a red or blue this loop. Or nothing. The elims definitely gave us a very nice little advantage there with a confirmed villager being able to go for stone, since we obviously wouldn’t be able to trust anyone else who ended up getting it.
-
Oh my bad I actually fully thought I voted Mistfallen there (And yes, I know you don’t believe me, and that’s your prerogative, but it was very late and I was tired, so I just forgot to actually make the vote official) So anyway I’ll do that now Mistfallen Like I’ve said before, the “connection” between us has been mostly one-sided, with Archer defending me quite a lot and giving a strong village read on me. I’ve been very back and forth about him, kind of struggling to pin down an actually decent read. But I think with him going boom I feel pretty good about him being village now. I don’t think an elim would have done that unless they intended to throw the loop and try to get village cred for him so he’s now pretty firmly in village territory for me. Curious what the elim team you’re hypothesizing is? Obviously me and Burnt but who are the other two? Also, why are you so certain about Mistfallen being village? I doubt they will be, there’s very few that can buy one during the day (less than 4 fs) and someone may decide to go for something else instead. Just out of curiosity which purple are you most interested in? Ik y’all think I’m elim and will probably vote me out today but on the off chance that doesn’t happen I’d like to try to coordinate a little bit since it seems like who gets which purples (and which team they are on) is going to be very important this loop.
-
N1 I equipped it, N3 I targeted Archer. So no I didn’t use it to block a kill N1 (and yes we did discuss it last d1 but that’s okay : ) It is very weird. Idk, maybe they just thought it would throw us off or something? Not sure how, but I really can’t think of a good reason to do it. Maybe something weird with parity? But no that doesn’t make sense either bc assuming 3 alive elims that’s 7.5 villagers which was not the case. Maybe somehow somebody got enough rupees for Keaton and redirected it onto Ash? Also doesn’t make a ton of sense tho. But actually if someone got max discussion all of loop 1 and D2B and didn’t spend any rupees they could have afforded it. Not sure that applies to anyone tho. Maybe Doc could have if he got enough back from postman loop 1? Sorry that’s a lot of random ideas. I think the takeaway is really just it doesn’t make sense for them to kill Ash, but maybe they thought up some reason that we’re just missing.
-
Yeah, ig that’s true. I was assuming we got one but it’s certainly possible we didn’t. However Stick mentioned TJ slipping in dead doc so I’m guessing TJ probably is. I’m not sure what’s going on with the Mistfallen/Burnt situation. They’re both people we’ve been coming back to at different points. They’ve both been a leading train at some point as well. Hm. I think I feel a bit more suspicious of Mistfallen at the moment, their reaction felt a little weird to me? And a lot of our interactions last cycle also made me fairly suspicious. Also didn’t love their whole bit about how getting killed would soft clear them, it felt like them trying to justify not getting killed. Why those three specifically?
-
I didn’t get one either sadly. I went for Scents but ig RNG hated me last loop I’m down to coordinate on trying to get any specific masks/keep anything out of elim hands. It would probably be a good idea to figure that out so we don’t accidentally all go for one and let them get a different one more easily. Any context for this vote? Or just vibes?
