I think I'm officially done with the shard for now (shocker I know)

I put in my papers and things for my mission so I'm just waiting for the actual call now, and thought some of you guys might want to be on the email list

Hello, my friends!

One year ago today, on Wednesday, Feb. 28th, 2024 at 3:33 PM- don't ask me why I know that please my brain collects the most useless information anyway IT'S MY SHARDIVERSARY YAY 

Unfortunately, among this happy news, I have some bad. The time has come for me to leave the Shard.

It's been a wonderful time. This past year, because of y'all, has really been one of the best.

I might pop back in from time to time, but after today, my time here is over. Love y'all so much

Y'all really are so amazing though- I've loved getting to know you all so much, RPing and chatting and just generally messing around. But also talking about more serious subjects and helping each other through tough times has been really wonderful, so thank you all for that.

Little life update: school's going well. Been struggling to get there on time everyday, but it's fine. We're getting there. Got a paper I should be doing rn but I'll do it when I finish this up so-

Graduating soon, which is wild. Thennnn hopefully college after a bit of a break to make some more money!

okay so in theory

if i were to finish editing the kiesha novella

and publish it

should i include a playlist of songs in the back/front? i feel like that would be so fun and really immerse readers...

it's crazy that i'm even considering publication tbh because it's always felt so far away but like i literally have a completely finished draft

i should print it out like a book hehehe

it's kind of short right now but i think the text size is like twice as small as it usually is in books

and i know there's not really a market for novellas

so maybe i should make it a little longer so it's more like a short novel?

hmmmmm that might take away from the punch of the story tho

i guess we'll see

does anyone have thoughts?

so we swept the comp on saturday right

when we got back on the busses

all our parents and families were there with signs and lights and cowbells and they were cheering and it was amazing
