  1. So he sold his other soul to Nameless to get even more powerful ceiling destroying powers.
  2. Franklin went and destroyed every single ceiling in the thread.
  3. Steve's younger brother, Franklin, was currently preparing a secret plan that would let him destroy the ceiling. He thought destroying walls was boring, and the floor was too easy.
  4. Who had been wielding a very large ninja star that had to be carried around by a tractor.
  5. Gets a post-apocalyptic Earth. Inserts a vague Interstellar reference.
  6. Granted, you can now transport yourself by pulling yourself along the ground with your arms. Your bane is you have no legs. I wish it were tomorrow. (Tomorrow meaning the day after the day I wrote this.)
  7. Bookwyrm declared the results fair, as no illegal narration had been used. He then asked Thaidakar again for a list of beskar alloys and their compositions, because Thaidakar didn't hear the first time.
  8. Emotions warred inside of Kalan. Sorrow at the loss of his friend. Confusion about why he seemed so much less hostile towards him. Fury that this Starbreaker- no, the Starbreaker-would murder his comrade and then dismiss Kalan without a second thought. Fury won. Kalan screamed, and charged at Kevlin. He fired a single shot that hit the rebel leader dead in the face. Kevlin survived, of course. As Kalan got close enough to strike, Kevlin's mechanical arm shot out and grabbed Kalan by the front of his uniform. Kalan was slammed into the ground. His breath was knocked out of him, and he stared dazed up into the sky and at the warship hovering overhead. "Look, kid," Kevlin said without looking at him. "I can tell that you're a little more sensible and open minded than most other people in the army. So I'll tell you this." Kevlin turned his gaze on Kalan and stared at him with one piercing blue organic eye, and one ominous red mechanical one. "Stay the lights out of my way, and I might just let you live." Kevlin then jumped. Somehow, he flew much farther than any person would ever be able to on his own, most likely due to his mechanical legs. The force of his jump, plus his mechanical parts, somehow let him drill a hole through the hull of the warship. Kevlin disappeared inside. When Kalan finally caught his breath, he ran.
  9. Wait.....do you mean Keeper as in, you own them, or Keeper as in, you are a full Feruchemist and you have the WoK Leatherbounds in your copperminds? 10/10
  10. Kalan's eye's widened. "Tahra's Skull!" he exclaimed out loud. "What is it?" Paul asked, but then his face paled as he saw the rebel running across the battlefield. He clearly took another direct hit, and once again came out of it completely unharmed. "Send word," Kalan said, turning to a nearby soldier. He wasn't one of Kalan's own, but someone needed to tell someone higher ranked. "A seemingly invincible Starbreaker is approaching our position! I don't know what he's planning, but it can't be good. Go!" The soldier saluted and ran off. Kalan handed the spyglass back to Paul, then unslung his rifle. "Wait," Paul said as he tucked the spyglass in a pouch on his belt. "What are you doing?" Kalan loaded his rifle and made sure it was ready. "Someone has to at least try to stop that maniac," he said. "I don't have time to find the rest of squad seventeen. Are you coming with me or not?" Paul smiled and drew his sword. I really do hate fighting, Kalan thought to himself as he began to run towards the invincible rebel. But, if that's what the Queen commands....even if it makes barely any sense.....
  11. Wow, your house....certainly has a lot of frogs in it. What the-why didn't you tell me this sooner?! This changes everything! Quick, change course! The aliens are in trouble!
  12. Welcome to the Shard! Many of us came here for the same reason as you: no real life Sanderfan friends. I'm slowly getting a few people to read them, but it's always nice to talk to people who are already as obsessed with these incredible books as you, even if it's online. We can't wait to hear your theories and ideas!
  13. Bookwyrm watched very carefully to make sure none of the tools Thaidakar and Nameless were using had been conjured using illegal narration. He also asked Thaidakar for a list of Beskar alloys and their recipes out of curiosity, wondering if any of them were Allomantically viable.
  14. Ah, yes, thank you for acknowledging that.... I mean, it might have worked if they had somehow survived and gotten to continue working together, or if they had somehow met earlier and had spent months or years wokring together. But based on the characters and how much time was given, that scene was handled perfectly.
  15. Who needs memories, anyway? When someone hands you a bead of Lerasium.
  16. I forgot if I mentioned my Mistborn re-read on this thread before, but I'm currently on Shadows of Self. (It took me one day to read all of Secret History, and then the next day I read all of Alloy of Law.) I had forgotten how epic the ending of Hero of Ages is. I'm not going to say anything spoilery because I don't want to go into a huge discussion about it, (I made a status update about it, though) but that ending is truly satisfying and incredible. My re-read is to get ready for The Lost Metal, of course. Aside from that, I still need some new books to read afterwards, so let me know if you have any good recommendations.
  17. Rouge One is incredible. I love Star Wars as a franchise, and the way it sets up A New Hope is amazing. It basically took a sentence or two from the opening crawl of that film and made a whole movie about it. And that movie is perfect. The characters are great, the story is great, and it just overall expands and adds to the rest of the franchise. So many things that are only mentioned briefly in A New Hope suddenly become relevant and meaningful. I don't see why it's controversial. Rouge one is an incredible film.
  18. That bloodmelon flew out of the sky and hit me in the mouth! .....Wow, you are way less prepared for this than I thought you were going to be.
  19. "Well, I'm stumped," Bookwyrm said as he sliced through a few more skeletons. "I can't think of anything that would get us out of here." Bookwyrm tried burning Electrum to see if his Electrum shadows revealed any hints about what he could do.
  20. Haha, yes. Always. Always more people. Make them all Sanderfans. I recently got someone to read Mistborn for the first time, and she's hooked as well. We must continue expand our ranks. You know you're a sleep deprived Sanderfan when you stay up way too late alternating between trying to read Shadows of Self and getting distracted by random stuff on the Shard.
  21. I might ask you some things. I just don't know how relevant they'd be. I mean, I started one, and @The Wandering Wizard asked me upwards of thirty questions, so the same might happen to you. Then again, my AMA died after a few days (weeks?) so I don't know whether or not it would be worth it in the long run.
  22. Oh, I'm a Gyorn now. ....I forgot what a Gyorn was. (Some political figure from Elantris, I'm pretty sure...)
