Curse me? Why are you singling me out?

@Burnt Spaghetti, I'm voting for Gears because he was the only player on the opposite of Vapor lynch, and since I think elims are not likely to all vote for one players, it's a reasonable assumption to make that he's an elim.

Bahh, you're confusing mee! Lahilt is not a random inactive though? He's been posting in each cycle. He voted for Ventyl, and strongly wanted to kill him in D1, but didn't vote for him in D2. In fact, he didn't vote at all, neither in D2 nor in D3, despite posting in thread. I'm in a dilemma because I do believe Gears is innocent, but I really do not want him to escape from a lynch the second time if he is an elim.
-
Yeah, I noticed this too. Makes me think she's keeping an eye on me for some reason. Weird. "Tries to make sure they survive" is a bit strong. I was just warning them that they'd be killed off if they do not post if they weren't aware of the filter. Why Striker though? It seems your reasoning is because everyone did not want to vote for him in C1, but he had just been killed D1 in LG67, so I'd imagine the sympathy is warranted.

I do not think lynching Eternum is efficient use of a lynch cycle. If Eternum last submitted an action in C2, he'll be killed by the filter anyway, so there's no reason to lynch him this cycle. If he doesn't die by the filter this cycle, then we can lynch him in the next. Yes, I didn't imply weren't active = didn't vote. I was just shortlisting people who weren't active AND didn't vote. This reaction, I believe. @DrakeMarshall, indeed this was the reaction to Araris' rallying that I wasn't sure if it was genuine concern or elim exaggeration. Do you not think the elims split their votes rather than pile it on a single player? Why? You need to retract the room votes as well. Green out your earlier vote on Garden. I was talking specifically about a player in their first game. Would you kill someone playing their first game early as well? Because it was Windrunner's first game, and he is the only debutant in this game. I meant I thought their vote was initial distancing gone wrong. Araris used his usual "I always stab vote" reason, and Vapor voted on him for no reason at all. After this the discussion stalled, and they couldn't find a good reason to take their votes off. Specifically Vapor's retraction felt odd. Sorry if this post feels rushed. I'm a bit busy right now, but I wanted to get this out before everyone went off to sleep.

That is actually a very good question. xD Wonder how Drake can give conclusive evidence that he's village. I think he basically meant he could argue his defence. C1: Lounge - Vapor, Devotary, Truthwatcher, Windrunner C2: Kitchen - Striker, Araris, Vapor, Windrunner C3: Garden - Vapor, Windrunner, Striker, Drake I think this should be right.

@Gears, I've stood firm that you're village till the last cycle. There's still some part of me that believes that. But I can't trust that part because I've been wrong throughout the game. I'm just going along with a trust villager whose reads have been accurate so far. If I was following my reads, I'd want to lynch one of Mage, Araris or Pyro over you. But I'm cannot listen to that part of me, at least not this cycle.
-
I'd actually considered it, but I found it highly unlikely because Araris' death was heavily discussed in-thread, and it was heavily implied that he might have died because he confirmed the presence of an item. That should have discouraged anyone from doing so again. And, if it was an important item which had an action attached to it, it would probably have been revealed in the write-up. In theory? Yes. I'm sorry, but in all the games I've played, I've never felt like this. So I would disagree with this point, at least from my perspective. I've seen a lot for examples for the other way around though. Old players take it upon themselves to ensure new players do feel like returning to play the game again. No, I'm saying the elims are much more likely to split their vote to avoid suspicion than to put it all on a player as that would be easily detectable and suspicious. The only vote on the opposite train is you. There's also me, but I would not have brought attention to that fact if I was elim. This is more predominating reason than the new-players-kill-new-players theory. If it was anyone else in your place, I would have voted for them overlooking the above said theory.

Mage, this is becoming a cyclic thing. xD Nevertheless I'm actually sort of thankful for it because it has sorta kept me alive till now. According to me, I'm only still alive due to a combination of three reasons - the protection thing me and Mat are doing, the constant suspicion on me which might make the elims think I'm still a viable candidate for a mislynch, and of course me leading mislynches, which would have tempted the elims to see if I lead more mislynches. As I said before, I did not "lead" a lynch on Eternum. I had a very personal suspicion on him. Reasons others gave for voting on him though: Note that both Pyro and Gears want to lynch an active played, but have actually voted for Elbereth who was obviously inactive at that point. Followed by: Provides some kind of reasoning even if the train of thought is the same as me. So, flimsy bandwagoning. The reason I'm not going with my reads is because I've only hurt the village till now, and I don't want to do it anymore. Before your post, if you were to ask me who would I go for the lynch this cycle, I'd say either you, Araris or Pyro. But I relate so much with your post, for example: Same, as I mentioned before. Same, I kept thinking lynching an elim in D1 was a curse. And I definitely felt this. I was just about to post that it feels like we're in the endgame, like the last couple of cycles in LG66. So, that made me tilt a little bit more village towards you. My next lynch kill candidate would have to wait on the Gears' flip if he gets lynched though.

Brilliant! If you have not read the rules, check out this thread, and read the whole thing. There are no games open for sign ups now, as both the Long Game (LG) and the Mid-Range (MR) have been up and running for a while. There's a spectator doc for both those games where you can watch the proceedings and discuss it with fellow spectators and players who are dead. @Straw and @Kasimir would be happy to provide you the links for the same. I'd reckon the earliest a game can end is in about a week time. I'll tag you in the next game's sign ups if you miss it.

First things first, Eternum has been sneak-submitting actions, at least till C2. If he doesn't die by the end of this cycle, we can talk about him. Now who would be so cruel as to kill off a new player in the 2nd kill-able cycle? I've seen all the old players I've played with till now advocate to letting the new players live for a few more cycles if they do not prove to be harmful, and I don't think they were particularly harmful. So.. maybe one of the new players? That would be Gears, Truthwatcher, Lahilt and Mystic Lotus. Of the old players, I'm quite certain that Striker and Orlok wouldn't do this. Don't know about Burnt. Unsure if Devotary and Drake would do this as well. Hmm, Drake has now led the lynch 2/2 times, though I'm not sure if it's AI as it's very easy to blame the person who votes first for a lynched player. I'm not quite confident in elim!Drake to pursue at this point of time. I also think not all elims would have voted for Vapor, and the only player who stayed on Xino besides me and Vapor is Gears, who also fits nicely with the 'new player killing off new players early' theory. Little suspicious of Lahilt as well, seeing as he voted at the last movement and just added to the bandwagon both the times. Haven't been out in the open, so Garden, here I come. Oh, and before I forget, @MysticLotus, was the herb you found given the same description as the one with El? And I found an item that lets me protect a player for a turn from getting killed. It will stay with me if I target a person who is not attacked. I can target myself. It will not work on lynches. So, each cycle, I'll mention that I'll protect a person I trust the most or myself so that the elims would hesitate to kill either of us. We're 3 mislynches away from a lylo, so I doubt they'd try to waste 2 cycles to kill someone. I will protect Mist or myself this cycle.

Hey, glad to see you're still keeping up with the game. Slightly concerned that you're an elim, but an elim would have decided to stay quiet seeing as we have decided to focus our efforts on the seemingly active elim killer. Yeah, for me, that's the only thing on the village side of the scale for Gears, and the only thing that is causing me to slightly doubt the lynch. Having said that, my reads are off this game, so if I think he's village, then he's probably an elim. xD No worries, Mint! Don't feel like you HAVE to make long posts to contribute. If you chip in here and there, that's totally fine with me. If you want to, then of course, go ahead.

Gears, throughout the game, I do not think you've expressed one suspicion of your own. I recall so many statement of yours that propose conditional lynches, like if A is highly suspicious of B and if B flips village, let's lynch A. In reality, strong suspicions are bound to be mentioned more by villagers than elims, and as I, and Araris said before, it will likely create a link of village mislynches. Your suspicion is not unwarranted.

Well, I'm glad me and Matrim are alive. This makes is pretty conclusive that Striker lynch was not a bus since the only other player alive who voted on Striker is Matrim, and this fairly clears him as well. We do have an active Illuminator. If you are also a Transformer (or if there is an another Transformer) please mention your scan results to a person you trust the most. Be very very careful when you do so as you are very important to us. Obviously I'd prefer if you tell it to me, but I understand that I'm under a bit of suspicion so if you don't trust me, I'd recommend telling it to Matrim via PMs. Matrim will reveal the results of the thread. As for my vote on Eternum, I was never "leading" the lynch. Elbereth already had 3 votes on her, and I didn't want to add to her bandwagon. Besides I found Eternum more suspicious because of the way he voted for me, so it was a very personal suspicion. Everyone who followed though? Not much reasoning. I promised I'd follow someone else's train of thought and Matrim's seems to be accurate so far. Gears. We have a confirmed active elim killer. Elbereth has not posted in a while so we can consider her as inactive. Not sure why you would want to vote for her.
-
Verified. Though I feel that that train of thought is normal for a player in their 2nd game. @DrakeMarshall, yeah as I said, the vote is a bit meta, with me assuming a few things. Didn't really have a name in my mind when I began eliminating suspects. Just started PoE, and ended with Mist and Xino. But my main point with the post was to get at least one candidate with a comfortable no. of votes on them, and for voting and discussion to ensue. Which ended up happening which eventually lead to suspicion on Vapor, which I agree with. I'll not be shifting my vote though. I'd rather have two parallel lynches to see the votes getting on and off trains, and to see which player prefers which player to lynch, I feel it gives more info than one single bandwagon.

@The Young Pyromancer, I've tried not think about you at all during the game as I don't think I'll be able to remain objective with respect to you. I have a lot of residual suspicion on you from LG66, and I'm unlikely to trust you for quite some duration of time despite you doing villager-y things. That's why I haven't mentioned anything pertaining to you, because it will likely be biased. Trying to remain as objective as possible, you haven't done much for me to say you're village, and I'd be willing to lynch you.
-
Might as well do it again. I ask for protection as well. Bah, I feel useless this game. So we have 19 players, probably 14-5. Probably 4 more mislynches for lylo. This is going to be a long game if the village Dustbringer is inactive as well.
-
Hmm, if the item was important enough, it would have been revealed in the write-up, no? Also, Araris did not mention any specific item, so I'm not sure why the elims would be spooked out. Gears revealed the fact that Araris had an item, so if it is the reason, Gears is not likely to be an elim. Yeah, I understand. I was getting a bit worried as less than 24 hrs was remaining and only Drake had voted.

That's it. I'm not leading any more lynches. 2 times, and both of them village KRs. My reads are totally off this game. Storms how many more inactive KRs do we have?

Hey, someone has to start a unified lynch or we lose, TW.

Okay as I said I'm kinda curious to see active!Mist, so I'd be willing to change my vote to Xino since they are the other name on the list. Anybody with me?

Um, I just explained in the post I made. Basically a process of elimination from the list of people most likely to fear-kill or recommend fear-killing Araris.
