  1. Either my vote was not considered or someone rioted it back to Lahilt. @StrikerEZ was my vote considered?
  2. Well this has put me in a point of pressure. Should I tie it to see some vote manips? Edit: Maybe I should. I don't mind either of Karnage, Ventyl or Experience getting lynched. Each are different level of suspicious in my book. So Karnage
  3. I really hope you do not do this. It's an utter waste of your actions as well as the Steel Trap. Your attempt to prove that you're telling the truth does not alleviate our concerns that you may be elim. If you're truly a villager, I'd rather you help the village by actually role-blocking some elim you believe might be up to something. Again, you proving that you were telling the truth can be seen as appeasing the village to make yourself less elim-y, and if you're willing to waste your actions for that, I'd be concerned. As I said, I do not know anything Ventyl did or did not do. I just said I knew Emi did not target anyone last cycle. Whether role-blocked or simply not taking an action, I cannot say. We will have to (or not) take Emi's word for it. I'm not 'backing' him up. I'd rather have kept this information for myself, but since you all were asking for it, and Emi did not seem to be coming on, I felt compelled as a villager to provide all the necessary information pertaining to the situation before it was too late. In other news, I've completely managed to distract myself by focusing on the new Bleeder and how Araris might have chosen them, and found this little piece. Was it possible he was grooming a successor, potential by outing himself and making a deal that the successor gets to be the kandra when he dies? It seems like a risk, but c'mon, if Araris had asked you guys, would you have really told no? As such, I ask Windwhisperers (village or elims, doesn't matter) to consider targeting Araris' PMs as it might reveal if he was scheming with someone else.
  4. Well, there you have it folks. Now that that's been dealt with, let's see what to do with Ventyl. Elim behaviour: Asked Lahilt to withdraw vote on Experience Changed vote from Experience right at the death Prompting information Village Behaviour: Not a single player jumping to their defence Ventyl trying to prove their role by doing the village's bidding is NAI as an elim would certainly try that as well. My reading on them is slightly elim, but again, everything depends on the alignment of Experience.
  5. Did you submit an action? Do you know if the action was completed successfully? @StrikerEZ, will the players get a message if they are role-blocked?
  6. Emi did not target anyone last cycle. Whether she was role-blocked or simply did not use her actions, I cannot say. I cannot, for obvious reason, cite my sources or how I got knowledge. Just know that this information is 100% accurate. That does not mean Ventyl is not elim though. Just that he wasn't (possibly) lying about his role. Also @Ventyl, why would you buy steel trap if you have role-block action? And why did you target Emi last cycle?
  7. How confident are you that he did not fake-claim to you? Have you seen evidence or some sort of proof of his actions in use to verify his claim? Huh, last 3 minutes? I would like to note that he changed his vote only after Pyro changed it to Experience in an attempt to save Drake. I'd be down to lynch either Lahilt or Ventyl this cycle, It doesn't matter now since you people seem happy troubling Striker in the last 30 mins of the cycle xD
  8. Biggest reveal of the game (And that's including finding out Araris was kandra xD)
  9. Agree with you, though not for the reasons you've stated. I hadn't paid much attention to the said Xino-Kyne interactions. In addition to your points, I'll point out how hard Araris was pushing for the Kynedath lynch. Was he trying to dispose two elims in one cycle? In Cycle 2 I really didn't understand their lynching. But after the lynch, seeing as how votes were swung off or 'retracted', I'd not be opposed to info-lynching them. Depending on the way they flip, we can possibly we get info on Lahilt, Ventyl, and possibly Elandera. I got a very weird bussing vibe from the lynch. Alright, time for some stats! 6 people are dead out of the initial 23. That's 17 alive players. If we assume [(33% of the total players) - 1] as the number of eliminators at the beginning of the game, that's 7 eliminators (worst case). Since xino dead, they are either left with 6 or 5 members depending on whether an elim was converted to kandra. That would leave us with either 10-1-6 or 11-1-5. The former case could leave us with 7-1-6 at the beginning of the next day if we mislynch and if the coinshot targets the wrong person. That's a very precarious position to be in, even if it is the worst case scenario. Something to be cautious about.
  10. This could actually be a very good thing for us because if too many villagers are getting killed elim!kandra will have to resort to killing their former teammates. It was also cause paranoia in the elim's camp. They'd basically be like us - analysing each and every one's moves, unable to trust each other and carefully considering what other's are doing. This won't happen immediately though. We'd have to wait until after Night 4. Even if one of their own dies after that turn, elim doc will descend into chaos. This would also make our job of hunting the kandra easier since they'd already be in our elim suspect list. I'd like to counter your point with the same reason. I'd think Araris would choose someone he suspected of being an elim since it would make his successor easy to restore balance at will rather than choose someone who analyses a lot but is known to be wrong with his analysis (like with Drake). He obviously had a lot of elim suspects. Much more than he let on in the thread, like with xino. So it might not be someone whom he suspected to be elim in-thread. I agree with most of your other analysis. But if he chose them, it would be easy/obvious for people like you and me to analyse. I'd actually like to think that he'd choose inactive players whom he hoped to be would be active. Basically, Araris would choose One of his elim suspects, but not one of ours. Inactive players he knows is going to be more active Personally, I think it's the former rather than the latter. Now coming to this cycle's lynch. I'm particularly suspicious of Lahilt. They retracted their vote at a very critical point, basically deciding the lynch all by themselves. What's more surprising is they did not vote for anyone else at that point. There's no reason why they would do that, and I do not buy their reason stating "I do not have a good read on them". Edit: Ninja'd by Elandera
  11. Kandra should not allow the elims to outnumber villagers, but also shouldn't let the villagers kill all the elims. They should walk a very thin line which would be difficult in the endgame. The most favourable position for the kandra in the end would be 1 elim, 1 villager and them. Kinda like The Good, the Bad and the Ugly situation. The kandra would have to guess which one is the elim and hope that the elim targets the villager to win. As I said, a very thin line to walk. That is probably why I think Araris killed xino. To restore parity, and reduce the no. of elims as too many villagers were getting killed earlier. I think the kandra's body shifting ability is just one in the game. It's probably to counter a lucky shot from killing the kandra too early in the game. Striker confirmed it is once per game per player. It indeed is just once per game. Striker re-confirmed it. But the thing is, we're lucky we got the info about the kandra this early in the game. I also think Araris would not have used the self-destruct ability as it is too early in the game. It doesn't make sense why he would want to do that. Mostly he was killed . Edit: Ninja's by Striker and Shard @StrikerEZ Huh, once per game per player? That means if the current kandra dies, the role will be shifted again? How do we completely kill off the kandra then?
  12. The Last Laugh of Lorena Blackburn - Part 4/4 He reached the corner of the warehouse that also served as the sick bay. Bard, a surgeon brought in by Darson to deal with any ‘unfortunate’ events, peered over the book he was reading. He rushed as soon as he saw them and helped to settle Lorena on what appeared to serve as a bed. He proceeded to examine her, and after a while declared “I’m sorry son. But she’s as dead as the Lord Ruler.” “No, I..I felt a pulse.” he managed weakly. “She’s gone, son. Look around you. Look at those whom you can save.” He had a warm, comforting voice. TJ realized he was being Soothed but he couldn’t care. He had failed. He couldn’t protect even if he tried. Better to stand idle than this… this pain. He picked her up and moved towards the doors as he had the previous night. As he had the previous day. But it was different this time. He looked down at her and realized there still remained a hint of her smile. Even death could not wipe that grin off her face. He oddly found himself smiling. No. This may be more painful to me, but it’s a chance for someone. He couldn’t get angry with those who were responsible. Vengeance was the last thing in his mind. They would get what was coming to them, but first he had a responsibility. With newly found resolve and tears rolling down his cheeks, he carried Lorena and walked through the doors as he led her to a better world. _______________________________________________ Nope, it's just part of the story. That's all.
  13. The Last Laugh of Lorena Blackburn - Part 3/4 Lorena had her hand in the pockets of one of the lords she was following, and he had caught her in action. She tried to pry her wrists from his grasp, but soon realized it was futile. Instead, she smiled innocently as if she intended to find goodies in his pocket. Within the blink of an eye, she was on the ground, and they were already on their way. He rushed to find her surrounded by a pool of blood. Too much blood to have flown in an instant. How was it possible? The answer immediately flashed to him. Bendalloy bubble. They opened up a bubble, stabbed her, and departed, leaving her to bleed to her death as time slowed around her. He knelt and noticed a tiny grin on her face, all what was left of the innocent smile and glanced at her gut wound. She had died very painfully indeed. He hesitated, then moved to check for her pulse. Nothing. How.. how could I have doubted her? She was just a thief. Far worse people were here. She was just doing what she could to survive in the wretched place. I said no more. Why couldn’t I… Wait. What was that? He realized he was still holding her wrist. He waited anxiously, holding his breath. There. A very slight bump in her veins, very faint. But he felt it. Before he knew it, he was already up and dressing her wound. In a few minutes, he was off, navigating through the corridors with her cradled in his arms. To be continued... ________________________________________________ @Matrim's_Dice, yeah but boxings
  14. The Last Laugh of Lorena Blackburn - Part 2/4 As he vowed to himself, he noted a slight movement from the corner of his eyes that shook him out of his reverie. A young girl had just slipped out of the main chamber of the warehouse into the labyrinth of corridors adjacent to it. Lorena Blackburn, he recalled her name. He noticed that she had followed the same path as two other lords earlier. Immediately, his instincts as a spy took over. Was she a killer in disguise of a girl? Was she trained to kill from a young age? Why was she following them? Without a second thought, he slipped into the corridors and began to follow her. Turn after turn, he followed her quietly. He thought he could keep up with her easily, but he was wrong. This girl was really something else. He started to speed up slightly and he turned yet another corner… and stopped. She was gone. But.. I was right behind her. Where could she have gone? He practically started running, frantically searching for her when he heard a small yelp. He ran towards the direction of the voice, and what he found was not what he expected. To be continued... ___________________________________________________________ Thanks @Matrim's_Dice! Just two more times please
  15. So, I got a little carried away while writing some RP, and here is the result. The Last Laugh of Lorena Blackburn - Part 1/4 Death. That seemed to be the only thing constant these days. Death of the innocent. Every single day he saw them die, and every single day he was forced to carry their bodies away. One final company before they drifted off into the spiritual realm. First it was Coda, one of the cheerful guys who only wanted to have fun and bring a little laughter to this place. Last night, it was a scientist named Adomert, a quiet little person who seemed content to keep to themselves and immerse in one or the other of their contraptions. And he stood and watched. Watched idly as people died one-by-one. He felt helpless, and then felt ashamed at his helplessness. He could do something. He would do something. To Ruin with his orders of observing undetected. No more. Not a single person more. He could fail, but he would at least try. P.S. - Could someone post so that I could continue? P.P.S. - Also could you guys hold off from role-playing in relation to my character. I’ve written the rest of it, and I just need someone to post something before posting the rest. To be continued…
  16. Well... consider me embarrassed. In my defence, that is a very weak retraction. I can barely differentiate the green from the black. Sorry GMs, I apologize for any panic I've caused. *sigh* Sorry @The Young Pyromancer for raising your hopes.
  17. So I've come back after going through the 2+ pages I've missed and.... THE LYNCH WAS MISCOUNTED. DRAKE WAS WRONGFULLY LYNCHED. @StrikerEZ WE WANT JUSTICE (jk, it's not your fault. you've been a great GM. I blame all the people late voting) WRONG VOTE COUNT: DrakeMarshall (4): Ashbringer, Magestar, TJ Shade, VentylExperience (3): Elandera, Emi, The Young PyromancerKynedath (3): Araris Valerian, DrakeMarshall, MistAraris Valerian (2): Shard of Reading, xinoehp512Emi (2): Experience, Karnage CORRECT VOTE COUNT: DrakeMarshall (4): Ashbringer, Magestar, TJ Shade, VentylExperience (4): Elandera, Emi, The Young Pyromancer, LAHILT Kynedath (3): Araris Valerian, DrakeMarshall, MistAraris Valerian (2): Shard of Reading, xinoehp512Emi (2): Experience, Karnage If the vote was soothed, the name should have been there. I believe it was a miscount since you did not mention Lahilt's name in the previous counts as well PS: I will go back to check if Lahilt retracted their vote on Experience. If they have I'd be extremely embarassed.
  18. What even happened when I was gone?? Drake had just my solo vote. Votes for Kynedath popped up from somewhere? Man, I was really hoping to soothe my suspicion on Drake in the following cycles. Be right back, after going through what happened.
  19. No they haven't posted at all. Hatz and them are 2 who haven't posted at all. If there are inactive among elims, we can guess it by observing which inactive player they skirt around while submitting their kill actions (if they continue killing inactive players, that is). Edit: Ninja'd by Ash
  20. Experience. Yeah I kinda agree that almost all their elim readings are based on RP. Still @Ventyl I appreciate you doing this! I know it's pain to go through 30+ pages sifting for information in what is 70% absolute crem. I did the same when I analysed the voting sequences of players in the last cycle. So... we have 6 inactive players this cycle - @Emi, @Walin, @Kynedath, @Elkanah, @The_God_King and @ILuvHats. It'd be great if you chipped in guys!
  21. Praise the Lord Ruler someone is discussing voting again. @Magestar diversifying the votes at the beginning, I understand. I feel at this time, we should be shoring them up, not spreading them thin. Does that mean you'd be totally fine if we were to hypothetically lynch Walin this cycle?
  22. No one is trying to kill Dalinar though. Shouldn't one of the factions have Dalinar's death as their wincon?
  23. Yeah, it looks like they totally forgot V/V interaction. And they trusted Araris too quickly. If it is the case of an inexperienced elim, I do wonder if the elims would make a move to bus them lest they reveal more from E/E interactions here. Hmmm, I wonder if that's what you and Araris are doing here Let's do a vote count! There hasn't been one in this cycle. Experience (2) - Elandera, Lahilt Araris Valerian (2) - Magestar, Xinoehp Karnage (2) - Ashbringer, Pyromancer Magestar (1) - Araris Valerian Emi (1) - Karnage DrakeMarshall (1) - TJ Ventyl (1) - DrakeMarshall
  24. Thing is it's not about politics but human behavior. When people are arguing from opposing viewpoints (i.e. opposing silence vs defending BS), rarely do they come to a peaceful resolution. Each party's aim is to convince the other that they are right, and not to have a peaceful discussion. If either side is unwilling to concede or accept the opposite viewpoint, then what is the point? It'll just be an endless back-and-forth going nowhere. Add to that some rowdy-elements (people who cannot have a civil discussion) and it's easy to escalate and go downhill from there.
