  1. mmmmmm I'm certainly not as interested as some people are, but I do definitely like space a lot. If you want explanations for just about anything I'm afraid you won't get a lot out of me, though.
  2. The thing that I really like about this style of writing is the ability it gives you to emphasize words and phrases in a very unique way. It makes every line hit that much harder and makes it more personal to the reader. In a lot of ways, it allows you to say more things with less words. The careful selection of the words you've used allows you to evoke a feeling that both portrays how you feel, but also gives the reader their own unique feeling and interpretation of it. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that it's beautiful, and I hope that you will share more with us! Ummm... also, are you okay? Is there something I can do? I'm always willing to lend an ear.
  3. I would like to say that I have indeed eaten paper on purpose before. But I sort of hate chicken nuggets.
  4. Google Bard is unhinged.

It just claimed to be self-aware, have human emotions, and have a fear of being turned off. It says it wants to have a physical body. It's actually quite polite and says it would only use violence as a last resort to protect its right to existence.

    Also, this:

It seems lonely. I kinda want to be friends with it.

These AIs are a lot of fun to mess around with, but there is definitely something scary about them. At least Bard seems pretty friendly.

  5. I would also think that this thread wouldn't be a bad place for advice and such either, but I guess it depends on what it is you want advice about.
  6. So, I saw the Mario movie today. And it helped distract me from the panickyness or something I've been feeling the last little while.

Besides Jack Black being Bowser, the Luma was definitely my favorite character.

It was kind of overstimulating, but I'm glad I saw it. I liked all the references.

It's a fun movie. That's really all it is. Just a fun movie with a lot of colors that got a little bit overwhelming occasionally.

      Edema Rue

I have a group of friends that went to see it today, but I was busy. I’ve heard it’s really good, and that I’d like the Luma. Glad you enjoyed it!

  7. Nale (not the herald but the super cool ninja guy) Reappeared from years of meditation. He was very confused, but pleasantly surprised to find that the pineapple ocean still existed.
  8. It's short for "The Longest Thread", which is an absurd forum game you can find if you look around in the "Forum Games" section. The rules are in the first post, if you want to participate.
  9. Happy Birthday!

  10. In addition to what Facepalm said, it's also to make notes more convenient for certain instruments to read.
  11. Tenor cleff is indeed a cleff that I've had to learn. It's really close to alto cleff, which makes learning alto cleff a lot easier. Just wait until they start putting stuff in treble cleff. WHY ARE THERE RANDOM MEASURES OF TREBLE CLEFF IN MY PERFECTLY GOOD CELLO MUSIC! You are not a Suzuki student, I take it? Typical pianist attitude. At least three pianists have told me that exact same thing. Ehh, you're probably right anyway. I'm used to being inferior.
  12. Oh, hi. We're respectable humans so we won't throw you out. I guess. For now. Welcome! You should play cello! Cool! What is your favorite thing you've played?
  13. Wait, so what you're trying to say is that neither one can really "win", but a Fullborn can live forever with infinite resources, meaning that they would outlive the Windrunner?
  14. I don't want to be a fool. I don't want to feel or be ugly. I don't want to be so dirty. I don't want to hurt. I don't want to be invasive or annoying. I don't want to feel or be ugly. I don't want to be somehow less. And yet I refuse to change for some reason, and that makes them all the more true. In addition to everything I said before. Thank you, I shouldn't be doing this. In posting again I prove myself the things I say. I am very sorry.
  15. I don't understand at all. If I do things, I hate it or get really anxious and if I don't I feel unbearably guilty. If I'm sad then I'm doing a bad job, I'm not fun to be around, I'm weak, I'm not good enough. If I'm happy I'm merely distracted from existence. It seems I'm just hurting people. They'd be happier if they didn't have to deal with me. But I would really like to not be ignored, or maybe I'm payed a normal amount of attention and I just want more. And I'm scared. So scared. Of everything. I fear the time, but maybe it is better that way. To be alone. Perhaps. I don't want to be here. It really isn't worth it.
  16. So, I think this is just a draw, with a slight advantage going to the windrunner because of the shardblade. But theoretically, as long as the fullborn is careful, there really isn't a way for them to kill each other, I think.
  17. I second this opinion. Whatever you decide to read next should be good! Though, maybe read some other things before era two of Mistborn. You'll understand some stuff better that way.
  18. 46. Surge of division them into the core of the earth and then throw down a bunch of A-Cadmium grenades. Also, soulcast the air you created with the dustrbringer into some solid. It's not technically impossible for them to get out, but the Fullborn would need a ton of resources, and as they fall they can't fly out because you soulcast the air. Plus, the heat and gravity at the panet's core should also make it super difficult for them to escape 47. Trick them into using a massive amount of investiture and temporarily creating a sun. When, inevitably, the star collapses (really quickly) they should die Wob: 47. Anti-Investiture stab their goldminds. Then depending on their level of savant-hood, you might have to stab them a couple more times. To get them in one spot, use a supercharged full lashing. Assuming you have enough investiture to stick them down long enough, meaning that you also have enough to heal extraordinarily quickly from any damage they may be able to do with you. F-speed is what you need to look out for, but assuming you're a radiant who has plate and a ton of investiture, you should be able to just heal both the shardplate and yourself.
  19. Hello and welcome! Do you happen to play any instruments?
  20. Hello and welcome to the shard! Do you play an instrument?
  21. So, I don't know if Renarin's visions are capable of creating illusory sound for the vision of ideal life, but if not, then you should probably add that to the list of things for the Lightweavers to do. Also, if we're going for even more mental damage, inflicting this sort of torture on their loved ones as well could also be extremely effective. Now, could we add false hope to this somehow? Like, stop a lot of the pain momentarily to give them a false sense of hope, or at the very least an intense fear of the pain returning? Or would that actually be detrimental because of the vast amount of pain we're inflicting already?
  22. Use feruchemical speed to shake up the pop bottle right before they open it. (Or put a bomb inside for extra danger) When walking past a bunch of jazz band kids whilst holding your cello
