  1. Could you ask if there is any correlation between the God Beyond and minor Shardworlds? Or, say, correlation between the God Beyond and his future novellas (excluding Emperor's Soul, of course.) Or the God Beyond's 'faction'. I'm sure you can think of a better way to articulate all that maybe. Or just go with the first question. I'd be extremely appreciative if you could manage an answer to this one question for me.
  2. I wonder if he'll include time dilation in during space travel. I sure hope so. It's neat.
  3. We're already looking at thirty years minimum before the entirety of the Cosmere will be complete. I love the Cosmere but I'd like to finish it sometime before I die, heh.
  4. Was that from the giant transcript that was recently... transcripted? There was waaay too much to sift through to read it all on my end.
  5. But PS4/XBone games aren't unversally 1080p with 60fps either. I prefer a PC as well due to the fact that consoles are inferior in that aspect, plus I'm not going to drop hundreds of dollars on a console that I don't care about for one game. And a lot of others are the same way.
  6. Whoa, someone else has read that book? Also I wanna recommend Revelation Space and its entire collection because it is some amazing hard sci-fi.
  7. Yeah. I can't even keep track of all the questions I've asked specifically.
  8. If he doesn't remember if he's said who it is, that makes me think it's either Nazh or Khriss. Khriss is the one working for Nazh, correct? Also where was the Book 5-6 gap length stated?
  9. Too much stuff because Steam sales. Gigantic Army and SpaceChem so far. The first part of Act 3 in Grim Dawn also released, and I pirated NaissancE; really enjoying that. It's interesting, for a walking simulator. Also replaying Tales of Symphonia on PS3.
  10. Forsaking freedom of speech is generally one of the sacrifices you make when frequenting a forum. I don't like it either but there isn't much that can be done with it. That's the fundamental flaw to message boards.
  11. Anti-social Personality Disorder involves lack of empathy. ASPD is the clinical name for sociopathy.
  12. Depends on where you begin counting time. If you mean from say, the beginning of the first Mistborn trilogy, then it certainly won't take "thousands" of years to achieve space travel.
  13. I think the fact that you've bothered to map out a basic rendition is neat. Not sure why so many people expect a full 3D accurate portrayal.
  14. I am fairly certain there is a WoB that says Adonalsium had an enemy. I'm sure somebody will cite it momentarily.
  15. Vin's fighting experience trashes Shallan in all totality.
  16. I wonder if the metallic arts are treated like a science down on Southern Scadrial. Maybe they're more common somehow but they're treated like a lot of drugs are treated in the real world.
  17. I hope that the big bad in the Cosmere isn't called something so terribly cliche like the 'Void'. Honestly, it would be neat if the God Beyond faction were the 'good guys' and Adonalsium (the entity itself) was a 'bad' thing.
  18. Criminologists can classify disorders however they want. Regardless, they would continue to be incorrect if they classify a disorder as something OTHER than what is listed in the current iteration of the DSM. Also, that is nothing close to a verifiable source. :-(
  19. IIRC, the DSM-IV only referred to it as sociopathy. It may have changed in the DSM-V but I'd have to scan through to check. I'll do that later tonight if I remember. If not, I'll triple-check with my professor tomorrow. In the meantime, feel free to list these "distinct medical conditions". First I've ever heard of that. Regardless of whichever form he has, he would lack empathy since he has Antisocial Personality Disorder which is where -pathy stems from. Super stealth edit: Actually yeah, the type of -pathy he has is redundant. He still has ASPD which removes his empathy. AFAIK, disorders in the Cosmere are still classified by real-world standards.
  20. There isn't really a difference. Essentially, different terms for the same thing.
  21. Kelsier wanted to save the skaa (and whomever else) from the tyranny of the Lord Ruler, which shows empathy, which rules Kelsier out for being a sociopath.
  22. I finally finished the main Revelation Space trilogy and the last side story in Galactic North (last RS story chronologically.) I loved it all. I'm currently reading The Prefect which is set in the same universe.
  23. Wayne's hats are secretly made of <whichever metal stores Luck> but in some magically super-malleable form. Dun dun dun.
  24. Fair enough. All I know/remember about the mid trilogy in terms of setting was the SWAT team/Mistborn killer/Nicrosil main char as well. I had meant it more along the lines that Southern Scadrial could be more advanced due to using different technology than the Northerners. Although if they're '80s-tier, they should theoretically have flight and would know of the Northerners and all of that. Tl;dr I don't even know anymore.
