  1. HOW!!!? I'm in a literal realm of light!!! What magic lets them do that?!!!!!?
  2. Explody sticks!!!! 180
  3. Why do math books make us solve their problems for them though? 175
  4. Are you sure? I think it said I could. I'll check though. EDIT: Fine, you're right, monks can't use a shield with unarmored defense. still, 19 is pretty good.
  5. Okay, that's what I thought. It's Peter's birthday through Brandon's birthday I think.
  6. yikes! I have a base monk made but haven't used her yet. Her unarmored defense (with shield) is 20. It gets worse if she wears armor.
  7. Quick. Inform me. I think I know but the information might be outdated. I don't know how it would be outdated, but it might be.
  8. It was indeed. It got solved though. 173
  9. Granted. You are always on time according to a clock that is 20 minutes behind whatever time zone you are in. I wish to not be eaten.
  10. not bad, just fragile. and yeah, they are amazing. It astounds me how my bard is both an attack and support class. Another part of the homebrew is that our ability modifiers can go up to 10 (or 11, but that is voluntary because it gives bad side effects, similar to savantism now that I think about it) so now my bard has +10 charisma. She's quite powerful. And we never stop leveling up. After level 20, our hp only goes up every 2 levels and at some point it only goes up every 3 levels and so on and so forth. I'm not sure about spell slots. I don't think my DM actually does them, I think he just lets us cast whatever, whenever (besides maybe really powerful spells). I usually still do my own spell slots and base my turns off that. My bard has a spell (heroism) that allows her to give 15 temporary hit points at the start of the targets turn after touching them on her turn. Oh, and also Flame Strike. (Look it up. It's cool and pretty good.)
  11. the most random thing? I would say that me being an immortal platypus is the most random, but, oh well. I jump down from the ceiling (I'm a ninja immortal platypus) and land on Ookla the Forgettable. "Sorry Ookla!" I yell, escaping (hopefully without dilemma) back to the light dimension as 3/4 of the Shard looks at me confused why I'm apologizing. The dilemma must be within 2 minutes of this post or it doesn't actually happen.
  12. granted. They make you turn green permanently. And also make you sick temporarily. I wish to be a platypus.
  13. yeah, I know. But I do a lot of research before I make a class (I do now, not when I made my previous characters) so I know what I'm gonna do. I'll figure it out. And I don't have a phone, so I can't look at all the available class routes most of the time. I only get the few they show in the book. And people said that bards were fragile, but my bard has the most health of my campaign and fairly good armor too, so...
  14. But 17th level way of the open hand monks can insta-kill anything in two turns, so... Monk may just be a tad ridiculous.
  15. WHAT!!!!!? Yeah, I can imagine.
  16. I don't think that works how you say it does... but I'm still gonna try it with my DM whenever I make a monk. Nope! Who/what are they?
  17. WHAT!!!!!!!? How? Tell me!!! And that poison looks really cool. I need to show that to my DM. I don't laugh at you. I don't laugh at anyone. I'm nice.* Why would you say that I like to laugh at you. I am very hurt.** *mostly and always to those who deserve it. *Like, actually though. That hurts me on an emotional level.
  18. No. I'll listen to it in just a little bit. I play the bass by the way.
  19. Yeah, I laughed when I say that. The edit did say we could comment...
  20. @Ookla the NerdyI'm not the DM to be clear. I'm just a player. I'll ask my DM about seeing the homebrew stuff. He's added a bunch of items, enemies, allies, etc. etc. They are pretty awesome. There are a lot of homebrew classes and races, my DM's stance on it is, "If I pass it off as balanced, it can be in the campaign." Right now we have a custom race (Cazian) and a custom class (Judge) though we will probably get more soon. Oh no... Quick, write down the best ways to do it. I definitely won't use it in my campaign... Question: My DM already nerfed me multiple times and I'm still overpowered. what do I do?!!!! Answer: I made a second character!!! Don't judge me, I made my decision on what class to play based purely off the names (this is my first campaign) and I play a ranger. I said don't judge me. I can feel you judging me. My other character is a bard because I love music. and now my bard is a tank with over 100 health. How does this always happen to me? That's what I used to do. D&D is fun, you should try it.
  21. I just decide, "You know what, I don't care if the credits rolled, the movie isn't over." I take the sandwich through a rift in space-time and also wake @Ookla the Ta'veren up.
  22. I immediately begin petting the Floofy cat. *subtly takes the sandwich while petting the kitty*
  23. I charge at the shadows and pull out a wristwatch. I rip off the face and the clockwork disorients them. I take the shadow vine and use it to steal the sandwich. I then give them a fake and the shadow vine. Then I put the face back on and the shadows continue to escape, thinking they have the sandwich. I run into a light universe so when the shadows figure it out, they can't come and get it.
