  1. yes, do it that way so we can be a trio of torturers. Say it with me. "torture torture torture Torture TORTURE!!!!"
  2. I feel personally attacked. I heard a similar riddle once and remembered the answer to that so that helped. And I actually didn't look at the hints. If I cheated, I wouldn't have asked the questions, i would have just given the answer. The similar riddle is: A man is lying in a field. An unopened package is beside him. Why is he dead? The answer is kind of similar, but not super similar. I would say kind of, personally. I guess it's an opinion though.
  3. Are you sure that's a weasel?
  4. especially when they have burned lichen as seasoning I GOT IT GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!! IT IS SOLVABLE!!!!!!!!!! AND I'M NOT TELLING ANY OF YOU!!!!!!!! I have earned the right to torture you!!!
  5. is it a forest of burned trees/ash? Did the forest ever burn?
  6. Dragons are amazing and respect for them is very important, if you don't respect them, all platypi (including the immortal kind) will turn against you. Was he in scuba gear? Was his cause of death falling? Was his cause of death fire? I think I'm there. I'll DM you the answer so we can keep torturing the others with the answer. Also, if I get it right, I want it to be known, i figured it out without hints unlike some people *cough Aes cough*
  7. "Ha! You fool, I didn't hide anything in A New Place, I hid it in a new place and have since relocated the sandwich."
  8. It is NOT a normal forest, it doesn't have trees!! Normal forests have TREES!!! Were the trees cut down? The victim is human, right? You said he'd be recognizable as human, but that doesn't mean he's human. (unrelated question: would a dead kandra have the translucent skin that they can show?)
  9. There isn't anything to read to find out. Is the forest a forest of corpses? (if there isn't something making it a forest, it's a plain.)
  10. Was the method poison? Did the murderer use a weapon? Could the murderer fly under their own power (not using a plane or helicopter or something like that)?
  11. Could a person who knew them recognize them as the person they knew?
  12. Can you recognize who it used to be?
  13. oh, that's a good question. I've been trying to think of some.
  14. did the murderer get caught?
  15. okay. was the cause of his death blood loss? the way you said it "He's dead, so no," made it sound like you thought that he wasn't bleeding because he was dead, not because he ran out of blood to bleed. I've got it!! He's dead because
  16. So he's been dead long enough for him to run out of blood to bleed? (You still bleed while dead, you're heart just isn't reproducing the blood so it runs out.)
  17. Are the wounds still bleeding? What season is it? (If you don't answer this, I'm going to go season by season, so you might as well answer it.) What month is it? (same thing as above) were the wounds ever bleeding?
  18. Is there dirt in the forest? Are there rocks in the forest? Was the damage caused by some sort of shrapnel? Is the damage an external wound? (cuts, stabs, etc.)? Is the damage internal (internal bleeding, non-protruding broken bones, etc)? Is the damage a wound?
  19. Is the damage a puncture wound? Is the damage a slashing wound? Is there grass anywhere in the forest? Is there dirt in the forest? Are there rocks in the forest? *This is really getting infuriating. I want to solve this.
  20. are his legs damaged? is his torso damaged? are his arms damaged? is his head damaged? Are there trees in the forest? is there grass under him? Is there blood anywhere?
  21. ok, manslaughter it is. did the murderer use a traditional weapon (ex: gun, sword)? Did he use an old weapon (ex: cannon, catapult)? Was the murderer male. (Remember, it matters to me.)
  22. Was it murder? (what i'm basically asking is "Was it murder or manslaughter?") Oops, I forgot to edit it into the other post. Sorry mods/admins!!
  23. ok, thanks. also thanks for being patient with us non-riddle experts (or at least me)
  24. Thank you! We don't need to know and I know it's technically not cheating, but I'm figuring this out without those clues. You said the murderer was human right? so no snakebite or something like that?
