Yeah Mail. That's why I was wondering if the GB got the shardblade for sure. I'm assuming the painrial didn't technically get taken by Ffnord because he died before he could take it. Just a technicality. :/ *EDIT* Wording.
-
True point. I just wonder what happened to the painrial than. It SHOULD have gone to Fnorf..
-
They would have to happen in that order. Fnorf couldn't kill someone when he is dead...
-
Well.. That was about the WORST thing that could have happened today. Does that mean that Fnorf got the Painrial, then the GB got one of the two items. Or they got the Shard Blade for sure?
-
Well... ****... I just got played...
-
Wyrm, I honestly doubt it's on purpose. I think the people who had spanreeds just went for the poeple they thought they could read better. After tonight the group I have been working with will attempt to contact more users to spread out the info. We were trying to figure out which spanreed holder was GB. If Faialen turns out to be good... it may be a bit longer.
-
Theory. When night comes we will get you added to a spanreed convo. The more people we have distributing info the better chance we have. Even if the GB get a hold of some of it, it's better than 1 person having it and hiding it.
-
Faialen, you have been acting suspicious majority of the game. In subtle ways. If you are not GB set an heir you trust and take. Sorry it came to this, but trust is a rare commodity in this game. *Edit* Added Blue *EDIT 2* I forgot to remove my vote for Alv

I'm going to beg to differ on this opinion Jim Bob. I have learned quite a bit from the lynchings, and ultimately we have benefited. Taking things at face value - someone died, we lost x items - without taking the knowledge gained (there is a lot there if you look in between the lines of other peoples posts and do a little digging). Someone died for our gain in knowledge. Not perfect, but it helps. Maybe that knowledge won't bear fruit for a few cycles, but I promise you it will. This is especially true in a game where communication is limited. The span reed holders have to put themselves at risk by contacting anyone and there is no other way to speak in private (other than the Ghostbloods, who can speak on their document). Would you rather us gain information from lynchings that actually give us information, or from deaths that the GB got to pick, that give us next to no information. Not to mention the 1/4-1/5 chance that we get a GB... *EDIT* I'm going to vote Alv. You have been active in previous games, were on less than 2 hours ago, and it's been 4 days since you posted. I'm just curious if there is a reason, or if you're just taking more of a back seat. Contact me through a span reed holder if you would prefer (i'm in contact with all of them) or post here.

Panda, there are probably more than one painrials. My guess actually 2 or 3. My guess is only 2 of the main 4 attack items, and probably 2-3 of the defense items and 2-3 of the other secondary items. Just my guess though.
-
Panda. Not to be rude. Either you are trying to fake ignorance of the rules (more likely) or you are just oblivious. You may want to go reread them.
-
I'm trying to decide. Would I rather the GB have a reverser or an emotion bracelet. Tough call.
-
Well... that's enlightening... I believe this gives me some revelations. I'm now curious how many reversers are out there and hoping the PK didn't get another one...

Mail, Could you give us the order of night action execution?
-
Meta, If you could please contact me I would appreciate it. ~Macen

Mail. When you said 48 hour night did you mean 48 hour day? I'm assuming so because we are more than a few hours late. (I think most of us understand how time consuming it is to gm. So, take your time. )
-
It's my charm and good looks.

I would agree with Awesome. I am one of two that I know of at the moment that know all 3 spanreed holders. The other person and I are only certain that we share 2 that we know, so there could be 4 total. I would advise against revealing who the other spanreed holders are. I've been doing my best to keep this information very confined because at least one of them is GB. If the GB found out all of our spanreed holders we would be in a world of hurt. As for alerters. How I read it was that they only show the action, not the source of the action. Which essentially means, the only way to catch a GB for SURE is to use an emotion bracelet on them when they do the GB attack. Even then, we don't know how Mail is going to word it. He may just say "X used an attack".
-
Our span-reeds should get their conversations going.
-
Sphinx, I understand what you're saying. I should have read that a little more thoroughly. I was more worried about making sure the GB couldn't take it, and - if I died it would go to Jost. Mail - another rule clarifiation:
-
Wurm, I'll give you that. I didn't consider just naming an heir, I thought you had to name an heir for an item in particular. I'll admit it makes me a target, but I can tell you that I have more than one item, and that leaves only a thieve a thief having a sure fire chance of taking it. So, unless the thief is GB, then the chances of a GB getting it are AT MOST 50%. Unless Jost turns out to be a GB. Or either of the other two options could be the truth as well. (Note: This is pending that the GB don't get to pick which item they get if they kill me). As I said, if you can prove to me you are not a GB, and have the ability to contact me tonight, I would recommend it. I'm not telling you to trust me, I would request that a Artifabrian send me a spanreed this evening if they can. I don't currently have one and would like the ability to contact others if I live long enough. If I'm a GB, it's not going to give me any advantage because I would already have the GB document to communicate with others. And if I'm not, it will give me the ability to open up conversations with those I think are possible allies. Question my logic here, pick it apart. I want some communication.

He is either a good guy this game, or just evil, regardless of the game.
-
Wes (I'm calling you this, because it's easier) I totally agree. But, I believe in a certain modicum of luck. I have trusted him the last two games, and it backfired. I've eventually gotta get it right, right? *EDIT* Either that, or Joe is just an evil person, and that's why he keeps getting the bad guy roles...
-
Xanas, the reason for Jost is - he has been a bad guy the last two games (100% of his games). Statistically, I think he is the least likely to be bad again. That being said, I just set him as my heir, I didn't give him anything. I have some additional reasons for doing what I did that I will explain to anyone who proves themselves as innocent (assuming I get a PM the coming night from someone who I believe can be trusted).
-
So, I would like to make Jost the Heir to my Soul-Caster. Question my decision and timing for doing this if you would like, but know I have my reasons.
