Even my hate for how bamboozled I've been is out weight by my admiration. Great write-up and great playing so far this game. *golf clap*

Or we could just keep the items we know he has on him and keep pain-knifing him... just a thought.
-
This is, in no way, a guaranteed kill... We just need to hit someone who is suspicious with the hope of a kill. The only chance we have is to kill a GB today, and to get lucky and pain knife someone tonight who is attacking. I wish we had a slew of emotional bracelets to use tonight, but don't. :/ I'll be sending out some PM's tonight to try to coordinate some actions. Input is welcome, my choices haven't been the best this game and I'm more than willing to admit it. I don't know if we will kill a GB with Humperdink, but at this point in the game I feel the chances of taking out the sword are better than trying to crack a plate that we can't kill and stop any actions. If we crack it tonight we can kill him tomorrow.

The pain knife user decided to pain knife meta. Meta had told him go to for you or sprenil.
-
Saritu, I think that Sprenil being a GB is unlikely. The GB have too many items to have a single user NOT have an item. It doesn't make much sense. There were tons of people who started with only 1 item, and tons who started with 2, or two and a role. I think the chances are just as likely he started with none. The argument of going for him when he has no items, after stating he had no items 2 days ago (didn't know we were going to verify) as the reason he is GB seems a little bit of a stretch. Building your house on sand with this one my friend. EDIT - it didn't save blue, again.

I haven't voted because I can't. I have declared an heir today. I know Meta has a Tier 1 defense item because I was the "heir" to a tier 1 item he acquired which tells me he probably still has his shardplate (there are a few other options, but they don't add up very well). Tion was painknifed last night, so he couldn't make Wurm his Heir - so the item came to me. This also means that he couldn't have been the assassin and received Joe's half-shard (although he could have been heir'd the half-shard if the assassin already had a tier 1 defense item - this all seems very unlikely). However we vote, we need to vote together. There is currently, at a minimum, 4 GB's and they probably have 2 reversers (we have at least 1). There are 12 us, but I can't vote today so 11 votes. So, essentially, we are looking at a 8/3 split minimum (if they have 4, and only 1 reverser) but it's more likely to be around a 7/4 split. If we have two people not vote with us or numerous other reasons then we lose the vote. Every vote truly does count, and they have to be together. EDIT - It didn't save as blue.

Ok. Here's what I'm thinking. We know Awes is bad. Using Lucal's post we can discern that there are more than likely 4 GB (possibly 5, but I looked over it and I think 4 is more likely). I have recently learned that Tion more than likely still has his plate (which means there are 3 sets) so it reduces my suspicion on him a little bit (no where near completely) but that helps. From the write-up (if we can take the write-up word as law) we know the one who was attacked (awes) does not have the shardblade (He nodded for another to use it) and that he used another painrial (i'm guessing the reverser from the day before - I need to double check how many were used). He may also have the soul-caster now. We know that there was a second GB with a painrial, that uses up two of their tier 2 slots, then I'm guessing another got the Half Shard from joe (I didn't see anything about an heir). We also know that they have a spanreed/reverser/emotional bracelet and I'm guessing an alerter (I'm the only person I know of so far who had one - I doubt there is only 1). Their Sword user is going to be someone we are less likely to suspect. That leaves Saritu/Humperdink/Khas/Saritu/Alv (Also Cara and Joe Dirt, but I have learned new evidence to help convince me they are less likely). Obviously Meta and Awes are still on my list, but my gut is telling me our only chance is to take out the painrial or shardblade - which awes has neither of and meta has a shardplate. Our best bet is probably to vote out one of the "less active" people and hope we strike gold. I realize voting Awes seems like the best idea, but they are just going to keep using the painrial on him. This is why I'm going to support Wurms vote for Humperdink. *EDITS* In green

UGHGHGHGHGHG. I just hit back after spending 20 minutes typing and I have to go now. I'll type up the message again when I'm done moving stuff for the upcoming garage sale.

Here is the information I've been given. Wurum aimed for Awes. A pain knife was aimed at Saritu (possibly Aspren). The way the chat reads, the person was "trying to use a fabrial on someone" the pain-knife holder seems to think that means they were pain knifed. If this is the case, then that makes me think Saritu is a GB (possibly Aspren - but until I know for sure who the Pain Knife was aimed at, I'm not sure). The only explanation of the ShardPlate holder being pain knifed (which was one of those two) and the bow attacking him would be if Wurum had gotten soul-casted to attack Saritu (or Aspren). The problem I see with this is that I received an item from Wurum last night (unless I received it from someone else. I was heird a single use painrial which means someone already had a defense item and so it passed to me. So, I will make my heir Spenril. Spenril has no items per the spy. So, he is either the decoy GB, or a noble. Vote him if you want, but I doubt he is a GB. Right now my top guesses are Awes, Tion, Saritu, Cara (She has been out of the obvious radar the whole game, except for joe - who kept being adamant about players who are trying to stay out of the lime-light. I can't vote because I am making an heir, but that's who I would vote for). *Note* Cara is a shot in the dark. I don't think that the GB have their shardblade on someone we would suspect. (such as awes) the only chance we currently have is to get the shardblade with our kill

I did get played Awes, you are correct. You diverted my suspicions in subtle ways very cleverly. The only thing I don't get is how you guys knew we were aiming for you, and how you knew to aim for Wurum... I'm not going to lie, I've always considered myself pretty good at these kind of games, but you made me question everything about myself in this regard. I will be scrambling today to figure out who you have tried to protect - it will be fun. Maybe I can find one of your other accomplices. I have suspected you for a day or two, I knew someone from our original 4 had to be bad. It also helped that every night you got the perfect evidence to deflect us to someone else. I still don't fully trust Tion, because I don't think there are 3 pairs of shardplate out there, and I gave mine to Wurum. Also the fact that you knew perfect who to aim for, and who to defend when Wurum, Meta, and I were the only 3 who knew who was being attacked and who held the bow (he hadn't used it yet, so you couldn't have emotional bracelet'ed it). I'm going to go through notes and figure out who else was subtly protected by either of you. For full disclosure to everyone, since the GB have known since the 2nd day. I misread how the Alerter works (Sorry Mail, I seemed to have misread a lot this game), and thought it would tell me WHO used an ability on me, not just that an ability was used. So the ploy I thought of day 1 was to have myself become a target by 'accidentally' claiming to have a main item. Then when I was attacked/spied/stolen from I would have the identities of some major roles (maybe even the identity of a GB) and I wouldn't die because I had a shardplate. While the alerter has still been very useful, it didn't function in quite the way I expected. This game was very very well played by the GB. Hats off to you guys.
-
Yeah. I know that mail. But does that mean only 1 pm, or I can make as many as I want as long as I make it public? Also, Sorry for my misread. Statement sitll stands true, as far as I know - meta and I were the only people who knew who the Bow was aimed for?
-
If anyone is wondering what happened (I think). The bow aimed for someone we suspected. I gave my shardplate to the bow holder, and meta pain knifed the bow holder (him and I were the only two who knew about the bow). Meta claimed he had an action assigned to the bow holder tonight and he said he wasn't attacking him. The bow holder joked "I hope you don't pain knife me" and meta didn't respond. Regardless, due to my poor judgement meta has a full shardplate (we swapped plates, healing his). We played coordinating the GB meta. I vote we don't aim for meta, because we will only chip his shard plate. I'm waiting to hear what information was spied out. I will be using my spanreed I got from Grey today more than likely to open up other conversations. I don't think we have much of a chance to win (next to 0) but maybe if we get lucky.
-
After doing some analysis of the information I have. I'm fairly certain that Meta is a GB. If this turns out to be the case I can safely lay claim to nearly single handedly being the reason we lost this game. I had the trust of quite a few nobles, half of which I have been the main person behind lynching them. The only other person who has as much influence is Meta. Since I know that I'm not GB I can only assume it is him. If he isn't GB then whoever the ghostblood are need to go start a sindicate, because they played this game brilliantly. (It was played brilliantly regardless).
-
Ha, I didn't notice that Awes. I am feeling better. I can't wear a shirt right now, but other than that I'm doing great. Thanks for the concern.
-
Mail. Can I request an extension? I have been on the river all day and got super burnt and am shaking like I have hypothermia. I have a lot of info I need to analyze and won't be able to tonight. I'm sorry to everyone. I'm not sure who I sent PMs to over the last 8 hours but if they made no sense please let me clarify later. I haven't been and won't be in a clear frame of mind until I take care of my body. I'm sorry again to everyone for the inconvenience I promise I'll do my best not to let it happen again. *Note* I might post some pictures of my wicked sun burns tomorrow. I look like what you would expect a dying vampire to look like. P.S. With how bad my hands were shaking it took me 30 minutes to type this in the tent. Don't tell my girlfriend.

I feel like the lack of an ability to confirm roles is killing us this game. I'm camping and tubing today so I won't be on much. I'll check back after tubing and get actions in but I won't be able to communicate much. Sorry guys.
-
Smart. I have been coordinating things since day one, I don't think that's been a secret to anyone. Meta and I decided to vote for grey. We aren't 100% but either you, grey or the other reverser is gb. Alvs vote was switched by grey to prove to me he has a reverser. I encouraged you to share your items via pm so meta and I could figure out what's going on. And try to catch people in a lie. How did you get your reverser? If you already said and I did the notice, sorry. Im on my phone and it's hard to check things.
-
I'm sorry guys. I'm at a friends 1920s themed bday party. So, if I send a message tonight I'm probably intoxicated. Sorry bout that. I'll respond more in the morning. I need to get caught up on everything. Since u was one of the driving people behind the Grellin vote I will be backing it up. It's not 100% but it's pretty close and the best we have.
-
Theory, I would like to point out I'm being a leader too! > (That's an angry face, if it doesn't show up). Kidding aside. Like I said, Meta and I (with jost as well) have been trying to find a target for tonight. I ask again, if anyone knows where Sphinxs items went (one was inherited, one was taken), please let us know.
-
Well, at least we are getting some communication going. It's better than the slump we were stuck in. The unfortunate thing is, I think we are going to miss the mark again. If Tion is GB the game is already over. I would still greatly appreciate if Sphinx's heir contacted us. Unless the heir was GB, so they got both items, it will help us immensely find a GB.
-
It's a good theory, but that would mean I am also a ghostblood. (I am in half of the conversations with Tion, joe is in the other half. Which means Joe, Tion and I have been trying to find the GB in our chat with the 3 of us with all 3 of us being GB. Which, would be pretty silly. While I agree there is a decent chance one of us is a GB, I extremely doubt 2 of us are. Since I know I'm not a ghostblood, I know all 3 of us aren't. I've been in a lot of PM groups and most of them were 1 on 1, and recently 3 person. Early on I was also in a couple 4 person PM groups. Past games have proven that more than 3-4 people in a PM group is a bit too many in most scenarios. It's too hard to catch someone in a lie. *Note* Also, if all 3 of us are GB then we are playing this brilliantly. The chances of us being in the positions we are, and all be ghostbloods, would take an act of true brilliance or blind luck. *EDIT* Added the note and changed color.

Mid-Range Game 1: The Stormfather and The Nightwatcher
Macen replied to Rubix's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Rubix, I got you here. Joe is a wannabe informant, but no one ever trusts him. Because he's always lying. *EDIT* Except for me of course. He has told me in the past he agrees with my opinion that the chulls are behind the desolation.- 384 replies

Mid-Range Game 1: The Stormfather and The Nightwatcher

Binnut, you won't regret it. Half of the fun is the behind the scenes. I am going to use the name I'm using right now. I am Ace, the pet detective. Did you know that 83% of crimes are really commited by pets!? Most people don't. I am here to help prove that the coming desolation is really being brought about by a group of mischievous chulls, mark my words. I have never heard of a panda but I am VERY curious. I am have been looking for the mastermind behind these chulls and no pet is out of the question. The sky eel that I interrogated last week wouldn't tell me who the leader was, but I will find them! Roshar depends on it!- 384 replies

Also, some additional knowledge for you: Alv, I was the one who had your vote switched. Wasn't anything about who or why, I just chose a random person who was voting on the next highest votes (at the time I set it up) to have a Reverser switch the vote of to prove they had it (and to help us lynch Aonar, which turned out to be a fail). Fnorf implied he was betrayed, but unless both of the people I'm working with are GB he didn't reveal that he had it to them (they were in a PM with him, not me). So, I don't know who he revealed it to, if anyone.
-
Could whoever was the Heir of Sphinx please contact meta via the PM you have with him and let him know. It is a big hole in the information we have. Thank you. *EDIT* At this point in the game, we need to consolidate information. The only items of dire consequence we keep hidden are the soulcaster and the grand bow. The shardblade is already theirs (unless they have another one). The reason i say this is, the GB already have the items and numbers they need to win. We NEED to lynch one today, so the more information we have, the better chance of a lynch we have.
