My ministerial certificate has arrived, so I guess it's official, I'm off to join @Frustration, @Medium, and who knows who else as a missionary next week.
I will get set apart between sessions of GC on Sunday, so after a quick goodbye SU you won't see me for 2 years.
@The Bookwyrm will be receiving my emails and can pass on updates if he pleases until he gets his call. Otherwise, my brother @Lego Willshaper can tell you, if he ever logs on.

Well, apparently I'm getting kicked out of my bedroom because my brother is too heavy a sleeper and my mother doesn't know how to listen to people.

I want brandon and dan to talk more about their missions and the church and everything. Even if they just accepted invitations to be guests on a different podcast.

They transfered the elders in my ward out and let's just say I understand why converts and friends of the missionaries get upset when missionaries transfer.
Why couldn't they wait just one more transfer when I'd be gone.

Tomorrow I get to go to Institute for the first time. I'm super excited cause I'll finally have something to do and the teacher of the second class (the do a class, dinner, and another class on tuesdays, and a class and lunch on fridays at my campus) is super awesome, I love every lesson he teaches. And, I have one friend who'll be going with me, and hopefully I can meet some cool new people (although they might graduate by the time I get back from Cali.
On a funny note, I got some red marks on my neck from who knows where. My mom looked at them cause she was concerned and said they looked like hickeys. As a reminder, I am two weeks single, I leave in less than 50 days, and I'm still emotionally recovering. I think that's a little ridiculous of an assessment, but maybe you guys will see it differently.

I don't know which is worse about a breakup. The fact that everything reminds me of her or the fact that I lost the one person I could really talk to.
I miss telling her about my day, I miss the silly little commentary we have throughout the day. I feel so lonely without her and even though I try to replace all that time by talking with my other friends more it doesn't help.
Even worse, I've been so busy lately and now I finally would have had more time to hang out with her, instead, I have more time alone with my thoughts and nothing to distract me from her.
I know that we needed to break up, for both of our sakes, but it hurts so bad.

I am delighted to be called to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the California Anaheim Mission.A few fun thoughts, My grandfather served in the California South Mission when he was about my age. Over the years that mission has been divided into many smaller areas, but he spent a fair part of his time in the area that is now the Anaheim mission. My other grandpa served in the California North Mission. I feel very blessed that I already have this connection to the area and people I will be serving.I have been called to teach in English, which is a bit of a blessing itself. While the prospect of speaking in another language doesn't scare me, I am also not especially confident in my ability to learn the vocabulary of other languages.As it stands, I am excited to serve the Lord and also a little impatient. This means that eventually I will be saying goodbye to this community for two years, but it will be worth it for me.

Also, my school does delayed start on Wednesdays, and some students don't drive, so one of them got picked up solo by a full size bus.
