    Performance 2/8 done (I was tired last night, shhh)

    I have a lot of homework to do today and then another performance. The worst part is it isn’t an actual assignment - I have to study for my history test, but we don’t get graded on notes or anything. So really I just have to learn all the stuff super in depth and hope she gives us good terms.

    Also, I did lovely on my stats test so that’s a yay, and I’m making some big decisions that feel really good. I am choosing faith, regardless of how afraid I am.

      I stopped being into it because of the whole witchcraft element of it, but the series is really well written, there’s amazing characters and they are developed beautifully. I still save character interaction pins on Pinterest when they pop up lol

    i have friends who are hurting and I don’t know how to help them

    i don’t want to wake up (that’s a lie—it’s not the waking, it’s the rising) but if I don’t then my credit score will be ruined and I’ll fail personal finance because my teacher is a goof

    still…good and bad come all mixed up. Always be looking for your next finish line. Don’t rest on your laurels. Stay on the balls of your feet. Poised. Ready. Feel everything and then chase what you want. I’m tired. Next year is going to be busy, if I can survive this one.

    but I am not who i was. I will not be who i am.

    and there is no greater feeling than that, at least to me, so i intend to chase it.

    Oh it was a bop we watched rom coms and ate chocolate strawberries all night when I got out my car was covered in frost but I drive home anyway it was terrifying

    They were very good cookies, still warm and everything this friend I swear…the world just bends to her. “Fortune favors the brave” and all that but it literally does, she’s the one whose house I was at until 3am the other day My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

    STOP IT DONT SPOIL FOR MAGI I think I failed mine but one of my friends who isn’t in that class went home and spent the whole period making cookies and then brought them in to us right as it ended, then we all went to musical theatre together. So maybe there are more important things than passing.

    I was at the school until about 10 last night. I have a counselor meeting in an hour, a big scary stats test right after lunch, and then we open Cursed Child tonight.

    It’s ok it’s ok, you’re the best kind of fire youre like like the flamethrowers we forgot to preheat last night that worked anyway you’re the feeling of walking into your house and seeing a blazing fire in the fireplace and a pile of wood next to it, the surety that you can just sit and read and drink your hot chocolate and be safe through a blizzard or like a campfire that makes you smell like smoke and makes you feel connected to anyone who has ever lived and sat near a fire and all those people who didn’t live too.
