Yup! The main effect is that 80% of Rosharan worldbuilding collapses when you spell Honor as Honour, and if I'm on early in the morning, I sometimes tell people to go to bed. Are you American?

How do you imagine your fellow Sharders?
Ink and Embers replied to S. Stormy's topic in General Discussion
Somehow I can very much imagine Mippo and a British telephone box. He gives the exact right vibes. What am I? I'm curious now -

The Random Facts and Trivia Thread
Ink and Embers replied to Keteᛕ's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Yes, though this specific difference is because of a species of moth found in the UK but not Sweden that impersonates ant larva (?) and steals resources, eventually depleting the colony, so ants in the UK have evolved to detect when something isn't part of their colony and attack it. Ants in Sweden haven't. This was a specific species of ant but I can't for the life of me remember which, which is really annoying me now, so sorry for the not-that-useful fact -

Sandwich Is Apparently Attempting Poetry For English

Well, good luck? Try not to drown, literally and metaphorically? -
Reyx, New Hallandren, New Hallandren Garrison "Are you alright?" Reyx called through the smoke. They could still sense the four Investiture sources around them, which hopefully meant they hadn't been injured. Crimson blurs ran through the smoke around them. If one good thing had come of this, at least the smoke gave people a little longer to run. Reyx! Where are you? The mistspren's motion stopped, then spun in a cascade of light. Cayansa! Are you injured? I might have found a Lightweaver! @CoderDrag0n8 @Fizz9 Cayansa, New Hallandren, New Hallandren Garrison Still following Limel, Cayansa ducked as a shruiken sliced overhead, then another as more and more scarlet-clad figures filled the hallways. What did they want? I'm alright, they called to Reyx, If somewhat under attack. You've found the Lightweaver? Can you get them to- I've found a Lightweaver, Reyx interrupted, But I doubt it's the one behind this. Reyx, you doubted the Fused were at Urithiru for anything other than diplomacy right up until they started killing people. Where are you? Outside. Somewhere. There are two Radiants and their spren and a lot of smoke, which is obscuring us slightly. I think the red people might be able to sense Investiture. Damnation. Stay safe, Reyx. I'll try to... Cayansa trailed off, looking around them. Fight? Heal someone? Find their fabrials? Even surviving felt beyond their control. ... Just stay safe. Gritting their teeth, they ran after the others. @KaladinsSenseOfHumourSpren @Koloss17 @Hoid Slayer @KnightSkye Reforged

The Longest Thread (Misadventures)
Ink and Embers replied to ElephantEarwax's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
That seemed fair enough, from the little Kevin knew of Plotblades. "I'd love to help! I've also been tasked with clearing an unknown mountain of an unknown evil, so any sort of knowledge might be useful." He starts scribbling in his notebook, before he forgets the entire conversation.- 111823 replies

Yay!!!!!! I imagine you as average-to-tall height, very wavy brown hair, and you sometimes wear brightly coloured knee-high socks. -

Kevin stepped to the side, uncertain what 'Eia' saw while staring but starting to feel unnerved. "That's ... nice. I assume the guy trying to stab you wanted to steal your Plotblade. Can I ask what yours is? I promise not to steal it."- 111823 replies

How do you imagine your fellow Sharders?
Ink and Embers replied to S. Stormy's topic in General Discussion
Awesome!!!!!! I wish mine was .... I don't even know. Short or long or shoulder-length or wavy because the effect on my appearance feels pretty much the same to me and it's really annoying me (it's currently short) -

How do you imagine your fellow Sharders?
Ink and Embers replied to S. Stormy's topic in General Discussion
Hm... You're kind of short (not really, but enough people joke about it). You wear white socks. You don't wear glasses but you might need them and you might wear contacts. You use "storms" as a curse word. You have short wavy dark hair and you wear t-shirts that are the same colour (as in, the colour of the t-shirt varies but per t-shirt it's all the same colour) but generally aren't super bright colours. You have a black backpack with one or two badges on it. You have green eyes or brown eyes; not sure which. -

"A what?" Kevin looked at his notebook and wondered if it was going to have enough space. "Potentially? I'm apparently a Narrator, if you mean that." He summoned a helium balloon to prove his point, then let it drift away into the sky. "If you're so powerful, why burn the inn down?"- 111823 replies
