  1. Hello! What books have you read? @IheartKaladin4eva
  2. AAAAGH O MI GAWSH THAT'S SO GOHRJIS ITS ENHEBITED MA SPELING!!
  3. I'm... gonna have to go with Straff. The very thought of him makes my insides turn into house centipedes and my heart into a 600-day-old apple. I mean... he's just evil. Also, @The Stick, avoid posting twice in a row, just quote by either highlighting what you want to quote and clicking "Quote this", it'll appear in a text box at the bottom, or you can click the + Quote button at the bottom of whatever you want to quote, then click "Quote 1 post" to stick it into your post! Did that make sense? Oh and I'm not saying I entirely disagree with you here, but this post (the second one down) makes some very interesting points.
  4. Aw, I relate so much!! Like, not the specific things, but I can relate to the overall feeling.
  5. ...Hmm... I don't think that Sanderson enjoys torturing Kaladin exactly, but that it just keeps happening. That's my interpretation.
  6. Wingfeather Season One finale has come out. Since the Wingfeather thread died a while back, I'll put my thoughts in here. Sorry followers that don't know Wingfeather.

    Spoiler

Soo... they moved My Love Has Gone!

Which... I don't entirely agree with. I think it's perfect where it is in Book Three, with

    Spoiler

Esben dying and Leeli singing to comfort him, and having that as one's first exposure to that song. Because he's really dying. And then he says the line from it (In death, my love, I loved you best) and those are his last words? Oh my gosh, it's so hard-hitting. And here? At the end of Book One? It just... doesn't quite live up to that part enough to claim My Love Has Gone Across the Sea. It's just Podo "dying", and then he wakes up and everything's fine. It just... lacks the tears. Although I did have the sniffles while Nia was singing. Maybe I'll change my mind when the end of Book Three rolls around in the show? I don't know.

So that, above, is spoilers for book 3. And I just... I dunno. It's not the same. Still pretty good though, although they didn't hint at Peet/Artham's guilt over

    Spoiler

    Esben

    enough.

I did love Nugget's deep barks and stuff, that was fun.

Oh! And the warning at the beginning? Kind of odd, because if they stick to the book's plot, they'll have to put warnings for maybe older than 7-year-olds. Did that make sense? Anyway, they'll have to start putting that warning at the beginning of every episode.

    Spoilers for Book One above.

Oooh I need to catch up on Wingfeather. Angel is awesome.

  7. Aw, I'm sorry. I had a similar experience once. But not Shakespeare. I'm not a theatre kid exactly, Annie's only my second theatre play/musical/thing. But judging how much I love performing(but also hate it in a loving way), I think I might qualify. On an unrelated note, The Humming by Enya is a very cool song.
  8. Okay, I got Numuhukumakiaki'aialunamor, Syl, Dalinar(Dalinar again, but that didn't count), and then Kaladin. Oof. Poor Kaladin, Syl dies first? Horrible. Here's the thing: Sanderson has made a sad habit of hurting Kaladin in some way in every book, and while I don't think it's becoming gratuitous, I believe that some people do. If Syl dies in this book, it'll rip Kaladin apart, potentially alienating readers. See chapter 104: Full of Hope () of Rhythm of War for evidence.
  9. "But I want to have eyes," he said. He slowly sat on the ground and had a quiet beginning-life crisis.
  10. So. No, this isn't about theories. This is about fate. So. Everyone, put a character who you are curious if they will die. I will input them into this website: https://pickerwheel.com/ And I will use the wheel to select four people. And these people will, undeniably, die in book 5. For sure. Foolproof. My person I'll input is Kaladin.
  11. Person: "Where's the other [Shallan]?" Me: "I don't know. Am I the other [Shallan]'s keeper?" (This is sort of context, but there's someone else in my school with the same name as me. My real name goes where Shallan is in the real quotes.)
  12. @Cinnamon you're awesome! Very friendly, and just really really fun to be around! (and you've responded to my story which helps )
  13. Gone stared, disturbed. He reached up to feel his eyeballs. "Is that possible?" he asked, deeply concerned.
  14. Ohhh your member title! I love that song.

      I also love it!!

It's the first song I slow danced to with Luna, so it's SUPER important to me emotionally :DDD

  15. Am I a wacky little gremlin?
  16. Okay, but where did this concept of a Scadrian Waffle Cook come from?
  17. Hello there, lurky friend! Glad to have you.
  18. Everyone makes mistakes. I'm really sorry that that happened, but I'm sure your friend won't be angry. And if they are... well, you didn't mean to miss it, and they shouldn't be angry. And remember you're always loved!
  19. Thank you!!! This is like, super prolific writing for me? I'm getting to the point where I'm seriously looking forward to writing? Makes me happy! Aww, thanks! Looking forward to it.
