First of all, it's awesome and I love it and I want to read more. It was a sad thing when I realized I'd gotten to the end of the snippet. And I think the formatting's good. It makes sense and doesn't break the flow of the story. This phrase feels very... modern Earth-ish. I don't think it's a problem unless someone's looking for it, but it makes the book feel a bit different. It's a bit like putting "OK" in a Regency book - something most people wouldn't notice, but that wouldn't fit exactly right. It's not something that definitely needs changing though. If you want, I can try to help think of or find good substitutes. If this doesn't matter, sorry for bringing it up.

Heyyyy, that happened to me too! It's Quarterfeather's fault that I know about and talked to (and danced with iirc) both of them. It was at the FSY kickoff in our area. (Neither of them were on the Shard, but one showed interest in obtaining access to Aether of Night.) (A girl can dream...) -

Edit: My character is a female-human called Chasm She has a Talent of healing faster than normal. As a result of her Talent, she doesn't get sunburns, colds, or rashes. Small scrapes (small being a few layers of skin, maybe some blood but not dripping) are healed within the day. In general, the slower the injury happens, the shorter it takes to heal. (Sicknesses heal faster than cuts.) She is part of the Air/Earth tribe and really, Really, REALLY likes practicing Air magic. She's not very good at Earth magic because she doesn't practice as much as she's supposed to. She's currently in Center City, as she's been apprenticed to a smith there (her third cousin once removed) so she can learn (to practice) Earth magic better. Her parents live near Keywood. @EmulatonStromenkiin Can you check and see if this works?

Therefore, since we aren't counting the Force as Investiture, the Mistborn don't have any connection to the Force and don't have any fragment of the Force in them and are somewhat like droids to the Jedi.

BTW the mods frown upon double posts You can edit stuff into your previous post, and the plus thing next to the Quote button lets you go do other things for a bit and come back and still have all your selected quotes
