Joined, like, literally 16 days ago (Holy shot 16. The god number of the Cosmere. What a coincidence) And yeah, I have been very active despite my late entry. What can I say, I'm a Sanderson nerd with things to say.

I can already imagine how it would go. Moash sneaks up on Kaladin, either by intention or accident, stabs Syl. Kaladin looks horrified as he feels her death. He turns to Moash, a look of betrayal and hate on his face. Moash would probably back up, scared of the look his former commander was giving him. (Also, slight issue I noticed while writing this hypothetical about killing Syl, you'd have to do it when she is out of shard form, which may pose a problem.

Not sure how much I agree, but yeah, keep going, these are interesting applications for tin to think about. Also, make a name for your group of Tin superiority.

Yeah, no, your theory seems fine.

How We Could Have Lost Brandon...

...Yes. -
... I'm confused, are you agreeing or disagreeing with me, I can't tell. Edit: You're probably agreeing with me, but I am typing this in the morning and really sleepy, so I can't tell right now.

My good man, you seem to have gotten the impression that I was upset. How ghastly! I was simply curious and also a little drunk/high/etc last night from some incredibly good news. Hope you have not gotten the wrong impression here. That would be distasteful. Now if you excuse me, I have some other posts to respond to.

Hello there. We seem to find each other crossing paths a lot. (I swear, I did not know you started this post.) Interesting theory that has quite a bit of merit to it. Would evolve Kaladin's character (Especially if Moash does it, imagine that) and would solve the oh so prevalent, "Kaladin is too op" complaint/issue in a satisfying way. If to does happen, do expect me to make a funeral video on Youtube for Syl. Now if you will excuse me, I have a pillow to cry into.

I imagined Plate as just gilded medieval armor, and swords similar to what this guy shows. Also, Retrac, you think you're the worst person on earth? FIGHT ME, slontze!

Off-topic like requesting people to not post things that are off-topic? Also, what the hell is off-topic? If we talk about Moash in any way, it is technically on topic, and I will make the argument talking about any character and the hate/love they get is on topic for this tread. And Yes, I did this both to annoy you and also ask a genuine question. It's called multitasking. Also, hello @Frustration, looks like your prediction that this is it's first necro was wrong. I thought you have been around for over a year. Get it together. XD Edit: Just realized that I might be coming off a little strong perhaps. If I am, feel free to tell me. Otherwise, I am CHAOS INCARNATE. and no, I'm not drunk.

A badly written and thought out SA x Magnus Chase fanfiction
Aspiring Writer replied to Illwei's topic in Sanderson Fan Works
Just because You're writing a fanfic doesn't mean you don't have to think it through. You can still have a slight idea of what you're doing when you set something up. At the very least, though, you made me think of what kind of fanfic I might write to I may live up to my name. Also, no, I'm not giving you emojis. I don't like emoji. Screw emojis. I can simply say the tone is more annoyed that I still don't have my Jack meeting Nightblood encounter due to your incompetence at planning! How dare you not plan it out in the space of two months! GIVE ME NIGHTBLOOD! XD -

Maybe you shouldn't have done that then and kept the magic systems separate if you didn't understand the implications of doing that. -
Can tin store perfect pitch and perfect color recognition
Aspiring Writer replied to Koloss17's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Animosity? My, good man, you seem to think I was annoyed at your post. I found it delightful. And yes, perhaps my theory still holds. Victory is mine! Thank you @Honorless you saved my hypothesis.- 25 replies

I don't believe you did. But if you did and I didn't notice, my bad. I just feel you make it appear that not killing the main characters is a crutch when it's a very delicate art that's hard to do right, especially when it's not crafted that way. Also, hope you're not too busy. You're fun to talk to. Actually... that's storming brilliant! (And yes, I actually used storming!) Szeth is probably the most honor-bound character in the entire story. He would make a perfect vessel for the Shard of Honor, though I'm not sure how that would work since Daliner is bonded to the storm father currently. Maybe he will die and the stormfather will bond with Szeth then? But Szeth is mostly a follower. not sure he would be the best choice from a leader perspective.

Police, justice and correctional system of Elantris
Aspiring Writer replied to Oltux72's topic in Elantris and Emperor's Soul
I think that either the Shaod picked people who were more benevolent on purpose so it wasn't necessary, or there were corrupt Elantrians. You act as if they would no matter what have laws against them when they were preserved as gods. I can imagine there being some corrupt Elantrians that might explain why certain people hated them. -
1. So an Eleantrian capable of using their powers anywhere? Pretty sure you can do that in many ways, but is one way of maybe doing it. 2. You can suppress your color aura even without a Coppercloud. Vasher does it in Sormlight Archives. So congrats, you can insert something more useful in that slot instead. 3. That's redundant. Windrunner can do a lot of a coinshot does My pick is steel runner and Elantrian, so that way I can make all the signs in a split second.

Sazed and combining the Shards
Aspiring Writer replied to ima willshaper's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I remember seeing a thread about this, too, but I also remember reading that is Sazed absorbed another Shard, it could have dangerous consequences. Also, what about splintered Shards? Can they even be absorbed? -
Can tin store perfect pitch and perfect color recognition
Aspiring Writer replied to Koloss17's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Okay, he has a point. My theory above only works if it is making a sense stronger, but it could also be enhanced perception ability, which is more of a mental capability. So Tin probably won't, if that's the case. Also hello Krager. Here we meet again. You couldn't finish your post a few minutes before I posted mine? Would've saved me the embarrassment. You know how that feels, right? XD RIGHT? #Assholerighthere- 25 replies

Can tin store perfect pitch and perfect color recognition
Aspiring Writer replied to Koloss17's topic in Cosmere Discussion
First off, Hello again! You seem to be really thinking about Tin. No worries though, I'm here to help. So, sight is a sense that can be stored. Remember Sazed having to wear glasses in Mistborn after finding Vin while filling his tin mind. So, "You need to see to use it." is moot. Second, I would say that this might work in a way similar to compounding maybe? if this is just an ability granted to you, then no, but if it actually enhances your senses, you could probably store that 'excess' sense into a coppermind which you could tap later. Think of it like burning tin and then storing the extra sense that tin gave you into a metal mind, except tin it's your heightening.- 25 replies

First off, impressive response time. I have to wait for @Frustration to respond to me about character deaths for hours. IAnd Yes, Frustration, I'm ating you. What are ya going to do about it (P.S, I'm a bit crazy today)) Also, so can Atium be another type of Fortune made physical then? One specific to Ruin perhaps?

@Bzhydack (Yes, I'm dragging you into this, too. All of you will be enlightened because I am a cremhole ( And yes, edited the an to an a so it would be correct grammar. Don't judge me.)) Pain isn't a sense. It the result of a sense. I think people have tin confused. Tin will only store the strength of a sense, so if your tapping tin, you would feel more sensitive to pain. However, this means you can store sense and come completely numb to all pain. You would not feel that pain later, as that's not what's being stored. There IS a way to do this though, and that's with COPPER. Coppermind's store memory, including the memory of an experience down to what you felt, which I can confirm in a line in Mistborn: Bands of Mourning for you people, because thank god my sister happened to not return the book. "He heard his own boots on the dirty rock, the wind blowing, and felt cold." - Wax after tapping an unkeyed Coppermind So no, Tin is not the metal you are looking for.
