Just a minor correction, we are technically at 27 - Since two people backed out. My guess is 3/4 characters with Illumination (one bad), 2/3 with transformation (one bad), 2/3 with progression (one bad) and 2 with division (hopefully 0 bad?). Not sure about the rest of them, just consider those to be the 4 most useful abilities.

A silhouette of a man was walking along the edge of the chasm in the post-storm showers. If anyone had cared to look they would have realized it was Ace, a man in his mid-50’s who had a penchant for talking to himself. Is Ace loved highstorms, always had, he felt some sort of affinity toward them. This was why, whenever possible, he would watch them and go walking through the showers afterwards. White “I told you there wouldn’t be anything out here Phyllis. Why do you never believe me?” Text To any who may be watching, it appeared Ace was talking to a little hammer he always carried around. Still “What do you mean there might be something out here? What are we even looking for?” Ace was starting to raise his voice above its usual whisper. “I should stop listening to you. Do you know that people think of me?! They think I’m crazy and talking to myself!” A Ace continued to walk along the chasm looking around for something… if only he knew what. Thing? I'm excited for this game. Been a while since I played and this one looks fun. *EDIT* Orlok, I'm the same way - but I'm going to try really hard on this character, because I put a decent amount of thought into his back story and character.

Ace, a delusional man in his late 50's who thinks he is a Knights Radiant and a Brightlord. He carries around a ball-peen hammer calling it his Shardhammer. I'll think up some more backstory for him when I have a chance. Also, let's all pretend that Roshar has ball-peen hammers - kthx.

He does have to sing silly songs. He wouldn't truly be Larry the cucumber Mistcumber if he didn't sing songs would he? -

I wasn't going to, but I'm going to sign up. I'm going to play as Larry, a balding, middle-aged man. Has a quirky sense of humor and is always looking for his hairbrush. -

I think you might be underestimating how conniving most of these miscreants are. There is a ton of subterfuge going on in this group - we will put on a good show.

Ceni - 16 year old Female tribute from District 3 signing up. Ceni has always been rather good with electronics of all sorts. She has a certain knack for anything that transmits or receives a signal. When she was younger her grandfather had a very old radio. Her grandfather always told her it was from 'before'. A fascination with this radio drove her to a passion for receivers and transmitters. Throughout schooling it became apparent that Ceni was made to be an engineer in the communications department. Those dreams were cut short by her being selected to participate in the hunger games. While terrified to be in the hunger games, Ceni is resolved to do her best to make it out alive. Only time will tell how she performs.

Valid point on the second part. It would have been an argument though (better than nothing). The first part though - if the heterochromic was the officer and a spy you would have slowly lynched every lighteyes looking for the officer.- 611 replies

Mid-Range Game 4: The Alethi War of Unification
Macen replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
True, I wasn't going to avoid suspicion 100%, it's nearly impossible with my playstyle. As far as your first cycle points were good ones, I think I would have made those same mistakes good or bad though. My defenses were 100% sincere (with the exception of me saying I was good). The culling of the lighteyes is what got me caught now. I was just hoping to get a few other people killed before I went down. If cycle 2 hadn't gone so poorly (I figured we would get 2/3 not 0/3) we would be 4-1 now instead of 2-1. So, it would be 15 people and a 10/5 spread with us getting 3 more tonight (hopefully) and 7/4. Which isn't bad. Oh well, things went wrong - oh so wrong. *EDIT* You are ignoring the fact that the Officer could just as easily have been a heterochromic spy. If that would have happened you guys would have lynched every lighteyes until there were none left. *EDIT 2* Actually, I wish I would have thought of this sooner. I might have been able to put together a pretty strong argument against Alv. DOH- 611 replies

Mid-Range Game 4: The Alethi War of Unification
Macen replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
So, here is my plan boys and girls. I'm going to role-block Alv and go after Wilson or Luckat. I have a gut feeling one of them already spent their battle skip. I don't want to tell you guys what to do in case Wilson role blocks one of you by sheer luck. I would point out that if she doesn't know who you are attacking, and you both don't know who each other is attacking, there is a decent chance that you just both happened to attack the same person if she blocks you. I would recommend Alv for one of you (why not, I'm blocking him anyways) but you can go for whoever you want. Also, I'm a little upset the Shardblade holder gets an unblockable attack, while being able to use an ability that makes him immune to our attacks (the same turn) while also being 100% confirmed villager. Seems a bit too strong to me, but oh well. I was really hoping my lighteyes skip would skip the shardblade attack (and I was going to try to scoot by with this) but Wyrm has squashed my dreams. Hope you all have fun, I'm looking forward to finding out how the first battle turned out like it did. I would like to point out that my Surgeon gambit would have worked if Joe was the surgeon and not the heterochromic. I feel like Wyrm trolled us by making the only surgeon the heterochromic! *EDIT* Color, I did the reddish color for the EVILNESS factor. *EDIT 2* Sidegame: High-five to anyone who can figure out which parts of this post were troll.- 611 replies

Mid-Range Game 4: The Alethi War of Unification
Macen replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
For all of you who are wondering who the guardsman who saved Kas is - it's really kind of obvious if you think about it (I can't believe I didn't notice it sooner). Luckat is your guardsman. As I pointed out - Kas was very lucky he didn't die - who would have chose to save the Uncertain Possible Wit instead of the Shardblade wielding 100% confirmed good guy? The only probably option (there are plenty of options, but most of them don't make sense) is that Luckat is the guardsman. So, my advice to the other guardsman? Don't reveal your role, they are just going to lynch you based on principle. *Scratch that, reveal yourself, I wouldn't mind them lynching another one of you. * = What I edited in.- 611 replies

I am curios as to why a guardsman would have been guarding either Kaddar or myself? If the Guardsman was good, why wasn't he protecting the only 100% confirmed person? Just curious.- 611 replies

Well, I guess I will be seeing you all later. Sorry that you are losing a surgeon to the claims of someone saying they are TWO things we can't prove. You know I'm lighteyes, you just don't know I'm the surgeon. You know Alvron is none of the above for certain. Adios guys.- 611 replies

This was before the rule clarification about retracting votes causes the next person in line to lose their role. I assumed whoever was the first person to vote would lose theirs. As far as my vote last cycle, I had to go check I didn't figure you already had a vote on you, so I put one there to try to make sure it was split up. Hopefully that answers your questions. I'm working today so I have access to the forums all day, so please let me know if you have any other questions.- 611 replies
