    I wanted it to have a pivot move that hit off its better Sp.Atk, I get it doesn't make sense. Yeah, it's also kinda boring, you know? Just making harder to kill. Dynamax is just so conceptually awful it's really hard to fix. 1/16th like most other passive healing (leftovers, Black Sludge), or 1/8 like most other weather-related healing (Dry Skin, Rain Dish). Swords Dance too, or Body Press, or both. Seems cool, I like it! What's your favorite mon and how would you improve it?

    You have no idea how much thought I've already put into this. So I'd start by buffing base form Meganium to this stat spread. HP: 110 Atk: 54 Def: 115 Sp.Atk: 100 Sp.Def: 105 Speed: 50 BST: 534 While I like ROM hacks buffing Meganium by giving it Triage, I'd personally go a more defensive route and give it Regenerator because it matches its lore. No second typing, 'cause the ones that make thematic sense only hurt it as a defensive Pokemon, which is a large part of what I love about it. New moves include Volt Switch/U-turn, Recover, Pollen Puff, Sleep Powder, Moonblast, Flash Cannon, Sludge Bomb, Steath Rocks, Rage Powder, Iron Defense, Body Press and Calm Mind. In all honesty, I think these changes would put it in Sw/Sh OU or at least UU as a slow, bulky pivot along the same lines as the Slowtwins. NOW Mega Meganium. I'd start by giving it new its new typing, Grass/Steel. Mega Evo's Ability is also Regenerator. Stat spread: HP: 110 Atk: 54 Def: 165 Sp.Atk: 120 Sp.Def: 130 Speed: 55 That would likely balance it more a good bit more, though to be honest I still wouldn't want it in Competitive Singles. Also, did you mean permanent for Gigantamax?

    Makes sense, solid stuff! You're quite welcome. Fair enough, but I personally don't think that's enough to warrant a resistance. On a separate note, have you tried Inclement Emerald? Also, 100th post!

    Probably a perfect diamond or emerald broam. Not the most useful thing ever, nor the most flashy, but it's far better decoration than, say, a Shardblade. Also less likely to get confiscated by the government for science.

    Hello. I am here to tell you to read The Wheel of Time. I know it's long, heck, I just finished A Memory of Light more than a year after I started reading The Eye of the World. But the last five pages, just the last five pages, are more than worth it. I can't think of a more incredible and satisfying ending of anything I've read ever. I genuinely don't think it's an exaggeration to say that these books changed my life, so if you can, read them. It's worth it.

      yeah, sorry about that, I haven't actually read lord of chaos lol, I barely made it through book four, I started book five but stopped, but from what I read in book five it seemed to actually be getting pretty good.

    I personally like Lugia's weird typing (no 4x weakness, a good number of great resists, main weaknesses being less common attacking types), and Multiscale is one of the reasons it's still known as "The Great Wall of Ubers". Sounds really cool, good ideas! One question. Why?

      My 'server' is on a free hosting software, so it needs to be booted up regularly and doesn't enjoy complying with 1.18 (as far as I can tell), so... we'll see how that goes

    A solid idea, but Specs Arceus also would most likely be running Earth Power (it's the only move it would ever need for perfect coverage), just predict a switch and that's a dead Groudon. Also I'd say Calm Mind Arceus is better as you really only need two attacking moves, so you can run Recover and Calm Mind instead of two completely useless moves. *Mega Kangaskhan flashbacks intensify*

    There was a Youtuber (WolfeyVGC I think) who suggested that Ice should resist Water and maybe Dragon, though I don't remember on the second one. Thoughts on Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (the real Gen 9)?

    Yeah, both were helped by Heavy-duty Boots' introduction, but Ice is an abysmal defensive type, so Articuno's defensively spread base stats are the main reason it's so bad. Huge Power? Guts? Sheer Force?
