It's terrible. I feel like I'm going through withdrawal.
(Although in their defense I do have several F's and have been spending all my homework time reading. Maybe--MAYBE--they have a point.)
When your parents steal your books and library card, delete Libby, Sora, Audible, Google books, and spotify off your phone, and tell you if they catch you reading they'll be mad.
(There's a reason I haven't told them about the shard).
Rayvyn glares. “Do not lecture” (she pronounces this very wrong) “me on killing things. Why do people keep appearing and falling? It is very inconvenient.”

“We’ll need all the help we can get,” Rue said, walking over to the group. “Does anyone want to come find another archive with us?”
@UnfortunatelyNamed
Feel that.
I grew up on Calvin and Hobbes, we have ALL of them.
Also, I’m so proud of my little brother! He has his first fictional crush. He cried over a book in public for the first time. He asked me why we can’t live in the book worlds.
He’s 10.
That’s the worst! Just remember what you did well. There’s nothing you can change now, so you don’t need to keep worrying about it; if you did good, you did good. If you fail, you fail.
*hugs*
You’re amazing.
Oooh more prompts showed up while I was gone!!! I don’t have time to write for all of them, so naturally I’m going to combine them all.
Insanity, plants, stars have secrets:
That was fun.
The Clinic: Lobby
“Like I said, more harm than good,” Rue muttered with a small grin. “I’ll help. To save Insa, and because I don’t trust you to with this knowledge.”
@UnfortunatelyNamed
Rue clenched her teeth. “I almost forgot I was talking to you. We need weaves with more power,” she said, “but there are some weaves, like balefire, that will do more harm than good. We have to be careful what we use.”
The Clinic: Lobby
"I'm not saying it wouldn't be useful." Rue says. "But there are dark things that can be done with the one power. We need that knowledge to defeat Kaos, but we can't let it survive after that." She lets her fear seep through the bond.
The Clinic: Lobby
Rue freezes. “Everything?” She breathed, looking excited for a brief moment. Then her expression darkened, and she looked pained. “It has to be destroyed. Some of that information…it could bring bad things. Good things, but terrible ones too.”
The Clinic: Lobby
“If you’d lived through the last battle, you’d understand.” Rue said. “And I don’t waste time on books. What’s your idea?”
@UnfortunatelyNamed
The Clinic: Lobby
She shrugged, looking away. “It’s better not to have friends. I didn’t know her for long, but she’s good, and kind. I want to help her.”
@UnfortunatelyNamed
The clinic
Rue stood up, looking for something to do. Sitting around moping wouldn’t help anyone, and she wasn’t doing anything useful.
