      THREE CHAPTERS OF THAID'S BOOK?!

*trips over self trying to get there fast enough*

do you want feedback and if so what kind do you take? credit, debit, or cash?

  4. Hmm. For Alloy, it isn't a bad book. I love it to death. It just does not have the same gravitas as the others in the series. Though, as I keep on thinking about it, it may climb my ranking lists as time goes on. For your argument, the transition to the Cosmere really only happens in TLM (in Mistborn era 2 directly). Yes, we had the cameos in the other books, but they were not a build up to the level we got in TLM. TLM we got full on crossovers with saying their names directly who were straight from the other books. Maybe I just have a sour taste in my mouth from how the MCU has been handled recently, but I just really want the big crossovers to be handled more delicately than in this one. It felt far too much of a coincidence that we had so many named characters and groups that we know in this one. (Sorry this took so long. I completely forgot to post.)
  5. I've put all three first chapters in the OG post. Rn I'm working on the outline of the story. I've been kinda shooting in the dark with the details of what I want to happen in the story. I've just had a kinda vague vision of what I want. Now It's coming together with a bow. It'll be pretty good when it's a full trilogy...
  6. Who the actual frick just gave me rep-

    im sad now

it was repping a reply to a guy who’s been gone for over a year- that awesome human being who I miss dearly… *sigh*

I remember them, I hope they come back...

  7.  But why can't the ideas in my brain, the instant thoughts, just appear on the page?

This is my life in a nutshell lol. I feel your pain. And good luck! Those stories can be so tricky.

Mine would probably look incomprehensibly messy if written directly from my brain to the page. However, maybe that would be nice! Putting words onto paper in of itself is hard sometimes.

  8. Yeah, I can see that. The last three really helped Steris. One of the things I actually liked on reread in TLM.
  9. Yeah, WoA is definitely the worst of the trilogy. However, I feel like the last bit was so storming good and there are just some moments in that book I will praise. Imo, TLM and Alloy are worse than this one. Alloy is a really fun book that doesn't really contribute anything while TLM barely adds anything to the characters and eradicates the proper sanderlanch. TLM, I would argue, is not a Mistborn book. It's a Cosmere story set in the Mistborn world. STERIS IS AWESOME. I love Steris.
  10. Happy birthday, Bejarden! I hope you’re doing well

  11. The weirdest thing that lets you know that you're a storyteller is when you're sick and your mind enthralls you in a weird storyline that you wake up sporadically for fifteen minute periods of time to think about, even though you don't want to and want to go to sleep.

It still enslaves you anyways to the endless cliches and weird capitalism plot lines.

    So that was last night....

  12. Which version of White Sand do you mean? Imo, the prequels had amazing potential, but George Lucas squandered his great story with bad dialogue and saying "We'll fix it in post." all the time. False. It's a great show with faults. Dave filoni made a few bad decisions, disrespecting other writers, but the night sisters arc is one of the best things in cinema. And need I mention Dooku in pajamas?
  13. I have, finally, seen Napoleon Dynamite.

    AND I HAVE THOUGHTS.

Pedro carried the film, if it can even be called that-

Uncle Rico deserves a few years in prison.

    That movie is so ridiculous.

    The wedding was hilarious.

ah yes, the movie that everybody but me has seen lol

      I'm glad you liked it!

I'm... not sure if I liked it or not.

My mind was a little preoccupied by the fact that I remembered last night how abysmal my grades have been...

ah okie . . . good luck with the grades thing! (I am currently ignoring some homework myself)
