  1. I know the feeling. When all those little things begin to add up and suddenly, your problems seem to swallow you up. And you begin to wonder if you can ever do anything right. Of if you’re just an imposter, waiting to be exposed. It’s not a good feeling. This is the most relatable sentence I’ve heard in a long time. Mr. Time may not take breaks. But you should. You’re not doing a terrible job. You’re amazing. And it’s time for you to recognize that. Gosh, Glass *hug* *another hug* *still hugging* You are not the worst. In fact, you are one of the best people I know (top 15, at least ). Because you’re kind, and funny, and respectful. You were nothing but welcoming to me when I joined the Shard. And I know you are a GOOD PERSON. I know. God, I know. Wow. That is… a lot, echo. I don’t know what to say. But I think it says something about our world that this is so prevalent in people our age… I’m here. If you ever need someone to talk to.
  2. Water is not a single object; it can be broken down into several smaller units, such as liters, drops, and even molecules. These objects can, however, be referred to communally as, say, a pool. Noooooo Glass don’t leave ussssssssss ::::((
  3. So… I have robotics today. Which means I will be staying at school longer than normal, which means I will be disappearing from roughly 8:00 to 5:00

I do robotics, but it’s not really advanced. We use VEX IQ, and it’s our schools first year. There’re are only four people in the club.

Yes, almost anyone will tell you I am a nerd 😋 (except my best friend - he says I don’t play nerdy video games)

      Also: I’m back!

  4. Hmm… I understand your argument, and it seems to have some aspects that draw back to the debate on philosophy and the meaning of words. However, there are some parts I disagree with. Yes, an ancient person might see a modern car and perceive it as an exotic horse, because of their different worldview. That worldview, however, doesn’t make them right. In fact, in this case they are very, very wrong. I find your claim about the nature of the question interesting. In essence, yes, one could argue that all such questions are subjective and styled towards perception simply because we all interpret the meaning of words (communal lies) differently. And yet, in a way, that is the very trap this argument seeks to avoid. The point if this argument is to attempt to create an objective answer to a question that is subjective by nature, through debate and, yes, definitions that we can agree upon as guidelines. And yet, is true philosophy not being able to see beyond what we can perceive and believe in what we cannot? It was this trait that kickstarted the cognitive revolution and got humanity to where it is today. All answers about language will always be arbitrary. And so it is our arguments that count.
  5. Didn’t make it today, but will definitely do it one of these days
  6. If we can, Im thinking of being an Aztec deity (not sure which yet) trying to avert the end of the world. Basically, in Aztec mythology there is this giant beast/sea monster/earth goddess called Tlaltecuhtli, who the Aztecs believed had to be regularly appeased by human sacrifice to prevent her from bringing about the end of the world. But now Tlaltecuhtli has reawakened, and the clock is ticking… Oh, wonderful! Like I said, thinking of an Aztec deity, but still not sure which one… I also have some more ideas about this to share later
  7. Sounds good. I’ve only been faintly following what’s going on here since the magic systems aren’t mine to make, but I’m happy to get involved with the civilizations part!
  8. 209845 began to explore the room. In the center was a large stone block, likely a table of some sort. The walls were covered in small alcoves; as 209845 approached one, it noticed, hidden among the vines and dirt, what appeared to be an ancient totem of some sort depicting a man with the head of an axolotl. Fascinating. 209845 turned back to the room as a whole; this had most likely been a room for a religious figure to prepare before greeting the crowd in the temple. This would be a good place to rest. Only one thing was left. 209845 turned and began to approach the window…
  9. Finally. 209845 turned back to Owen and Rhyme, who were waiting, and began to lead the way up the stairs. The stairway was steep and the walls engraved with patterns of ancient heiroglyphs; as they passed, 209845 made sure to record the symbols in its personal database to review later. Eventually, the stairs emerged into a medium-sized, ornately furnished (for an ancient ruin) room. The room, which appeared to be some sort of lobby, also had doors leading to other passageways. On the other side of the room from where the group was standing was a large hole in the wall which seemed to overlook a far larger cavern, mostly obscured from the party’s current position. From beyond the window, in the large cavern, seemed to glow a faint, ghostly light.
  10. 209845 turned from Réva, to 17, and back. They were both suffering… 17 needed help, but was afraid to accept it. Réva wanted to help, but wasn’t forceful enough. Very well. If mortals insisted on behaving so weirdly, then they would have to suffer the consequences of having someone make the decisions for them. ”I said we are GOING.” 209845 turned to 17. “And you’re staying with us. Until you tell me more about these ‘Makers’, there is no chance I will allow you to return to them knowing my location.” It gestured up the stairs. “Let’s GO.”
  11. Hmm… k, I did some research and that seems sort of similar to gender fluid, yes, but maybe also sort of bigender, which means you have both male and female characteristics? Speaking of gender… time for a sort-of rant of my own. The way I see it, gender isn’t really a definable quality; it’s a spectrum. This may be something of a controversial opinion, but I believe that gender isn’t really… real. It is definitely something, because we believe in it. But when you think about it, gender exists because of the expectations and beliefs we have about how a person from a specific sex should behave. Some transgender people physically don’t feel comfortable in their own bodies, but many of them choose to identify themselves as trans because they identify more with society’s expectations for another gender, or they don’t conform with society’s expectations, period. But if we didn’t hold expectations or judge people based off their biology… then would such people feel the need to transition? To make a long story short, gender only exists because we communally believe in it. But in reality, nobody perfectly fits the “male” or “female” expectations. Gender is different for everyone, so you shouldn’t feel the need to conform with any label. Of course, you may completely disagree with my view here, and I’m fine with that. But yeah, it’s just something I think about a lot.
  12. Yup, sorry about that. I should have more time these days (at least on weekends). I’ll try to comment today if possible
  13. Will be in school from 8:00 to 3:30 (Panama time)

  14. Good to hear. I gotta go now. I’m trying to go to sleep earlier so good night guys
  15. Yes!!! I’m happy you’re happy *Sits down next to you and exists wholesomely* I know what you’re talking about. We are all a little insane; but as with all things, the negative aspects need not define us You’re not coming apart at the seams; it is a testament to your strength that you are holding yourself together What you do does matter; it improves the lives of the people you touch You’re not a child playing dress up; you’re a human in a world of masks You don’t need to know what you’re doing; it’s your will to learn that matters You are stressed; you are small; but you are not alone, and your voice carries weight Some people might hate you; but the people who love you will always be greater Nobody can tell you how much you should care; your feelings are you’re own … You might get hurt again. Your friendships may fall apart. Things may fall apart. But you will also heal. You will put things back together. And you will come out stronger. I cannot tell you that it will be worth it, or that this all serves a purpose. I hate it too. But I can tell you that it is not forever. Not if you choose to stand up, take care of yourself, and stop caring about what others think of you. It’s okay to fall down sometimes. And yes, sometimes the fall hurts, and it would be easier if we never tripped at all. But what matters is that we stand back up. You are a testament. Let the world see you. Because you are wonderful. Here are some facts: You are not a failure. Not everything is your fault. The world is not falling apart. Things will look better tomorrow. And we will stay with you.
  16. But you could be fire… Please, it’s not like I fed him to the tigers
  17. I, too, am interested if I can play a mythological figure (not necessarily a dragon). The myths have been released, and they will definitely want to gather a following as fast as they can
  18. Don’t Indulgence and Corruption already have magic systems, so the only one missing is Verity? I’ve been thinking a lot about sonomancy, the magic system I made for Order, and maybe we could adapt it to fit Verity.
