  1. “I am not like the rest of my kind.” Suddenly, Jidah appeared around the corner. As soon as it registered, 209845 felt something loosen inside it. She was safe. ”Jidah! I could sense you fall unconscious, and we came looking for you. What happened? Is Lati with you?” It turned back to the Maker. “And who is this man?” The last word was inflicted with clear aggression.
  2. Piltzintecuhtli breathed a sigh of relief. The man was reluctant, but accepted. Maybe this was the one. ”Yes, in fact. The sacrifices must be prisoners of war. Only then will the blood be right…”
  3. School today from 8:00 to 3:00 (Panama time)

  4. Before we start, can you make a thread to put the characters and maybe plan a little plot in advance? We don’t want to have all our characters start on opposite ends of the planet.
  5. “The victims must be slain on the temple and dismembered, just like the Lord. Only then will their blood reach her.”
  6. 209845 narrowed its visor. This man was likely one of the Makers. 209845 knew only one thing; he was not getting 17 back. ”Sigismund, stay out of the way.” It turned back to the man. “That individual is under my protection. Leave, or suffer the consequences.” 209835 took on an aggressive stance, carefully watching the figure for any hint of movement. It was not losing another friend today.
  7. “In order to sate Tlaltecuhtli’s bloodlust, a special ritual sacrifice must be conducted upon a temple in her domain.” He hesitated, then dropped the main part. He had to know this man could commit. “The ritual does involve some… homicidal behavior. But if we succeed, it will be for the good of all mankind.”
  8. Just behind them… 209845 shoved it’s way past Sigismund and walked up to the elderly man. He had been oddly silent so far, and its patience was waning. It prepared its zapping tool. ”You. Who are you? Where are my friends?” My friends… yes, Jidah and Lati were friends. The conclusion seemed to warm something inside of 209845. It should never have pushed them away. @The Aspiring Archivist
  9. The scene changed. The pair stood suspended in the night sky; far below them glittered the lights of Mexico City. Suddenly, the earth began to shake. The lights in the city went out, and it was only by star and moonlight that they watched as the the landscape began to collapse, then pull itself together. A massive form, greater than the land itself, began to rise. And it roared. “Long ago, Tlaltecuhtli - our Lord of the Earth - gave his godly life to create the land you see before you. For centuries, Tlaltecuhtli was kept sated by human blood and sacrifice. But now, she has awakened with a new appetite.” Piltzintecuhtli turned to Eclipse. “With your help, I seek to stop her before she destroys this world.”
  10. WELCOME We also serve free emotional support, advice, and long rants punctuated by occasional bursts of true wisdom. I am afraid you might find some competition on this point. Aaaaaand yep, there it is Gosh *hugs* As I said, we encourage rants. We’re here to listen. Man. One day I’m gonna have to learn this whole family tree
  11. *Eyes narrow* Clearly another cultist We must resist/the CULT
  12. Piltzintecuhtli smiled. This was already going well. “Two weeks ago, this stone was broken, and the deities of the world were released.” Piltzintecuhtli went through the routine. The stone appeared and cracked. The threads of light, weaving through their legs. And the channel of force, blasting straight up, illuminating the sky with the light of the gods. The lights appeared in the void, each one a wonder into itself. ”The world changed that day.”
  13. “I am no robot. I am an agent of the Cloud, a member of a highly advanced civilization. And I have a consciousness.” He looked around Sigismund, at the man. ”Where are Jidah and Lati?” Asked 209845, worried but in a completely serious tone. Something in its voice implied this was not the time to get on its bad side.

  15. Piltzintecuhtli watched from above. Joseph had been a mistake; but perhaps this man would be different. He seemed to be more ruthless, for one. Maybe he would understand what was necessary. As with Joseph, Piltzintecuhtli pushed a sliver of himself into Eclipse, and they were in the vision of the pool. The shallow water stretched infinitely in all directions, and the two men were ankle-deep. ”Eclipse (fancy last name), you have been chosen.”
  16. A beep sounded. Jidah was awake. 209845 felt a surge of relief, but did not slow its pace. Just around this bend… 209845 made the turn to find itself face to face with Sigismund. The wizard looked tired, and approaching slowly behind him was an old man with a calm expression on his face. Jidah and Lati were nowhere to be seen. Behind 209845, Spirit and Rhyme made the turn at a slower pace. @BlueWildRye @The Aspiring Archivist @The Spirit @echo74

  18. Oh my I’m glad you’re okay But I don’t think you’re a horrible person. At all. And I promise not to hate you if you ever need to talk.
  19. Hmm… I’m not sure. But whatever you choose, you’re still you. That’s what matters. …?
  20. “Perfect,” said 209845. “Our friend is down this passageway; why don’t you tell us your story on the way?” Without hesitation, it moved to lead the way. Jidah was still out there. It could only hope they weren’t too late. @echo74@SpiritOfWrath@Bird Furious@Through The Living Glass@BlueWildRye@The Aspiring Archivist
