How would elim kills work with limited info elim teams? Have the kill role with one specific player, like a Coinshot?
-
Wait, I think I initially misunderstood AG as Anonymous Game. I'm assuming it's Anniversary Game? (Hmm, I see nothing next to Striker's name in the signup list ) So regular docs? Hmm, I wanted to see how games would go if elims knew only one of their teammates. This is just at its nascent stage though, I'll put out a proper format once I've got more things clear, and I'll ask for help then. I'll go check out LG41.
-
Hmm, I'd imagine they have plans for their passes. Time to check for the next AG. Yeah I can't decide on the factions. That's why I asked if there were any similar previous games. I was thinking about all against each other, with Straff Venture and Cett factions being semi-elim in nature. They don't get docs but they get to know the identity of one of their teammates. Either - A knows B. B knows C.... so on till Z knows A (but without PMs) OR A knows B. B knows A. C knows D. D knows C, and so on. Thoughts on this arrangement? Main reason is I want to have around equal number on players in each teams. So I'm a bit worried whether knowing even one of their teammates would give them an unfair advantage over Elend Venture (let's call them village). If it does, how to sort them? Give the village the same thing as well? If it is balanced, then I have to worry about kill roles. I can't have all the 3 factions with night (or cycle) kills. That's 4 kills per cycle which is too much. I'm thinking of having something like an automatic transfer steel flakes vial which shifts to another team after current use (it will also shift if they don't use it). So one faction will have a kill once in 3 cycles, but there will be 2 kills per cycle (including the lynch). Could this be a problem in the endgame where the team holding the vial would have an advantage? What do you think?

I was skimming the pinned threads, and there's some stuff about some special requirement to host non-Sanderson games. Is it so? I have a very brief outline for a Gentleman Bastards game. I'd like to know if I should continue to develop it or not. It will probably be a blackout game. I'm also planning a relatively normal 3-sided game (because blackout is definitely not the first thing I'd want to host) set during the Well of Ascension, the 3 sides being - Cett, Venture, Venture. Was a game with this specific setting played in the past?
-
Hello, welcome to SE! Check out the rules here. The best way to understand the game is go through some of them. Here's the thread of an ongoing game. Go through it to get a brief idea. There's also a spectator doc for a currently ongoing game which I'm sure @Orlok Tsubodaiwill be sure to provide. There's also an upcoming game to sign up for here once you feel you've got the grasp of it.
-
Wait, no. I meant it as you possibly could distinguish his elim-y actions from non-elimy ones. But that doesn't make sense since I'm taking only one game as the sample. Yes, but none of us have done anything solid to be "cleared", have we? Focusing on smaller group of players is what got us here. Clearing people is good when we have something to go on, we have nothing now.

I think it would have been extremely close if Pyro hadn't voted for himself. That basically gave everyone a reason to shift the vote to him. Straw voted for Mist though. Now that it's 10 players excluding me, there's 1 elim for every 1 villager so there's actually a very high probability of at least one of Fifth or Straw is an elim. I'll try to guess the elim team based on their interactions and actions in the thread splitting it into 4 cases - Fifth + Straw, Straw without Fifth, Fifth without Straw, and an elim team without Fifth or Straw. Case - 1: Fifth + Straw Well, there's no reason why this shouldn't be the case. Actually, I have a few good reasons to be suspicious of Straw: Straw played with Pyro as the elim team in the most recent MR. He should have, for all reasons, known that Pyro's action that caused suspicion were, at least to an extent, NAI. Instead, he was the one to point out the actions as weird and hammered in on him. I feel the Silber lynch would never have materialised if he did not turn his vote after my offer. Seeing a potential alternate to a Pyro lynch, he went for it knowing he could come back to Pyro in C2. If we had lynched Pyro in C1, elims could not come back to Lord Sil in C2. While setting up Pyro for C2, he also set me up using 2 reasons - my defence on Pyro and my vote on Sil, possibly setting me up for C2 or C3. Now obviously he can't attack me himself seeing as he voted for Sil, so here comes Eternum, and maybe Frozen Mint. More on Eternum later. If Fifth is involved in this, it makes sense that Frozen Mint is as well, seeing as he saved her 2 cycles in a row. Fifth and Straw defend me, while Eternum and Mint attack me, distancing them from each other. If Fifth + Straw is a team, they are using a unique strategy of agreeing on certain points (lynching Truthwatcher) and vehemently disageeing on some others' (Striker's lynch). Either Striker or Frozen Mint is 4th person of the team in the scenario, and I'm leaning Mint. Straw and Eternum attacked Vapor in C1 for being confused but quickly accepted the new player confusion. They could have easily understood that it was new player confusion before attacking her. Seems like distancing. Likely team: Straw, Fifth Scholar, Eternum, Frozen Mint, Vapor Outside chance: Striker, Ashbringer Case - 2: Straw Most of the points in Case - 1 still applies so I'd still keep Eternum. Frozen Mint is a different case though. I'd like to think Straw's high suspicion on Striker but no intent to vote is a proof of elim!Striker. But there Frozen Mint - Striker argument could go either way. One thing is sure, both are not elims together. Vapor would still be in the team due to reasons mentioned above. The fifth person, I have no clue. Could be Ashbringer or Devotary. Likely Team: Straw, Eternum, Striker, Vapor, Devotary Outside chance: Frozen Mint, Ashbringer, Case - 3: Fifth Scholar Likely together with Frozen Mint. Unsure of Eternum, but no reason why they should not be. Devotary likely not in this team. Unsure of Vapor. Probably Mystic Lotus could be a part. This is the only case where there's a likely possibility of Striker and Mint being on the same team. In C3, she could have known Fifth would try to flip to Vently, and hence voted on Striker as self-preservation. When Ventyl lynch became available, she flipped as well Fifth is unlikely to be an elim without Straw, so I'm unsure about the whole team Likely Team: Fifth Scholar, Frozen Mint, Striker Other possibilities: Eternum, Vapor, Mystic Lotus, Ashbringer Case - 4: None of the above Yeah, this is where all the reads go off. I suppose there could be an Eternum, Devotary, Striker, Vapor, Ashbringer, but... I just don't see it. In all the above cases, you can easily replace Frozen Mint with Striker, and add Ashbringer and Mystic Lotus for outside chance. I was a bit unsure about Eternum until their post: Yeah, I disagree with this. This honestly gives me the vibe that you're going for a mislynch here. There's no reason to not include Fifth and Straw and consider them as elim and try to analyse. A villager would try to include all possibilities here, and not just simply ignore villager-y players. Striker seems to be suspicious only for his reasoning against me, so if you believe his reasoning is fake/ false, then that should conclude in the thought that I'm village. Striker has not been involved in too much vote hopping. He's going too hard for him and Mint to be teammates, and he's backing it with votes at crucial junctures. Mystic's vote on me seems to be gut, and she seems to be a bit too focused on a single player for a large amount of time, aka me and Straw. She had her vote on me for the entire duration of C2 when I was up for lynch with Pyro. She had/has every intention of killing me. But I did find her flip to Ventyl odd, so I'm a bit unsure about her. Overall, that team is without connections to each other, or too many opposing connections to each other. Let me remind you that the elims do not need to distance themselves or have the need to bus because all they need is one mislynch. There's too little vote-hopping. There's barely any conversation between me and Vapor. And Mint, Striker and Lotus wanted to kill me together in the same cycle. Frankly, I think you could have found all this out if you were a villager. This looks like a misdirection from an eliminator. That team composition honestly doesn't make sense. I understand that my analysis has a lot of assumptions, and I could be horribly wrong but I feel we have to go away from what people are assuming as "suspicious" ( it's mostly one action that is overreacted to to make it seem like the person is sus) to what people are believe as "trustworthy" who haven't done anything exactly to gain the trust. Going after "suspicious" people got us here after all. If it's the our last turn, might as well take the risk. I'd be fine with lynching Fifth, Straw, Eternum, and Mint. I feel strongly towards Straw and Eternum.

Yeah this post ain't it. I've noticed you have the tendency to remain quiet until you get voted upon or someone voices suspicion over you, and when they do, you make up some quick post. Why do you think me and Fifth are a team? Because he defended me? I never noticed your suspicion on me till now, so if you weren't suspicious of me, you have no reason to be suspicious of Fifth. Also, people, I said "discuss" the possibility of elim!Fifth and/or elim!Straw. Not take my probe at a possibility and run at full steam (*sigh* which seems to be the story of the game so far). I don't want to lynch an actively helpful villager. I was hoping to offer Straw and see how a lynch between Straw and Fifth would turn out. I remember Straw telling he'd be perfectly fine killing new players within 2-3 cycles if they proved they were good enough in the elim doc on MR42, and that could make a good case of Straw pushing for the Gears elim kill. But after that post from Mist, yeah no. On that note, @Fifth Scholar I'd like to hear your thoughts on Straw. (This is possibly my last contribution for the cycle)

That.. is in direct contrast to the results we saw above, i.e. the two players who died for inactivity filter. More likely is the fact that they are letting the inactivity filter take care of inactive villagers. Hmm, the fact that you pointed it out makes it plausible for elim!you to point us in the wrong direction. But in case you're right, the player that would that mostly fit the description would be Mist. I really liked Vapor's call out "Why don't you post more? I know you could post more because you live with me." xD Shard of Reading would be apt as well but they have posted only in one cycle so the filter should take care of them this cycle is they don't vote. I do not like how Fifth and Straw are basically commandeering the lynches. It makes it very difficult to lynch them if they are elim since a lot of new players seem to trust them. While they are doing a lot of villager-y things, there is still no proof why they should not be elims. I also think random voting should be NAI for a game with inactivity filter. Since the players feel compelled to vote because of the filter but also want their votes to matter. That's probably why there's so much bandwagoning in the game. Alright so that's 14 players. Remove me and we probably have 5 elims among 13. Time to put the players into piles: Truthwatcher: Weird read on Gears, but not afraid to post about gut reads even if it makes them stand out. Votes for an inactive to avoid inactive filter. I feel this is better than a reason-less vote on the bandwagon as the way to defeat the filter. @The_Truthwatcher, can you post some reads now that Gears is dead?. Village. Eternum: Made helpful reads to the village. Not heavily involved in the voting shenanigans. Feels genuinely convinced I'm elim. Their post last cycle in response to my response does not seem like an elim backing out of a mislynch. Striker: Hmm, his lynch train seemed almost due to his reasoning for voting on me, which I do find weird like they seem to want to find reasons to lynch me (like the post about he mentiond he was "super suspicious" about, and after Straw explained, he still kept vote on my because of my posts since that post.) This could be honest tunneling like they claimed it could be, but the tunnel appears a little too narrow. @StrikerEZ, do you have opinions on other players? Frozen Mint: I'm even less convinced that she's elim after the Gears kill. So far everyone she suspected has turned up dead. She wanted to pressure xino in C1, had suspicion on Matrim in C2, and Gears by his association to me in C3, and all 3 were elim kills. I don't want exactly what this means, or if it means anything, but it's likely that she isn't elim. Feels Striker is village (because of his read on me, I suppose), but votes on him as self preservation, then changes to Ventyl. Feel like their reluctance to vote for me is more of an elim backtrack, but other points made in this post seems to cancel it out. @Frozen Mint, who is your prime suspect now? Mystic Lotus: Went TJ-Ventyl-TJ-Ventyl. Immediately votes upon me, do not give a proper reason. Flips to Ventyl after the analysis post. Flips back for no reason other than to promote train on me (more likely to build a train off 2 votes), flips back to Ventyl on the offer from Fifth. Hmm, they seemed dead set on having me, well, dead. Likely elim, but cannot be sure. @MysticLotus, do you still want me dead? Can you give reads on some other people you want dead? Mist: Likely a low lying elim. Vapor: I actually thought back since my last analysis which basically said "confusion genuine, it didn't look like they were getting help from teammate", but even so, Mist should have been able to give her some sort of idea to avoid such level of confusion. I now feel like it was orchestrated, the reply to the trap from Pyro "Teammates? You guys?" Hmmm, a bit too fake, me thinks. But again, I'm making this under the assumption that she had a certain amount of help from Mist before the game, so maybe this reasoning isn't valid. Unsure. Lahilt: Their vote on Striker was reasonable. They seem fairly fine. Their activity count is low, but that's not an AI judging from the LG. Ashbringer: I'll be waiting for the read post. So far, they haven't done any villager-y stuff. They did find Striker's vote odd as well, and my defence appropriate. They correctly thought Pyro flipping village wouldn't give an AI on me. Feels like he's being careful. Devotary: Gahh, it's so hard to get a read of her (hope the pronoun is correct?) posts. She's always posting stuff like "I can see elim!X voting elim!Y, but village!X would indicate less of elim!Y". Like she's always talking situational, and not taking a strong stance. She feels like the neutral 3rd party in a war waiting till the end to see the victor before joining them. @Devotary of Spontaneity, what are your reads on players' at the moment? I'm not sure if I've understood your posts correctly, so let me go back and read them to post again. Straw and Fifth Scholar: They are really giving off village vibes and everyone seems to trust them at this point, but I cannot help but feel like it's a "two pronged approach" from the elims. Straw seemed to favor Ventyl lynch (without actual voting ), but ended up voting for Striker. Fifth votes for Mint is reserved at how fast people took it up. He specifically brings up Truthwatcher (TW never voted for Mint). Straw supports TW lynch stating he's suspecting them for their reads on Gears (which I believe are genuine), and their find TW's vote on Sparkrunner confusing (when TW had clearly stated they did not want to affect the outcome of the lynch without knowing the situation since they wouldn't be around rollover). Straw wants to lynch Striker. Fifth is strongly against the idea. Fifth begins the shift towards Ventyl and it ends up being the same thing he was being so reserved of the Mint lynch - people taking it up too fast. The only thing is - Gears is a weird choice for the elim kill if that's the case, since they seem to ask a lot of opinions from Straw and Fifth. But the could precisely be the reason why they chose Gears. Can people discuss about this, and tell me if I'm being paranoid? I feel like I'm being paranoid since both have been largely helpful to the village. I feel like we should be wary about them though. So... Village: Truthwatcher, Lahilt, Eternum Unsure: Straw(leaning village), Fifth (leaning village), Devotary, Striker(leaning elim), Ashbringer, Vapor (leaning village), Frozen Mint (leaning village) Elim: Mist, Mystic Lotus ?: Shard of Reading Gonna vote for Mist here because they are not at all providing any info, and are lying low, but making sure to vote.

Do the Squires lose their power if their Radiant dies? I'm also unsure as to what Illumination does. Does it mean PMs are usually close unless the Radiant with Illumination Surge use their Stormlight?
-
@StrikerEZ, that was an intense game! Thanks for running this extremely chaotic game (and for being very patient with me. I'm not sure if 5 page GM PMs are normal or not ) So there's this theory I had during the game that kandra had an alignment scanner, and though I know that's not true, it could be a good way to make the kandra wincon easier. Alignment scan in odd Night turns and kandra kill in even Night turns. @Ashbringer, don't think I did not notice the taunts you've been throwing at the Coinshot throughout the game. I had an inkling suspicion about you since there was no proof of your Pulser anywhere, but I wanted to win the game over the kandra so I never bothered to kill you. Very well played. @The Young Pyromancer, the main reason I decided to trust you is because you hadn't tried to kill me, which was odd. But apparently sensible since I saw you were attempting to steal my role in elim doc. But then you guys ended up going for the lerasium bead anyway. So not sure why you kept me alive. I do think role-claiming to you was right though, since I feel you would have scanned me anyway, and then decide to kill me because I did not have the knowledge of your role. @Magestar, that was a scrappy, scrappy victory for the village so I won't enjoy it much. What was with you and all the vote-hopping in the end lol ? You almost cost us the game It was great to co-ordinate and play alongside you. Guess we did cause some confusion with you protecting Pyro or not lol . I feel the game had 2-3 critical junctures where we were lucky or the kandra helped us inadvertently. Ash Nicrobursting me. This gave me the second Archivist fact leading to the Mist revelation. Ash killing Pyro. Now this was really down to bad luck because apparently Ash wanted to change his order but couldn't get it in before rollover. If I were to point out my weaknesses, I'm too empathetic to be an SE player. I felt bad for killing Araris even though he was kandra since I felt he wanted to enjoy being the kandra for a little longer but I looked at the kandra doc and saw I was target no. 2 xD Pyro, I never had any intentions of giving you the vest, I just didn't know how to say "No" without being blunt, so I kept making excuses. Felt doubly bad about killing Matrim since he was just killed in the MR, and had just accumulated 3 charges for alignment scan, and now I realise he had scanned the kandra. Bah. If y'all would point out more of my weaknesses, I'd be grateful. Anyway, I don't think I'll relish this victory since it was mostly fluke, but nonetheless I'm glad we won. Good game, everyone

Wouldn't work. It's given in the original game. Is the Highstorm the only way to charge Stormlight? We have to resourcefully use 2 charges per 3 cycles? Duration of Day and Night Turns?

I had a lot of fun RPing with a NPC from the write-up in LG66. I'll see if I can do it again. Sign me up as Galatar.

Pyria...Pyria had betrayed him. He had taken taken effort to make sure she was safe, especially since he felt responsible for her friend's death but, she's been taking full advantage of him. I killed so many innocents and I was actually saving a.. a what? A criminal? No..she was just a kid. They used her like a tool just like they use everyone else. He wouldn't blame her, and he certainly wouldn't blame himself for wanting to protect the young girl. He had no idea how this would turn out, with the kandra and the last Loyalist still about. But he'd try. For now, he set out to search for Reginald as he felt like all this was his fault and he roped Reginald into it needlessly. He owed Reginald at least an apology. He was roaming around the corridor when he heard a grunt and the sound of footsteps approaching his way. He warily checked around the corner to see a dark figure running towards him. As a hazekiller, TJ needed to hide his ability very well to avoid his role among them. This was helped by a special ability he had perfected since a very young age. He could regurgitate items in his stomach back to his mouth. As such, he always swallowed 3 coins and kept them as a reserve in his stomach. Seeing the unknown person, he immediately brought the coin straight from his stomach to his mouth and held it between his teeth. He waited for his moment and spit it out while simultaneously Pushing on it. What he had failed to notice was a small side-opening in the walls into which the assaulter swerved into, but not before taking a shot in the shoulder. He ran to the spot where he had disappeared, but there was no trace of the assailant or the side opening. He'd worry about this person later. For now, he needed to make sure Reginald was alright. They both needed to survive in order to see this through.

So here's my analysis on the game so far by player and chronological order Gears: Started off by stating that we need to vote on players with no votes. Later clarifies this was only until a lynch discussion starts, not for the entire C1. Reaffirms this after Mint’s assumption as well. States Silber is not likely evil because they would have peer reviewed their post. States they do not think my switch off xino is suspicious. Agrees that my defence against Eternum’s vote makes sense Does not think I'm elim and semi-clears based on Pyro's village flip. Verdict: They have been fairly solid in their analysis barring a thing or two. I found their posts a bit too formal for my tastes and felt it was structured that way to make obtaining reads difficult and I'm willing to lean village at this point. Straw: Starts off with strong questioning intent. Against random voting. Unhappy with votes without reasoning. Disagrees with Fifth about.. almost everything vote related, like stating poke votes do not contribute to C1 discussion, no info can be obtained by random elim votes. Gives Gears a mild village read for being the first poster, to which I already disagreed previously. Makes a read post giving Mint an elim read for jumping on Gears but states they do not know if Mint knows that Gears is new. Votes for Fifth as he found Fifth’s vote on him odd as it lacked reasoning. Votes on Pyro for the vote and subsequent retraction on Fifth. Votes on Vapor for vote-hopping. Asks players alternates from a pool of Devotary, Lahilt, Lord Sil, Pyro and Xino. Apparently, I was one of the few who responded for this post and everyone else took my suggestion and ran with it. States there’s no reason for me to change my vote from Pyro to Silber if I was elim. Votes on Pyro stating previous cycle’s reasons. Verdict: Their highly inquisitive nature and constant contribution to discussion makes me want to lean village at this point. But my paranoid self is a bit wary. Check end of post. Frozen Mint: Immediately jumps on Gears for their first post about the above mentioned voting style. Even after Gears clarified what they meant, Mint assumes their post implies they meant the voting style to continue for the entire C1. Why assume the implication of Gears’ first post after Gears clarifies what they meant? Replies to Straw by confessing the reasoning was flimsy and they did not know Gears was a new player. Everyone seems to accept this, but shouldn’t Gears’ post count (at the time) give Mint a pause or a hint that Gears could be a new player? Read post. Gives an elim read on Matrim because he wanted to give more thought to his vote. She assumes it's an elim delay tactic. But gives a village read on Straw for the same reason because she feels it’s “genuine disagreement”. Gives me a village read because even though I was suspicious for laying low, my commentary on Straw is helpful and I’m not bandwagon-y. Fact. 3 of the dead people are given elim read by Frozen Mint, in direct contrast to Eternum (the same dead people by the way - Lord Sil, Matrim and Xino) (check under Eternum). Their next read post gives an elim read on me but I already spoke about it earlier. Votes for me. Explains Matrim is giving more of a village vibe, but they seem to only be considering how early/late in the cycle the player voted, which is not a good reasoning. Changes votes on Pyro because of lack of reasoning from his part. Verdict: I'm a bit confused and less certain of their elim-ness after this analysis than before. But their reasoning on suspicion on me and Matrim is just enough for me to lean mild elim. Striker: Supports poke voting. Read post. Votes for Mist because he finds her voting odd, though Mist voted only once, that was for Vapor. States that they find my posts normal. Mentions suspicion on me because they feel like voting on difference of opinion is valid. He is backed by several other players as well, though I do not know how my statement is suspicious. Verdict: Since their vote on me is gut read, I can't really figure them out properly. Their first read post was based on skimming of the thread and consisted lots of "I think this has happened" or "I don't exactly remember". They haven't exactly been helpful other than their push for me, which seems like they took Pyro's post saying their were trying to distance from as a challenge to firmly push for me. Will have to wait and see. Null. Mist: Agrees with Straw stating they don't like votes without reasoning as well. Votes on Vapor despite stating it’s her first game. Verdict: Would like to see more. Null. Truthwatcher: Adds support against random votes. Then votes on Lord Sil at random. States that they voted at random to dodge the inactivity filter as they do not know if they could come on later. States that they do not have enough information to make a reasoned vote but do not want the first strike of inactivity to explain their vote. Strangely pushing for suspicion on Gears this cycle Verdict: While I found the stuff in first point villager-y, their push on Gears is weird. I suppose it's a gut read so I'll lean village for now. Fifth Scholar: Votes on Straw seemingly out of their disagreement. Makes the point that eliminators' votes will never be random. Calls out Mint for being hasty in their assumption about Gears. Supports poke voting as they feel it promotes C1 discussion to which they are strongly opposed by Straw. Came on much later in the cycle and yet felt compelled to give a reason for their vote on Straw, despite the fact that the lynch train on them had fallen off. Couple of solid read posts, most of which I agree with. Perfectly explains what is going on in my situation. Verdict: I'm getting a solid village read from them. Paranoid me will be wary. Check end of post. Mystic Lotus: Random votes on Straw. Now finds suspicion on Straw because he opposes random voting. Votes for me stating they do not understand how it will reveal my alignment is Pyro’s alignment is known. Sticks with voting for me because I jumped on the bandwagon. Verdict: Their persistence on their suspicion on Straw is strange when Straw hasn't done anything remotely suspicious. I do not understand the 'jumping on bandwagon' part since there certainly wasn't a bandwagon when I voted on Lord Sil. New players are always hard to get read on so I'll stick with null for now. Vapor: States they are voting for Fifth after analyzing, but do not state what their analysis was. States they voted on Fifth because they weren’t really sure whom to vote for (direct contradiction to their previous post). Votes on Straw. Reason for suspicion not mentioned. Changes vote to Pyro after being asked the reason for their vote. Probably a confused villager confusing villagers. The unstable voting would not be the case if they had teammates. Verdict: I think she definitely would not be so confused if she had teammates and her confusion seemed genuine, and not fake. The vote-hopping simply would not have occurred if she was an elim. Her teammates would have stopped that. Village. Eternum: Starts with a read post. I just noticed 3 of the players who are dead were given village reads by Eternum. It might be worth looking into. They gave Lord Sil a village read when Sil was definitely being suspicious. Votes for Pyro. Explains their vote on Pyro despite me stating their actions are NAI, which forces me to again state that despite their reasoning being valid, Pyro’s actions are still NAI. Votes for me explaining the timeline of Silber lynch to which I’ve already given my defence. Brushes off my defence. Have already given response for this. Verdict: Tunneling villager or mislynching elim. Though I doubt an elim would push this hard for a mislynch, but that's the exact same reason they could give when I flip village. Be wary of such types. They attempt to do solid analysis and use their cred built of such analysis to subtly steer towards a mislynch, and tell 'Welp, that didn't work out. Let's move on." afterwards. Seriously cannot chose one over the other with conviction. Lahilt: Votes for Matrim as they do not have reads on anybody and he is voting based off other players’ posts and gut reads. It doesn’t make sense to vote on other people’s gut reads since gut reads are personal. Responds vote on Matrim as a hasty decision and it was based on Mint’s elim read on them. Confronted Ventyl over their statement of me being elim is higher than Pyro Verdict: Odd voting style, but somewhat redeemed themselved in C2. Would like to see more of them. Null. Ventyl: Already mentioned their comment on xino’s death earlier. Votes on me but states votes on both me and Pyro is good. Highly suspicious post. “I don’t see the difference in whom we vote for.” He knew we both were village? States I have a higher chance of being an elim than Pyro, gives no reasoning. Verdict: Strongest elim read post-analysis. Notes by Paranoid!TJ: The initial clash of opinions between Fifth and Straw is nagging me. Paranoid!me is thinking it was staged while I know the most logical choice would be a village/village interaction. Notable thing is after that initial debate, they seemed to have avoided coming to heads with one another. I suppose there is no reason to, but there is little to no interaction between them. I know both of you defended me, and this may seem ungrateful, and I'm sorry for that. It may be nothing, but it's something to be wary about. I'll be willing to lynch either Frozen Mint or Ventyl at this point. What is the right level of defensiveness a villager facing a mislynch show, Striker? Should I not try to provide an answer for everything and be as clear as possible to prevent you guys from making the wrong choice? Why would a villager facing a mislynch show less intent to live than an eliminator?

That info came from Pyro. Gahh, I told you this as soon as Emi flipped village Tineye. Edit: I agree we should stick with Mist, though an elim team of 6 with a Thug is basically too powerful. Maybe the Thug is to counter the kandra likely to hit elims earlier in the game than villagers.
-
@Ashbringer, willing to NB me? @Magestar, so we only have Pyro's word to believe about Lahilt's role. He could easily have been lying about following Lahilt to cover the fact the Lahilt is a Slider. I really do not know. Also, do you want to get rid of the kandra first? To prevent the kandra from siding with the elim during voting?

*sigh* Here we go again. @Frozen Mint Not taking any strong stances? I was the only person defending Pyro's actions as NAI. A defence like that is sure to draw attention, and that's exactly what happened. I suggested the Silber lynch and did not change my vote after. How is that not a strong stance that I'm willing to lynch them? Anyone else felt like this? Or was I calm and composed when defending myself and gave logical and sound reasoning for my actions? @Ventyl, how did you reach the conclusion that I have a higher chance of being elim than Pyro? @MysticLotus, there was just one vote on Sil when I voted for them. How is that jumping on bandwagon? @Eternum My defence of Pyro's actions were my own, not based on other player's reads. It's from my experience of playing with them. I did not use Devotary's post as a reason as she told them she believes him when he said his votes on Fifth were a placeholder. I said him shift votes and retracting them for no reason in normal for him and shouldn't be AI. There's a difference. You are tunneling, man. You're tunneling hard. You over-analyzed my vote Xino, and you're over-analyzing vote on Sil. Either that or you're setting me up for a mislynch seeing as you planted the seeds of my suspicion back in C1. You're also conveniently ignoring the valid points I made in my defence, like the choice of xino as the elim kill wouldn't make sense if I was an elim since it would directly implicate me. Your whole response seems to just want to brush off my defence rather than understand my reasoning. While that's good tactic, it's also important to try and understand the intentions of a villager trying to prevent his mislych. Think from both sides, what would you do if you were a villager trying to prevent your mislynch? Since you're fine with lynching me because I was the first one to suggest a Silber lynch, then it's only fair, by your logic, that it would be make sense to lynch you next cycle when I flip village because you are the first one to start a train on me. Do you think that's fair? No I did not. Not even this cycle if you notice. I did not feel convinced by a single player's reasoning that showed they were elim. Don't you guys think something is inherently wrong that there were trains only on me and Pyro? That too in the very 2nd cycle? With not enough solid reasoning because apparently majority of the people who voted for me just seem to take my vote for Silber into account, and nothing else. Elims easily have 2 cycles of mislynch by building a train between a C1 suspicion and their defender. My vote at the end was purely self-preservation since I did not know the vote count at that time. Huh, explain this please? I was never on the Pyro party. See this is what I'm talking about. Too many false assumptions flying about, whether deliberate or not. How? As I stated earlier, I voted purely out of self-preservation because I did not know the vote count at the time. Wait, I don't think I understood your statement. Do you find my vote on Pyro suspicious or that I'm the most suspicious of the voters on Pyro? Also, Striker, your reasoning on me is very vague. "His posts seems off","His votes seem off". What exactly is off? Please explain. If it's a gut read, then say so. I think the person who mostly understood my intentions is Fifth. His read on me mostly explains what I'm been intending to tell from my posts. Elims seem dead set on my mislynch, with players finding fault in each and every one of my actions. Vote on xino? Sus. Vote on Sil? Same. Defend Pyro? Elim. Pyro flips elim. Obviously elim. Pyro flips village. Still elim. I mean, am I the only person seeing this? Can we please have a discussion of a player other than me, or should we have a 15+ vote one-man lynch train on me? Still suspicious of Frozen Mint. Anybody willing to go there? I'll try to come up with an analysis post, but I can't do that if I have to keep defending. So any further votes/suspicions and responses to my posts will have to wait after my analysis post.

Woke up too early to see that my wish to rage-lynch Pyro is coming true after all. I don't think I can be more reasonable in my defence than I've already been. Back to sleep. Pyro Edit: There's something wrong with my codeblocks. Frozen Mint

When I say I meant to make you understand my reasoning that reasoning would involve the fact that I know I'm not elim. Since I know I'm not elim, I know it must be at least one of the other six. Truthwatcher's was a random vote. Straw wanted alternate lynch options. Pyro voted out of self preservation. Devotary wanted to have a firm train rather than a Pyro-Sil tie. Frozen Mint's vote was the odd one out for me. I don't see how this reasoning is suspicious. I also don't see anyone talking about my defence against Eternum's vote. Doesn't any of the things I say there makes sense?

Pyro also knew I was targeting Kidpen and did not do anything about it.

Well can't really defend against a gut read, but you have to be wary of people giving seemingly honest analysis as well. That's the best way to hid with the village, not laying low. I'll ask you a couple of questions so that you can understand my reasoning. 1. Do you really believe none of the 7 voters for Silberfarben are elim? 2. If you do believe there is at least one elim, who do you think is the most suited to be elim? (Exclude me out because I'm trying to make you understand my reasoning) Also, how can you vote for me based on my vote for someone else when the result of that vote has not yet been revealed? Just because you have a good read on them doesn't mean others cannot find them suspicious, and it doesn't do good to vote on them just because of a difference of opinion.
