Hello all!! And welcome to my latest project :)) This is a short story I got the idea for out of nowhere while I was sick. The premise is; "What happens when a ghost has to watch his still alive lover fall in love again?" Now, the very observant (and slightly soul crushing) @DoomslugLuna noted that this has most likely been done before. But she suggested doing it in the fashion of the 21st century, instead of the more traditional 1700s-1800s time period. And so, I did that. I'll be posting three chapters in this OP, with more as I finish them. This project was also mentioned in my Report, which you can view through that link; it's an analytical report on all my writing projects, past, present, and future. Pretty cool There's also this spotify playlist if you'd like to listen to what I listen to when I write this. feeling goofy, might do a full comprehensive look into all my writing projects.
word count, motivation to do them, status reports on the progress of some of my favorites.
might do this because it sounds fun.
we'll see.

not really a bad day... but it's been an interestingly kinda sorta rough three days. got my wisdom teeth out tuesday, which means pain meds, which means no driving, which means can't do anything or see anyone because it's spring break so everyone is busy. so i've been alone at home for three storming days. i'm losing it. thankfully, i see my beloved DoomslugLuna tmrw to just hang out :DDDD but yeah rough three days :3 -
Happy places: Anywhere where I can smile, laugh, and love. Anywhere I feel safe. But to be more specific: My room when it's cloudy, and my main light is off and I've got lofi music playing and I'm just cozy in bed. The arms of my beloved, where I feel the most happy and the most safe. My therapy-prescribed 'calm safe place,' which is a cozy little room with a fire in one corner, a large window on one wall overlooking a mountain grove where it's foggy and rainy and gray. inside the room, in the other corner are pillows, blankets and beanbags. the whole room is just cozy and warm and soft. School, but only the special moments where I'm laughing and happy with my friends.

i agree, which is why i'm always trying to get people to read my stuff im always open to criticism. if i can use my words more effectively, then all the better

hmm. the imaginativeness of it all is something I actually envy a little bit. the Night, personified as a partial goddess, the Day as a partial god, and the Broken Ones as His attendants, all super cool things. the prose is absolutely gorgeous like the prose is just- oh, it's the style that's one of my favorite ways to write it's so beautiful and flowy.
