  1. Why do the Ghostbloods even want Stormlight anyway? It’s only valuable as a light source and for Radiants. Maybe Stormlight is easy to convert to other forms of Investiture?
  2. Ghostbloods black marketing Stormlight? Wow. Regardless, there must be some way to bypass Connection barriers. We see Worldhoppers do it all the time. Even heavily invested ones like Galladon and Hoid.
  3. What do you think this man is here for? Study, as many Feruchemists are scholars? Spying on the royal family, particularly Gavilar, for Worldhoppers or a Shard? Perhaps Harmony sent him to investigate Odium. So many questions.
  4. This man could be a Hemalurgist: kalamitous_emoashions Have we seen any evidence of Hemalurgy on Roshar? And, as sort of an addendum, given the end of Oathbringer, was what happened to Jezrien Hemalurgy? Brandon Sanderson There are certain cosmere philosophers that would count it. I would divide it as two separate things that are using similar fundamentals... I wouldn't call it myself, but there are people who would disagree with me in-world. Have we seen evidence? I would say no evidence that is easily-- easy to pick out. kalamitous_emoashions But it's there? Brandon Sanderson Yes, there are people with Hemalurgy who have been to Roshar. I'm pretty sure they've been on-screen. Oathbringer London signing (Nov. 28, 2017) Emphasis added. However, this could refer to many, many people, from barely mentioned characters to high-ranking members of secret societies.
  5. I think that the Fifth Ideal is what allows Radiants to woldhop. By merging themselves with the Spren, the Radiant can take the Spren with themselves. Spren are naturally bound to Roshar, but the Fifth Ideal would bind them to their Radiant instead.
  6. This man is definitely a Feruchemist. He might be just a Ferring, he might be a full Feruchemist, or he might be using medallions. Regardless, nice find!
  7. I get that Endowment sends the Returned, but she seems to care a decent bit about her planet. Eliminating people who are trying to sow chaos and things can get a lot more stable. SA spoilers: Mistborn spoilers: I totally understand why, for plot reasons, that Shards don’t smite people. But it is possible in most cases, and it is an easy solution to many problems.
  8. Don’t get me started on why we haven’t seen Shards just smite people...
  9. I got equal Willshaper and Elsecaller scores. Not quite sure what to think about that...
  10. The reason more people came here than the anniversary is probably because everyone got tagged.
  11. I joined because of the theorizing. Whenever I had a question about anything in the books, the Shard was there. I figured I might as well join in. This place is amazing and the community is awesome.
  12. I just want to see Syl gamble. It is all I have ever wanted.
  13. Absolutely, yes. They call themselves the 4th shard.
  14. And then the Stormfather rumbles and the wall explodes.
  15. “To the Stormfather, your ground-shaking rumblings are why Oathbringer is still in the revision stage.”
  16. I have no words for my sadness. Although I am exited that Syl wants to take up gambling.
  17. Particular metals cause Spren to react in certain ways. Invested metals may not cause a reaction, with interference of the wires inside the already invested gemstone-imprisioned Spren. Or maybe they cause the same reaction as before.
  18. This would be very interesting! A siege would be very similar to the situation in Kholinar, though.
  19. Didn’t the Diagram actually try to make a Dustbringer? I remember reading somewhere, maybe in Oathbringer, that the Diagram recruited people with the right attitude and tried to attract a Spren to bond.
  20. Maybe Odium cannot see any signals from the Spren because it is trapped, and he thinks the Spren is fine.
  21. Or maybe they need a specific wiring cage pattern, a specific gemstone, a specific type of Spren, or any number of combinations of these.
  22. Or maybe even whatever kind of greatshell that lived on Aimia, I forgot it’s name.
  23. Maybe the Secretspren are trained to ignore the Fused.
