What would that do exactly? Now the Spren are only imagined by Parshendi, that’s fine. why would pieces of sentient (or animalistic) investiture stop being created with 4 genders if there is still people who have those in their cultures

A friend of mine had a question so I thought I would ask it here since my answer was pretty weak. according to the Coppermind Profs weakness is “Failure and the fear of it” And the books say the reason the reckoners didn’t fight higher epics usually was because he was afraid to fail. So why was Prof able to fight Steelheart with his powers, woudnt he be afraid that he would fail and then everyone would die because of it? My answer was that his only job was to distract and its very hard to fail at that since, by virtue of attacking your fulfilling your mandate. Anyone have a better reason?

If you don’t want to buy it but want to read it, a good option I’ve always found is go to your local library and hope they have a copy. If you do not have a local library you could probably get a cheaper digital copy from Amazon and than by a physical copy when it comes out. I sadly don’t have any information an your initial inquiry Trust me it’s worth the read

You could be 100% right on this. But the world today especially in America is very unforgiving on these sorts of things. So Brandon as an author would have to take the safe route on this.

I agree on the “they” aspect of that. It’s pretty weird that one thing gets called a plural. But “it” is very dehumanizing (or desprenizing) as it makes them seam like they have no conscious of their own. The English language just doesn’t have a good word for a spren that doesn’t think of itself as human. Go figure

Also they know that Radients have spren. They also know that Spren can manifest as different things. It seems hard they woudnt put 2and2 together
