  1. The troll that had uncurled gasped in horror when she realized that all of her fellow trolls had been petrified into rocks many years ago by an evil spell.
  2. Nin's Apprentice attacked him with his R.C.M.K and his R.K.M.B. (Nin's Apprentice had been practicing his unconventional dual-wielding.)
  3. This caused the theater to explode dramatically after a few minutes.
  4. TOE, who had never read Mistborn, didn't realize this.
  5. Except for TOE, who had left to go watch the Mistborn movie.
  6. "Every one of my children got stable jobs and are living happy and successful lives," Joe continued. "You're a monster, Steven." TOE bought a ticket to watch a movie.
  7. Steven began to cry. TOE walked over to the concessions stand and bought a large popcorn.
  8. Joe asked Nin, Nin's Apprentice, and TOE if they wanted to watch a movie.
  9. When they entered the theater, a friendly employee greeted them.
  10. This unexpectedly caused the dome of crackling energy to harmlessly dissolve into confetti.
  11. Did you know that cucumbers are actually fruits? How is that good news?! That's terrible!
  12. I think Thaidakar once referred to me as Wyrm on TLT. If I had to have a nickname, it would be that.
  13. "I thought Silhouette was hosting it," Bookwyrm said. Meanwhile, Nin, Nin's Apprentice, and TOE were angry that their quest had been put on a back burner in favor of narrators planning a party.
  14. I beat the game a few days ago. (It's kind of scary how much of my time that game ate up....) The story is incredible. I don't feel like going very in depth, but it was incredibly well written, definitely on par with the rest of the Xenoblade series, while still achieving a perfect sense of originality. The gameplay is also incredible. The combat is smooth and fun. The world is breathtaking, and huge. I'm still finding hidden side areas that I completely missed. And.... (Spoilers for the epilogue and stuff that's unlocked after the game, so don't read the spoilered stuff below unless you've done those.) The characters in this game are very relatable. They're deep, and they change and grow just like normal people. I found myself attached to some of these characters more than I had in any other ones. Taion is probably my favorite; I relate a lot to him in many ways. I still need to get to know most of the Heroes better, though I have unlocked all of them. This is probably my favorite Xenoblade Chronicles game. It was incredible, and perfectly ties up the two worlds represented in the previous two games. Though..... (Epilogue spoilers) EDIT: And, uh, @Shard of Reading? I rescind my prior statement. You're actually going to want to play them in chronological order. You will completely see why by the time you finish all of them.
  15. "Wiz"? Nicknames are weird. We're going to have to start calling you "Sil" if this keeps up. Also, Victory!
  16. "Don't you mean page 2022?" Bookwyrm asked. "Because I don't think TLT actually has a consistent calendar, timewise...." To prove his point, 8,889,207 years suddenly passed in three seconds.
  17. Which was the cinema. Adreus had been there last Tuesday.
  18. My friend finished Well of Ascension today. And by "finished", I mean "started before the half way point and reached the end in one day." She has the insane reading speed down....

Anyway, she told me about how her mind was reeling by the end, and I had to explain to her that she needed to get used to that, because at this point, every major Cosmere novel leaves you with a reeling mind the first time you finish it. I also explained what a Sanderlanche was.

So, another person is slowly but surely solidifying into our ranks as Sanderfans.

(And her dad started reading Mistborn too, so yet another potential Sanderfan is on the way.)

Excellent job. We must convert more. My sibling seems to be... immune to my attempts. I will work on that.

  19. As Kalan continued to think about his encounter with Kevlin, the more confused he grew. Why hadn't the Starbreaker leader killed him? He had said something.... I can tell that you're a little more sensible and open minded than most other people in the army. What on Riladi was that supposed to mean? Kalan continued to think. And, inevitably, his thoughts were drawn to Paul. Paul. His friend. Who was now dead by the same hand that had started this war. Lights....I hate this. Why do we have to fight? Why do I have to fight? I'm just getting hurt and losing friends. Why does this have to go on? Why can't it all just stop? He looked over at the Shalari flag on the wall of the tent. A white starling silhouette on a light blue background. The symbol of the country, and of the Queen, who commanded the war to be fought. Of the Queen, who sent soldiers to their deaths. A single tear ran down Kalan's cheek. Paul.....May you be received well above, as Tahra was in ages past. A simple prayer, one that was common in the minds of those who lost friends. Another tear came down his face. That burst of red light....that broken sword.....he had completely vanished. There weren't even any remains to return to Paul's family. And that's when it hit him. Lights.....how am I going to tell Lylac?
  20. And so the Eizards let Nin, Nin's Apprentice, Steven, and That One Elephant (AKA TOE) go.
  21. Steven, who had no idea what a spren was, didn't even notice.
  22. By dragonrider to you mean, in general? Or are you referencing a book series I haven't read yet? I'd like some clarification before I answer this. Sorry. This is going to be some kind of science. I really enjoyed Biology, and Chemistry, and I have yet to take Physics, which might turn out to be my favorite of all. But as Astronomy is by far my favorite scientific field, on that fateful day in which I get to take Astronomy, that will likely become my favorite school subject. Most likely nature.
  23. Steven, who had never visited Roshar, was very confused.
  24. Bookwyrm appeared to briefly inquire if the Nin in the party was in fact the Herald Nale, which the Shin folk knew as Nin.
