  1. Didn't actually take that into account. A possibility but I have been working off the assumption the Skybreaker we see is a singer. With the ascension of Retribution, spren, especially for forms of power, are no longer bound to Roshar. We even see Rushu beginning the domestication of lesser spren. Maybe they can be brought during a migration of some sort. It could also be possible that they could bond with other cognitive entities if they are "native" to more than one planet.
  2. I'm noting the omission of singers in Chrysalis's list (trying saying that five times fast). Do they fall under human, are they now somehow immortal, or since human and Sho Del are found on multiple planets could singers and true Vaxilians be the same. Assuming you mean Silverlight Nexus: Yolen as mentioned, Vax seems like a good guess, and I'll throw in Mythos to round it out. Not sure if it is of note but the Rosharan subastral map shows three different nexuses: Imagination, Truth, and Transition.
  3. Generally liked the novel. Some of the dialogue felt a bit forced and few paragraphs didn't segue that well but otherwise a good read from a readability slant. I miss the original dynamic from the 2020 reading where Dusk did not know about Tenth the Finder. It felt perfectly in line with his character but I understand why it needed to change for this story. Not sure all the changes were smoothed out. There is some question now on the status of the mainland. One thing I wish didn't get glossed over was the surviving Scadrians. It's just mentioned in the epilogue that Xisis sent a ship to get them but I wish we had further interactions, maybe with Saja or some form of closure for Leonore.
  4. Oh this is interesting as if it is a pseudo hybrid shard.
  5. Interestingly enough the "can't kill a god, but can defeat in other means" is echoed in Horneater culture as we see with Cord trying to trick the Sleepless. It's a rather common cultural hero mytheme in many real world mythologies but it is interesting that both of these cosmere cultures are heavily influenced by Polynesian culture. We have examples of cognitive entities being rather susceptible to short-term perception such as the Nightmares and Midnight Essence. The Type 1-6 Threnodite entities share many aspects with them but souped up so Cakoban also being souped up might be all that's needed. "Giants of Epelli" seems to be some other Shardic clash or a contest of champions which could have interesting implications for the timeline, especially if it was something that happened during the migration. I wonder if the shooting star is meant to be Autonomy since we know she heavily invested main system's star and has a magic called starmarks. One of the big take aways for me is that the timeline of the myth as told by Frond doesn't match up with Dusk's dream. Dusk's dream implies to me that they only encountered what would become the Dakwara after having settled First of the Sun and not during the actual migration.
  6. There is also implications for the deep history timeline with some of the elements of the Cakoban myth. The "giants of Epelli" could reference Aona and Skai but that would then contradict the wob about them being splintered before Ambition or somehow the original Eelakin migration started before Ambition's splintering. Alternatively it could be a different clash between Vessels like Rayse and Tanavast (although they didn't both die) or Vin and Ati (although that seems rather late in the timeline). Less useful is if it refers to an as of now known contest of champions. That these are called "giants of Epelli" in the myth but Ambition is alluded as "a distant god" could imply contest of champions rather than Shards.
  7. I think it's Aona and Skai (although that seemingly contradicts the timeline given in a wob). Alternatively its a different clash between Vessels but those also have issues: Rayse and Tanavast didn't both die; Vin and Ati seem to late in the timeline. Least helpful would be if its just some unknown other contest of champions and the fact these are called "giants" while Ambition is referred to as "a distant god" could imply that. I think the bit about Cakoban making them fight is him as a cultural hero being attributed some stuff he wasn't actual the cause of.
  8. Yeah it's hard to tell if this just acts like 3rd heightening or UV/IR and beyond
  9. I know. Not trying to be pedantic here, just giving extra context here about actually also being bitten on the first day but it not applying to this situation. It's capitalized once before in that chapter (near the bottom of page 339) and once again in chapter 60 (midway on page 435). In all three instances Dusk is directly addressing Chrysalis; it is uncapitalized when occurring outside of his thought quotes. Less a typo and more an omission but potentially intentional Chapter 46 (again) page 350 Singers left out on the list of mortals. Might fall under human, might fall under Vaxilian, might be immortal now, might be extinct? Might just be outside the scope of Chrysalis's experiences. Chapter 30 bottom of page 206 Unless there is an aspect to Iriali historiography we are missing, "Old" should be capitalized as in Late Old English and 3000s is ambiguous to either sometime in the decade between 3000 and 3009 or anytime within the whole 3rd millennia.
  10. Technically she was also bitten on the first day as revealed in chapter 44 but chapter 57 is from Dusk's perspective so it moots and this should be stung.
  11. Okay then. Pulled the trigger and only added it to the applicable cover galleries.
  12. Their logic in their first comment being no action needed or the logic in the second comment being at least add book covers of anthologies/collections/omnibuses and having a later conversation on the topic once there are more cases?
  13. The Frugalverse (which we already have a page for: https://coppermind.net/wiki/Frugal_Wizard_Multiverse) would subsume the Cytoverse, Alcatraz, Reckoners, maybe Rithmatist, etc as being either higher or lower on the "stream". That's how it would make it easier. Not sure how that would change anything? I assume the potential non Brandon cosmere novels would be covered here just as detailed as the Brandon ones.
  14. This would be easier if Brandon just made the Frugalverse but I understand his reluctance to go full multiverse with his alt Earth properties
  15. I mean going by name I'd say Coppermind should have been for WoBs and Arcanum for encyclopedic content but that's off topic (it is a shame about how categorization is affected though) so Chaos do you have an weighing in on adding Three Fantasies or and if yes how so?
  16. It is a weird niche case. I only found out about it looking for clean versions of the art used in the 10th Anniversary Edition of Elantris. I could at least upload this cover and add it to the galleries for Elantris, Emperor's Soul, and Warbreaker for now until a consensus is reached on how else to handle them.
  17. While looking to see if it was already on the Coppermind I did come across this: https://coppermind.net/wiki/File:Emperor's_Soul_Legion_Twofer_Cover.jpg. So it seems like some policy needs to be put in place. PS Having looked at that other cover it seems Stephen Leeds is on the cover of the Cosmere only collection as well? Weird.
  18. Should this publication be added to the Coppermind: https://www.gollancz.co.uk/titles/brandon-sanderson/three-fantasies-tales-from-the-cosmere/9781473211087/
  19. Fair take, either way we will most likely get more info on potential Darkside media as Brandon works through the White Sand prose (boooo hisss /s).
  20. I actually get the opposite impression from that WoB as it seems to just be reiterating this one: But agreed that everything surrounding potential Darkside media and what form it would take is uncertain, much to my dismay post buying the omnibus.
  21. In the potential cosmere section under White Sand we have "Second set of White Sand graphic novels" and under Additional Cosmere stories by Isaac Stewart we have "The Arcanist featuring Khriss". Are these not the same work and if so should it be mentioned twice in the list? Which section would take precedence?
  22. Aethernalsium as a joke one somewhere
  23. I am a mod over at the Assassin's Creed Fandom wiki and this is generally how we do it (scrollable, release order, media or dlc level). We include templates for first mention vs first appearance, mentioned only, indirect mention, non canonical appearances, or other context for their appearance such as if it is through IU artwork only.
  24. Yeah I am more familiar with Fandom mark up text such as <ref>...</ref> rather than what is used here. But yeah waiting makes sense, just painful.
