it has officially been 3 years since i joined the shard! three years is kinda crazy ngl cuz it feels like it’s been WAYYYYYYYY longer

so much has changed since i joined, and i know i’ve been less active in recent days, but i do still hold the title for most status updates across the entire site lol! 

as always, i’m very glad for this steady source of community and fun! i always appreciate having y’all to bounce ideas off of, or share art or writing with

i would like to say that i am in fact alive

i’ve just been really busy lol

i have homecoming this weekend, and i just did my nails last night! i’m totally obsessed and they match my dress so well :3 (our theme is Tangled)

it’s a blush base with gold chrome and champagne sparkles on top, along with the decorations (the freaking modeling gel i have IS SO HARD TO USE)

 but yes homecoming is tomorrow and i’m very excited :3

first sick absence at school

but anyways yes thought i would let you guys know i AM in fact ALIVE

i just realized i never told y’all i’m on vacation

i’ve been down in florida (this is our last day) for the past week, and it’s been actually so fun

we flew in on saturday and stayed at the airport for like three hours because it started storming right as we landed and they couldn’t get our luggage off the plane yet. eventually we got it, though, and we headed to our absolutely insane airbnb—pretty sure you can find it on the internet if you look up “magical muggles mansion”—and got settled. i stayed in the dumbledore’s study with my sister  

from sunday to wednesday, we spent our days at epic universe, universal, and islands of adventure. we had an absolutely fantastic time  

i’ll write up a list of what we rode and did and what i thought of it a little later so look out for that ig if you’re interested lol

thursday and friday have been spent on the beach! we are staying in a cute little house right on the sand. unfortunately, i had an allergic reaction to something in the water on thursday night. i took some benadryl, and it resolved. i got back into the water on friday morning, had the same allergic reaction, and have not been down at the beach since. it’s very puzzling as i’ve been to several beaches before and have never had this problem—however, i wonder if my terrible sunburn a few months ago could have weakened my skin barrier enough that the sand and salt are irritating my skin? but it was definitely an allergic reaction so idk… anyways, we’ve concluded that it is likely something inside the water. 

today, we’re flying back home, but it’s been a really good time. probably the most fantastic vacation ever. 

now i get to go make up the entire week of school that i missed (i’m tweaking) HAHAHA IT’S FIIIIINE
