  1. Hello friends, this weekend was even crazier than I had anticipated as lots of family decided to show up plus my school and stuff. Let's just sum it up with there were roughly 18,000 peaceful theological discussions, 2 heated theological debates, one screaming baby, 56 sweater pumpkins, an uneaten german chocolate cake, 300 eaten chocolate chip cookies, and the discovery of buying book marks in bulk.

I won't be able to do anything else tonight, however I promise I will get on tomorrow morning because... Columbus day school's off! Yay! (or indigenous people day depending on who you ask)

That's why I don't have school today!!! Thank you. I didn't know why.

  2. They are delicious, but only when cooked all the way through. One of my pet peeves is when people make doughy pancakes. I also love putting chocolate chips in pancakes, mmmm, so delicious. It has been many months since I have had a good pancake. When half my family had to go off gluton for health reasons, we threw away all the pancake mix and most of the flour to 'rid ourselves of all temptation'
  3. Fox sighed. It seemed so simple... yet, in reality, it had to be so complicated. Why did everything have to be so complicated? Fox would consent to the hug, though she would not collapse into it. Instead, she sort of took a step forward, and leaned in. "I will... try." Fox said quietly. Though a part of her, a very small part of her, wondered if this lengthy process would even be worth living through. It seemed that every step forward included two steps backward.
  4. I have returned. For tonight. Sorry I just disappeared for awhile, but life has gotten intensely busy, so it is likely that I will not be as active over the next couple of days/weeks/months depending on how things even out. ^_^

Best of luck, you can do it!

  5. Silent tears poured down Fox's face. At first she was enraged at Circe for calling her afraid, she wasn't afraid of anything! But then... Fox realized the brutal truth of those words. She... really was weak. Fox really was afraid of being rejected once more. No. No, she was in control of her relationships, she always was. She could manipulate the people into doing what she wanted them to do if she needed to... but she hadn't done that with Nath. Nath had been there for her even though Fox hadn't tried to make friends with him, Fox hadn't used any of her tactics on him. That would make when he rejected her even worse. Fox raised her eyes to Circe's for a moment, but when they met, some sort of wild panicked terror ripped through Fox, and so she lowered them. No no no! She would not be afraid of this! She would whip this fear into submission, like she always did, with pure stubbornness! But... it wouldn't go away. The fear turned to a sort of dread that felt like a hundred pound weight pushing on her heart. Fox hated herself. She hated herself for hating herself, which led to herself hating herself more. Why couldn't she just be a simple human being? Why couldn't her emotions just be resolved with the flick of a switch as it seemed to happen for so many? Why did life have to be so storming complicated? Fox finally spoke in barely a whisper, "But how?"
  6. Twix To be honest, I don't have a strong opinion on this one, but I'd probably have to go with puppies. I love kittens a lot, but I like playing with puppies better
  7. Guilt stabbed through Fox's heart from seemingly behind. She wanted so desperately to have this person's approval, but... she didn't know why. Fox was weak for becoming so attached. It was obvious that Circe would abandon her once she found out who the real Fox was... So stupid and rash, never thinking through what she ws actually doing, a flailing blumbering fool. Maybe that was why she had stabbed herself. Perhaps Fox had realized how useless she really was. Perhaps it would have been for the better if she had died, for everyone. In a calm voice that surprised even Fox, she spoke without meeting Circe's eyes, "You were wrong about me. I am a disgusting human being." In a swift movement, she slammed her hand into the wall. Whoops. Pain ripped through Fox's arm as she realized her mistake, and she let out a small whimper, before stubbornness took command again, causing her to clench her teeth shut and glare at her arm with severe fury.
  8. "May I ask who's calling?"
  9. I know this is late but... dang. Well done.
  10. All hail King Fred!
  11. Fox yelped in frustration when she got encircled by strange winds, but then froze when she heard Circe. Tendrils of shame began manipulating their way into her heart. Suddenly everything Fox had done seemed extremely childish. But these people, her mind argued, they were trying to hold her back. "It-it wasn't my fault..." she responded lamely. "They wouldn't let me leave!"
  12. Rubrum inhaled deeply at the word that had been released by Akii. Yes, this was truly wonderful, they were so close. But then, the girl's eyes fluttered close. Oh dear. That wasn't supposed to happen yet. This would be of some value to Rubrum, but it had had so much potential. Rubrum knelt down and felt for a pulse, there was one, though it was faint. That was very strange, Rubrum knew that this hadn't been enough on its own to knock someone out, but pain tolerances did differ. That would be something to note. Rubrum sighed, this was losing some of it's fun, though the sigh was interrupted by a thought and a smile. There was no such thing as a lost cause. Putting her scythe away, Rubrum picked up the girl with surprising gentleness. A few words were hummed, and Rubrum stepped through the fabric of space. This situation certainly had regained its potential...
  13. Oh my gosh yes. I am joining this, I love Calvin and Hobbes!!
  14. Yeah, sorry, I forgot to do day two and three, had to catch up on day four, but I didn't have time to upload until now : Day 2: Ribbon I made a windspren in the form of a ribbon for Fred. He is riding it somehow. Day 3: Squat Vin is indeed squatting, but I realized after I drew her squatting that the mistcloak would cover it, and then the mistcloak made it really ambiguous, so.... yeah. And Fred is present, you just have to find him! Day 4: Rhythm The idea was of Eshonai teaching Fred rhythms, but it turned out really bad. Can't say I didn't warn y'all: Day 5: Heavenly I am actually quite proud of this one, comparative to my other ink drawings. I free hand, and I was surprised how not horrible the mist turned out. So it's a mistborn flying in the night over the mists (with Fred on his shoulder)
  15. Fox eyes tried for a moment to focus on the person, it was sapping the energy out of her... yet she still found the strength to lift her head back and laugh with borderline insanity at this ridiculous claim. "You, here for me when I needed you?" Fox asked, barely keeping herself together. "That's a good joke." Fox added with a sting on that last word. Her mind was slipping back into thoughts of what happened, she was sorting through hundreds of possibilities about why she did what she did. The tape just seemed to keep playing over and over and over again in her mind's eye. Fox was angry, so... angry. This woman was underestimating Fox. This woman thought that Fox was stupid, because she tried to use such a ridiculous ploy. She must thing that Fox couldn't think for herself, and that she was naive and... weak. Fox was not weak. She would show this one. "I'm not weak!" She yelled charging with her knife again at the figure.
  16. “I don’t need your help!” Fox screamed back. @Channelknight Fadran @DramaQueen
  17. Fox felt something change, it seemed to be something about the air around her, and she heard… something from the person, but she wasn’t paying attention to them. Fox was still trying to pull at the sheath. Why wasn’t it coming off? AGH. What had this person done? Rage coursed through her as she tried using her whole body to get the darned thing off, but it only ended in her slamming herself against the wall. “Aaaaaagh!” She screamed in exasperation. “Why. Isn’t. It. Coming. OFF?!” Suddenly, Fox felt something new coursing through her originating from the knife. Something… something along the lines of…. Pure power. Fox’s knuckles curled, and her muscles went taut. Her eyes were wide open, she was covered in goosebumps, and she glowed softly. It was so invigorating, yet at the same time, it felt like it was overwhelming her, it was almost… painful. It seemed to be sprouting from the hilt of the knife which she held, it went through her entire body, but then, it seemed to leave her, back into the knife, or… the sheath. The sheath shattered. Fox blinked a couple of times, staring at the shining knife. What had just happened? What had her knife done? Regardless of what it did to the sheath, it had also given her a bit more clarity, though she was losing it fast. Fox raised her eyes once more to her opponent. “I will not allow you to be more of a prob-” she stopped mid-word. Where had the person gone? They seemed to have… retreated a few feet, looking quite unthreatening. “Wait, what?” She said, verbalizing her confusion.
  18. The head rolled on the ground, and Fox stabbed herself. It happened again. And again. And again. Fox just needed to sit and process what was running through her brain, but, ack. There was some sort of resistance to Fox's running, and she became aware of footsteps behind her. All Fox wanted was to go somewhere and think. She didn't really care what was going on. She didn't want to hurt anyone, she just wanted to be by herself. "Why can't you just leave me alone?!" Fox said in a high and loud exasperated voice, bordering on a scream, while turning to look at the figure and trying very hard to bring reality into focus. She was about to lung at the figure with her knife, but, it had a sheath on it. When had that gotten there? Fox pulled at the sheath, trying to get it off.
  19. A wonderful idea, I do believe. It is for him, after all. I will defend this drawing of Fred with my life. He shall be under my protection.
  20. The person still hadn't moved. They seemed to be using sad excuses to try to keep her from figuring out what had actually happened. "I don't have time for this." Fox said, frustrated. Since she was having trouble with mental processing, Fox decided to let her instincts take over. In a few extremely swift movements, Fox had the person in a choke hold, pressing the beautiful dagger against their neck. Though she gripped the knife tightly, the pain in Fox's hand caused her to grit her teeth. She should kill this person for getting in her way. They deserved it. They were trying to keep the truth away from her. The knife dipped lightly into the tender skin, creating a thin stream of blood. Fox stopped, looking at the blood, and her logic took over again. What was she doing? Fox removed the knife, and shoved the person down on the ground with a harsh strength, and made a bolt for the door. @Mist
  21. It is so, as the masses have demanded, I will draw a ribbon for Fred today. Perhaps I will try to incorporate Fred into all of my drawings
  22. Fred it is! Let him be known as Fred to all the peoples!
