I just started a new book. And I like it.
But I have mountains of homework that even Fleet couldn't climb. And I hate it.
What a conundrum.

It showed up on TLT. I think there was a discussion about root without the beer…from what I understand, it’s very tasty.

Rayvyn blinked as several corpses flew over where she was working. “You have terrible aim!” She called to Len. -
Rayvyn killed a few dozen. What is the number that comes after 40? She struggled to remember it, then started over.

Rayvyn frowns. "Really? How do they sound? I have never killed a person in my life."

“Do the 15 I have already killed count?”

Rayvyn shrugs and slices at another kleever. “I do not know. It is just something that I have heard people are supposed to do.” She stabs a kleever viciously as she says this.

Uh oh. I hope I used the right word. “I believe it is something you tell someone to do, something daring and unusual.”

"The rights to brag about it? Or perhaps...a dare for the loser?" I do hope that is the correct word. Language is so confusing.

Rayvyn patiently stabs and slashes at them. “We could have a contest for who can kill more of them.”

“I suppose things do tend to work in that way,” Rayvyn nodded appreciatively. “Let us be much boring then!” She threw several daggers and retrieved them.

Rayvyn slashed at a pair of them with her knives. “This does not seem…” she hesitated, not wanting to seem insulting. “It is mindless work. There is no art to killing them.” She explains, dispatching a third.

"What is it with everyone and eating these things?" Rayvyn groaned, rolling her eyes. I have eaten some strange things, but these people--well, creatures--well...aarrrgh.

Rayvyn pulled the pin and hurled a splodey at a group of kleevers, grinning as it exploded. "This may be fun."

Rayvyn flinched away from Dave, eyeing her own splodey suspiciously.

Rayvyn stumbles back, eyes wide. After a few rapid breaths, she says, “They seem…effective. We just need to get rid of them?”

“They are rather peculiar. How do they work?”

“I believe so.”

Rayvyn nodded at her. “Please continue eating those.”

I invented a new game called 3 lies!
It isn't almost 1:30 in the morning.
I didn't stay up this late just to finish my book.
I need to start going to bed before midnight.

"I think his coming over was a form of saying yes. He can't really communicate." Rayvyn says.

Rayvyn smiles at him. "She can read minds," she explains. "She may be able to tell us what you are thinking."
