  1. Oh Sorry I made a mistake You and Ruler are giving your breaths this cycle And then TwinStorm and Bridgeboi save theirs Its not ideal, but it’s the best we can do
  2. *hugs* Mm, mm *shakes head* This is unacceptable. No apologies. Don't apologize for how you felt. We understand.
  3. Oh, @Argenti was taking a break, and my character was going to be tied to his so I delayed. But I can make my character less tied to his. I just have one request: can the story start set in a politically involved city in Arvus? I just feel like that would be a good place for characters from all places to converge. We started doing characters, then everyone forgot about this for a short time period. You can still join if you want!
  4. Evinir took a break from the Assembly, and ducked into a side room. As soon as he was sure the walls were soundproof, he screamed. He screamed his lungs out. WHY!? WHY had they killed TUF? He had TOLD them not to! Why were Izmir, TeeJay, and even Stink all dead? All the elders of the Assembly. People he had respected. The end was coming, and Evinir felt powerless to stop it. He grabbed a chair and threw it, releasing a loud crack as it's leg broke against the wall. Why had it come to this? Evinir took a deep breath, then calmed down. He could not afford to panic now. The contradiction of that statement almost caused him to laugh in a cold way. Everything around him was collapsing, and he wasn't supposed to panic? In the last three days, his life had been upended. Evinir's tears shifted from a feverish stress to a quiet, seething rage. This was NOT how his story was supposed to go. He was supposed to run for governor next election cycle. He had carefully prepared everything, installing his people in every step of the ladder that was the Idrian political scene. And in just three days, THEY had ruined everything. HOW DARE THEY!? He vowed to take them down, just for that. Claw them apart piece by piece. They would learn what it meant to cross Evinir Cragborn. And they would burn. Okay, in that case, @The Wandering Wizard, @TwinStorm, and @BridgeBoi, save your breaths for future cycles. I know having only two breaths might fail us, but it's the best we can do if we want to have any chances of surviving past this. @Ashbringer, if Starkeeper doesn't receive a breath the same cycle as the last elim is exed, what happens then? Who wins? @KelsierApologist. You seem to be dying this round. I think you are an elim. But, as we have seen, I am often wrong. So, if you truly are a villager, tell me. Why do you deserve to live? Fight for us. Because if you're not an elim, the game is over. Convince us.
  5. 209845 nodded. "Okay then. In that case, we may have to find a way to connect you to the Rift down here. Let me think..." 209845 perused its options. It would be risky, but if it was the only way... "I can connect to the Rift, and then slowly transfer the connection to you. But first, you'll have to drop the shield." 209845 stopped what it was doing. It grew cold. "Jidah... what was your world called? Who are 'they'?" In the sudden shock, 209845 didn't realize as it cut off most of its connection to Jidah, causing the shield to begin to weaken.
  6. I’m that case, can you confirm you are sending in a breath now? Because we need to do it.
  7. Okay We’re screwed Polly I TOLD you guys TUF was innocent No matter Who still has breath left? We need to come through now @ruler of the mists@TwinStorm@BridgeBoi@The Wandering Wizard You all had breath left to give last round. Why didn’t you?
  8. Don’t worry too much, TUF. Before I log off for the night, I have decided to move onto the Polly train for a couple reasons. First of all, I was only on the TUF train to apply pressure, and I find a wrestling tournament an adequate excuse. Second, what the heck does voting on V targets even tell us when literally all the targets so far have been V? So how does this change anything? Honestly, there’s a lot about Polly that makes me think their the main suspect right now. I just really hope my gut is right here. So @The Unknown Flame, if you change your vote to Polly, you shouldn’t be exed. Also, can we get some breaths confirmed? Pretty please?
  9. “Essentially, yes. Except with Jidah, I believe it is a little more complicated. Her own bias towards seeing herself as infallible causes her to experience feelings of self-degradation without identifying them, which in turn causes her to behave irrationally.” 209845 thought for a second. How did it know all that? It brushed the thought away. It was intuitive; yet, 209845 was beginning to learn that mortal behavior was anything but.
  10. The trio arrived at the wall without much more than a couple close calls, and 209845 felt relief as the darkness inside of it receded in the face of this new challenge. "We will have to scale the wall," it said aloud, oblivious of the mental discourse taking place between its companions. "Jidah, how much can you stretch the shield?" "Mortals do that sometimes. It is unusual, yes, but not abnormal. For some reason, they seem to believe that when things go wrong around them, there must be something wrong with themselves. They fail to realize that a being's worth is measured not by its environment but the things it is able to withstand. And Jidah..." 209845 glanced at her through its weary gaze. "She has withstood a lot."
  11. My big brain is exploding Did you know that in english, it is grammatically possible to have a sentence with an infinite amount of "and"s back to back?
  12. Everything... But wait... a bot would never say its a bot cause that would incriminate itself... unless a bot knows that and would say that to make us think its not a bot... except we know that... so maybe the bot says its a bot knowing we know that a bot would know that we know that a bot saying its a bot would incriminate itself and thus clearing itself of suspicion...
  13. IDK I hope not Try this: No matter who says you don't exist, that doesn't mean it's true. Yes, there is a slim (1%) chance you are a bot, but I'm willing to take that chance. (That's a joke. I don't think you're a bot) (Or do I? ) (No, I don't)
  14. *hugs* You know, just because HeWhoShallNotBeNamedForConductReasons says you don't exist, that doesn't mean it's true. I'm 99% sure you exist.
  15. *chokes on water* WHAT!? How!? I didn’t make it past page 10…
  16. Legend is no one’s ever read the whole thing Nobody knows how it went from a story about hemallurgic frogs to whatever it is now It is the endless abyss from which nothing returns You’ll Be fine
  17. Okay, cycle’s almost over and so far we have three possible trains: Wiz: proposed by Bridgeboi Polly: proposed by Stink TUF: Proposed TwinStorm and, well, me Honestly, I’m not super strict about the TUF train, and I’m willing to jump onto either of the other two trains. I find it unlikely it’s both of them though, and right now I’m leaning more on Polly Can we seriously get more perspectives here? We still haven’t heard from @The Wandering Wizard and @The Unknown Flame Let’s try and get everyone to vote here, please? @KelsierApologist @ruler of the mists TUF, remember you have the most votes so far from me and TwinStorm. Bridgeboi, in response to your post, if we don’t get an elim this round and there’re three elims, 2 villas will die, so it will actually be down to three v three. Plus there’s the issue of breath @STINK and @BridgeBoi, since you both seem to be safe this cycle, can you give up your breaths?
  18. See, I don’t think that’s a very strong argument. If it’s true, then you’re prioritizing your own well-being over that of the group as a whole.
  19. How do you defend yourself and your past votes? What about Stink makes you suspicious?
  20. "Yes, Ji - Jidah's okay. Just a little - stressed because of all the commotion." Sure enough, the viruses seemed to pay the group no attention as they walked in. The closest they came was when a virus suddenly walked in front of the shield, causing the party to freeze, but moved on quickly. 209845 felt a surge of relief, although it was also aware that it's energy was running out. They needed to get somewhere safe quickly to change the energy source. On the bright side, the fatigue meant 209845 found it easier to resist the urge to fight. 209845 quickly scanned its surroundings, searching for somewhere the group could camp out; as long as they stayed in this chamber, the Cloud shouldn't search for them. There! To their left, near the Rift, was a low ledge in the cavern wall large enough to fit them all comfortably. 209845 signaled to the group. "Let's head in that direction. Once we get there, we can connect Jidah to the Rift."
