I understand. That's the almost the exact same reason I left MC roleplaying. I get it.
It's good to do something for your mental health. It's a big step, especially when the thing itself isn't actually bad, and the people are awesome.
I'm sad to see you go (even if it's at the end of the summer and not now), but I understand completely.

Principal Funke drummed his fingers on the polished oak desk, annoyed. Despite the recent regulations put in place on balefire, he currently had THREE students in the infirmary suffering from third degree burns. Thank goodness for the healers. Without them, Set School would lose all its students within a month. Enough of that. In a few minutes he had an interview to suffer through.

I love how his band mates just keep playing. That's real professionalism there.

flute player here, i did *almost* faint while i was on this workshop day thingy, because we were playing this really weird contemporary piece where i had to make windy/rainy sounds on the flute. i rolled out my headjoint really really far, so i wasn’t making a sound, and proceeded to play continuous high C’s for about fifteen minutes.
flute players in bands never ever faint though. think of the damage to the keywork if you fell on top of it! *flautist cringing*

I wrote a thing for a group challenge. It's based on the song Under the Circus Lights, by Owl City. It's a little rough, but I had a hard time writing it, so I don't really care to go back and edit it. -
Welcome to the Set School, the one and only academy for magic students from around the world! As you study in these hallowed halls, you will learn to use your abilities to their fullest potential and- more importantly, fight the Evil Entities that threaten all of humanity! Keep an eye out for the Unsealed, an evil organization that wants to unleash Evil Entities for personal gain. How the magic system works: The Set School is located deep in the Appalachian Mountains. Students age 13-20 are accepted, and every student is expected to leave campus with a teacher and small group yearly for a "Quest". This year's Quests will start in approximately two months. In order to go on a Quest, you need to pass your magic midterms. Good luck and happy school year, students! NOTICE: PRINCIPAL FUNKE HAS DECLARED A BAN ON BALEFIRE INSIDE THE BUILDING. ANY STUDENT USING BALEFIRE UNSUPERVISED OR INDOORS WILL BE SENT TO DETENTION.

Would anyone be interested in a roleplay that includes that magic system I was test running earlier?
There would be other plot elements, of course, but I'm open to suggestions.
It would definitely be more chaotic, although not as chaotic as the clinic.

We need to revive this thread. Hello, I am a socially awkward bookworm. Sometimes I try to make new friends. If the other person isn't also a bookworm, it usually ends in awkward silence or book references that the other person doesn't get.

Alright guys. I have a mission for you.
First, go watch Tron: Uprising. Yes, it's on Disney Plus among other places. No, they never completed the series. (It's only like a five hour commitment- they didn't make very many episodes.)
Second, go listen to Muse's album, Simulation Theory.
Finally, agree with me that someone needs to finish this wonderful series and Muse should do the music.

Hey guys! I'm testing out a magic system I've been designing, and I need your help!
Use a random number generator to generate seven different numbers, from 1 to 49. Depending on what numbers you have, you get different powers.
(The system is supposed to use a deck of cards, but I couldn't easily find a customizable online card site...)

Lol sorry, but I’m actually still smoothing out the list. Some of the skills seem a little OP or irrelevant. Give me a few days to iron out the little details, and then I’ll post it in another SU.

I love my siblings a ton, but my relationship with them varies depending on the sibling. Potato is basically my best friend (although we're goofier than I would ever be around non-family), but I feel more like an aunt to the next-oldest sister, because we don't really talk as friends. With my brothers, I'm definitely a parental figure. There are some things (like brushing teeth, opening snacks, and putting to bed) that my brothers will only let me or my mom do. I'm hoping that will change as my brothers get older, but if my family moves, I won't see them as often, so I won't have as much opportunity to be close with them.

Well, thanks anyway. It's kind of not enough text to give super beneficial feedback on anyway, especially considering how it's just a draft. I might post more of it later, once I have it in a presentable state!
