  1. “No, no, I’m just pretty full right now. And in a hurry. But uh, you’re not going to leave me alone, are you? I can tell.” She hesitantly takes a small bite off the edge, hiding her grimace, then gives a thumbs up. “Mm, yes, quite good. Thank you. I shall be going now.” And with that Amora is shoving the remaining food into her bag and rushing off down the street, still intent to find either people who remember the last few days or the Clock Ward commander. ———————— Very much agreed on this. He’s kind of being active but not really doing anything useful. And he tied the vote D3 but didn’t seem to realize that wouldn’t matter? Idk if it’s actually anything to do with his alignment, but it’s a bit weird. I think Mistfallen is probably village, at least they’re leaning that way for me. I do agree they backed off the “let’s exe a confirmed person again so they can get a silver mask” thing pretty quickly, but I also don’t think that indicates they’re elim, I think that was just not a great idea and they realized that when others told them as much. I also think it feels really early to have such a big train going on someone who we all were saying is village during loop 1. When did things change?
  2. Aww thanks Amora takes the food rather cautiously, sniffing it before asking “Uh, are you sure this is safe to eat? You know what, never mind. I’m sure it’s fine, and I’ll uh-eat it later, I just had breakfast.”
  3. Yeah but we all lowkey assumed they could be elim. I thought there might be a possibility of them being elim, realizing they couldn’t be active enough to do that well, and then leaving. So that’s why I decided to block you, just in case. Especially since we know there are others *cough* Hoid Slayer *cough* who are “inactive” but actually not really. But dw, I think based on the information both Mistfallen and I were able to get, you’re probably good, and based on your posts since then (keep in mind this was right after you had joined) I’m mainly getting village from you.
  4. Hm ya know that does seem like good information doesn’t it? My bad yall, clearly my brain is not all there yet. So N2 I targeted Stick with it, we had been kinda suspicious of HG before they left so I wanted to make sure. And then N3 I targeted Archer (sorry Archer, I’ve just been kinda suspicious of you this whole game so far). Can I still have a baked good? Or am I on probation? Dang, unfortunate. ——————— Upon reaching the flower shop, Amora finds it closed, the windows dark. “Huh. I hope they’re okay. I hope they made it back too. Well, I’m sure I’ll find them at the carnival later.” The carnival. Where the attack happened. Where the attack…will happen, again, tonight! Where people will die again, maybe even those she had saved last time. She remembers a commander, who had organized the evacuation. She should warn him. And others too, those that had helped with it last time. Maybe this time, they can evacuate before, or prevent the attack. Maybe this time, less people will die. This time, she can do something about it.
  5. Right. I just woke up and also wrote some of this late last night so sorry if it’s a bit incoherent. First, to the idea of exeing a confirmed villager enough times to get a silver mask. No, we definitely shouldn’t do that. We already have very limited chances to exe an elim, and that just brings it down to two. It basically relies on then NKing one of their own for us to win a loop, which seems highly unlikely to happen. We should be focusing on trying to exe elims, and they just narrowed down the list of potential suspects for us. Next, on the tie thing. There’s never really going to be a tie in this game (at least that’s my understanding) unless the two people have the exact same number of rupees (and probably neither of them has a mask). So Hael was never in danger, unless someone had decided last minute to place another vote on him. I’m not sure whether or not Hoid Slayer knew this when he placed that vote. He might not be paying enough attention to know. But also I still get a weird read from him so he might just be faking some of that inactivity. Next, my votes last loop. I see it’s been brought up that only two people voted on both exes, and I was one of them. For Wahr, I voted on him because I genuinely thought he might be an elim due to the way he had been acting up to that point. For TUM, I wasn’t sure about him. But the reasoning (that he brought up) of exeing him to reset his rupees and confirm him as a villager if that happened made sense. He was also, out of the two trains that existed at the time of my vote, the one that I was more suspicious of. Hopefully this is a helpful explanation. Glad to see I was correct on which mask Mistfallen was claiming. Sorry you didn’t get anything from it, I was really hoping something useful would come out of that. I see three votes on Mistfallen already. I feel like they’re one of the most villager leaning in my eyes so I’m slightly confused about that? But I guess it is basically just the beginning of the day so things can change and I did see Wonko’s reasoning of just kinda getting things started. Last thing, I had the Bremen mask! No, I did not use it to block a NK on night 1, I had to equip it first so I would not have been able to. Sadly I didn’t find anything particularly useful. I was not able to block the N2 kill sorry Ash. And no, I didn’t use it to block any votes. @Archer Can I have a baked good for my claim? ————————— Amora is awoken by the sound of music and celebration outside. She bolts upright, feeling for wounds that are no longer there, still slightly out of breath from the battle before. Wait. The battle. She remembers that. Remembers the Skull Kid coming down from the rafters and stealing the mask, remembers trying to protect the apprentice as she played her song, and then…nothing. Could all that have just been a dream? But no, it wasn’t. All of it happened, the explosions, the evacuation, the battle in the woods, the expedition to the temple, it was real. So how is she back here, at her room in the inn? What is going on? She needs to find the others. Kieran, Thistle, Cindra, that Goron whose name she had never gotten, the one who shot the bombs. And most importantly, the young apprentice with the Deku mask. The one who played the song. Maybe she would know what had happened. Amora sets off out of the inn, heading for the flower shop first. Thistle had looked terrified at the end of the battle. She needs to make sure they’re okay.
  6. Amora charges in right as the bomb hits, her other dazzlefruit already flying toward Odolwa’s head. As the monster staggers, she leaps upward, aiming her sword to slash across its chest right where the bomb had weakened it. Debris falls on her as she moves, sharp little rocks and dust that would have broken skin if not for the ironshroom, but she brushes it aside, not allowing anything to stop her from reaching her target.
  7. Amora accepts the fruits and tucks the extras into her pocket, downing the ironshroom as she gives Thistle a nod of thanks, too winded from her mad dash across the room to say much of anything. As she rushes toward the beast, she tosses the first dazzlefruit, aiming for its head in an attempt to hopefully blind it as they close in around it.
  8. “I’ll go left, you go right. We hit at the same time. And you!” She points over to a group of soldiers nearby. “You take the back. If we all work together we might stand a chance.” With that she rushes to follow her own directive, bearing down on Odolwa from its left flank, just behind it to hopefully stay in its blind spot.
  9. “If we hit it from enough directions at once, we might be able to bring it down. It can’t hit all of us at the same time,” Amora calls across the room. “Like how I got a hit in before, while it was distracted dealing with you. Unless you have a better idea?”
  10. Amora gratefully accepts some water and quickly bandages up a long gash in her arm. “Thank you. Keep doing this, yeah? Supplies and such are lovely. But stay out of that thing’s way. I don’t want you in any more danger than you already are.” Somewhat rejuvenated (and no longer bleeding out), she heads back in to the fight, ducking an attack and slashing at the creature’s legs once again. Sleep well!
  11. Amora rushes in as Odolwa focuses an attack on Kieran, slashing at its legs from behind, then darting out of the way as it turns toward her. ”Okay, how about a new strategy? One person try to distract it, another attack. Go for the legs, if we can bring it down and make it less mobile we might have a better chance.” Odolwa attacks as she is distracted from speaking, one arm slamming into her, sending her flying toward the far wall. Her sword drops to the ground as she rolls, trying not to break any bones on impact. She gets to her feet slowly, moving forward to retrieve her sword, then scans the battlefield. A few people still fighting, some hanging back and supporting how they can, many dead on the floor. This isn’t working. Something clearly needs to change if they are to win this fight. Noo how unfortunate Ah right of course, how could I forget?
  12. Okay but the real question here is can milk save you from the fish?
  13. Amora glances at those around her, the warriors standing in a battle line, weapons held at the ready, and those who could not fight, but who had bravely joined the expedition regardless, holding back but clearly prepared to do what they could. She levels her sword forward at the enemy in front of them, for a moment considers making a grand speech as the heroes of old have done. But she is no hero of old and there is no time. So instead she simply shouts “Charge!” And begins to rush toward the boss. (Unless I’m just dumb and someone’s already actually initiated the fight?)
  14. Same. Probably for everyone, tbh —————— Amora steels herself for the battle to come, drawing on all her training to stand her ground in the face of the horror in front of her. The last few days have all come down to this. She is ready. She can only hope her companions are, too. Sword held high, she prepares to charge.
  15. Yeah, I guess that is true. Idk, I think some of those people likely will die later, but who knows, maybe someone will make it through? And hopefully if one of them is an elim we can figure that out and exe them, thus stopping them from getting enough. I can definitely see the logic in exeing higher activity players later but I think for now we should let them be since ultimately more of those people will be village than elim and more rupees for village benefits us. Also pertaining to specifically Mistfallen, I want them to be able to use their mask tonight to hopefully gather more information they can tell us at the start of loop 2, which they can’t do if they’re dead. Edit: current vote count Hael: 2 (Divergent, Stick) Doc: 1 (Wonko) Coco: 1 (Araris) TUM: 3 (Archer, Mistfallen, coco) Divergent: 1 (TJ) TJ: 1 (Doc) We good with TUM getting exed here?
  16. I disagree. I’d have to actually do the math to check this, but I’m fairly sure there’s like 4 or 5 people max who actually have enough to have a chance at a silver in loop 4 (with the obvious exception of someone who dies every loop) and those people have to get full rupees every cycle and (here’s the part where I’m not sure and would have to do the math) have to never die and likely never buy another mask. I will be doing the math on this and getting back to you, but I’m pretty sure that’s the case. So yeah I don’t think we should be exeing one of the very few people who have a chance at that one.
  17. Ah okay. I figured that could be the reason. 3 am is rough for rollover. @Araris Valerian Would you mind answering my question earlier about why you kept your vote on Wahr? You are probably the most suspicious out of that train to me and it’s because of that.
  18. Agreed on the relative inactiveness, it seems more useful to have the people contributing most to the discussions stay here in thread. Not that it super matters since there’s only the night left in this loop, but we can still have meaningful stuff happen during that. I’m actually kind of curious if we should look back at Hoid again. I think the reasons Archer and Doc brought up to vote them made sense. I know there was a little discussion of it earlier this cycle, but I’m wondering if we should be discounting them this much. I don’t know, I just find it weird that they posted so much D2 but contributed so little to the actual discussion. We can always go back to that later, though. And I do realize they said they wouldn’t be super active for most if not all of the game. As for the active trains, I’d be willing to vote on either, but I’d prefer TUM since the additional benefit of resetting his rupees seems useful if he is village, and he is also the one I’m getting more of an elim read from out of those two. Noo I enjoyed the snake elims one that was so silly ———————— Amora stands in the entrance to the temple with the rest of the Woodfall group. Her eyes dart around the room as she tries to think of a strategy for the coming fight. She’s never faced something like this before, doesn’t know the stories the others speak about. But she is here, and she is trying, anyway. She looks to Link as he speaks up. “Yes, that could work. A distraction could be useful. Or perhaps we could aim you somehow? I’m not certain how that would work, but if it did do you think you could get enough force to knock it over?”
  19. I’d like to third? Fourth? Whatever. the “let’s not exe Mistfallen” sentiment. While yes they would probably be nice to have in a trust circle, we can’t be sure we will have one. (Honestly, I feel fairly good about an elim already having died) In addition, if they do have the mask they seem to be implying they have, we probably want them to use that on someone tonight, which obviously they can’t do if they’re exed. I see there’s been a vote on me, let me go check on that rq shall I? Okay, I will say this reasoning makes sense. Obviously I’d rather you not vote me but I’m perfectly fine with it. I do agree that there is likely to be an elim among that train. It just makes sense, both statistically and strategically. I’d say out of those people I’m least suspicious of Mistfallen. I think they’ve been doing a good job driving discussion forward in a useful way and offering some interesting points. I don’t love whatever they’re doing with Archer, but I understand the necessity and I’m guessing they’ll probably tell us a bit more about it next loop when they no longer have the mask. Also, if both of them were elims it wouldn’t really make sense for them to be doing the code. There is definitely a world where one of them is, but I’d be more inclined to think it’s Archer than Mistfallen. I’m also not super suspicious of Divergent, for similar reasons. I think they’ve been offering good reads and strategy. While I did feel a bit weird about some of their posts D2 I think they’ve made up for that pretty well and I feel like I’m getting a pretty solid village read from them. TJ I’m a bit less sure about. There’s less to go off of than with the others for them since they’ve been considerably less active, but I also think some of their moves have been rather odd. Popping in for pretty much their first post with any substance to park a vote on someone and then leaving for the rest of the cycle seems like an odd move. Especially if (and I’m not certain on this, I have to go back and check) it was already a train that looked like it would win. Meanwhile Araris you are actually the one I’m least certain of. This is for pretty much the same reason Divergent just mentioned. You voted Wahr due to a misunderstanding and then didn’t remove it even after the misunderstanding was cleared up. You kept your vote on him even when it became clear he would be voted out. I’m really curious why you decided to do that. I’m holding my vote for now as I’d like to hear your response to this, but out of those on the Wahr train you are the one I’m most inclined to vote for. I’ll work on some more in-depth analysis tomorrow, although I might not be able to do much since I’ll be busy for most of the day. As for the reason I haven’t been as active today as I was for the last couple cycles, today was my first day back to work after being out with probably the flu. I came home and laid in bed for a solid 3 hours pretty much just no thoughts, head empty, I tried looking through and collecting some semblance of a coherent post but uh yeah brain was not cooperating because of irl stuff today. I should be doing a bit better tomorrow and I’ll just have to catch up then. (Should this part be in blue since it’s technically not game related? I don’t know, someone please tell me)
  20. Amora heads to the kitchens first, collecting some food to pass out to those incapable of getting it themselves. Next, she searches for extra blankets and pillows, to provide some comfort for those trying to sleep, or for the injured. She spends some time making bandages and carrying supplies back and forth in the makeshift medical area, doing what she can despite her lack of skills in the field. She doesn’t let herself stop moving. She is barely on her feet, barely functional, stumbling through the actions she takes, moving on autopilot. But she knows how to push through and she cannot let herself stop. There are people who need her, even if she might be doing more harm than good at this point. Still she doesn’t stop. She searches for those she had protected, back in town and on the road. She wants to make sure they’re all okay, that they have the supplies they need. They are her responsibility now, and she will continue to protect them. She finds some, brings them food, water, blankets. Then moves on. Someone tells her to rest but she doesn’t listen. She can’t listen. If she stops, she’ll have to process what happened. She’ll have to remember. And she can’t allow that. So she continues through the halls, carrying supplies and sometimes messages, never stopping to rest.
  21. He’s posting a lot, but they’ve mostly been one-sentence posts or little rp bits. There hasn’t been much actually useful in there I’m also down to vote Hoid, I’d just rather do it next cycle as hopefully he’ll be more active. (Though he has said he probably won’t be active much for most of the game so I kinda doubt it)
  22. I think the reason for why he’s jumping so much makes sense. He’s basically putting pressure on each person, once they give reasons for the activity he was suspicious of he’s moving on to the next person. In the last game (at least from what I remember) he wasn’t really giving reasons for it, but he does seem to be now. So I guess, no, I don’t think it is? At least not any more than the other things he’s been doing. These make sense to me. Aligns pretty well with my own reads atm. Out of those the one I’m most suspicious of right now is Wahr. He’s being very inconsistent and weirdly defensive. Going for a mask says nothing about your alignment. Both sides are definitely going for masks. That was a big thing we talked about D1 (village has a higher chance of getting masks since there are more of us and we should try to keep them away from the elims as much as possible). Also, dead players start with enough to buy a red mask loop 2. So it doesn’t really matter if you die or not, you can still get those.
  23. Okay I know this was a while ago but I do want to respond. Yeah I wanted to make the vote count as a way of seeing where everyone is at partially to help me figure out where to vote. There’s a couple people I’d maybe be willing to vote on, it would be mainly those I didn’t mention in the earlier post since those are more neutral leaning, and I just can’t figure them out. But that’s also a lot of people, and I really don’t have anyone leaning elim yet. But that would probably be the pool. So this is in fact what I’m taking about, this is not helpful in the slightest. This tells me nothing. This is why you’re on my “I can’t figure them out” list. But I’m sure you know that. Honestly upon reading through what’s happened while I was asleep I’m rather inclined to change my read on Wahr, some of the moves he’s making here are pretty weird. Why do you keep asserting stuff and then backing off immediately? And why are you so threatened by getting a vote, one vote is not a huge deal (admittedly three is but that’s beside the point), unless you’re an elim who doesn’t want to be voted off this loop. Death isn’t permanent in this game so it shouldn’t be an issue. Also, hi Stick, welcome to the game!
  24. Ah that’s fun. Okay then. ———————— “I’m not sure. I tried to collect as many as possible, but there may be others who need our help. But there may be others fighting as well, I can’t see through this horde. We should try to move. Gather the group and get somewhere else, somewhere we can defend better or at least closer to our destination. I don’t like being out in the open like this.” She looks back, at the people they are protecting, trying to calculate if they could all make it. They probably can’t. But she will try anyway. (RP accurate reason for somebody to get exed, anyone?)
