  1. Alright, who voted Kaves? I didn't put him in there seriously. Please, name yourself.
  2. No one voted Gavilar, it's Elhokar's son Gavinor that they voted for. Slightly more understandable.
  3. Pants and underwear and T-shirt with a sweatshirt on. I don't care about the weather, I always wear a sweatshirt (even when it's 90 degrees in Nevada, keeps me from having to apply sunscreen). Frozen iron, in both senses. 42. The number after 41 and before 43. Rip me not following my own thread.
  4. Because people pointed them out that I missed them I have a thing about being factually accurate, and they are technically Kholins, however unlikable. I mean, you never know here on the Shard. How could you have a 1.6M-word four-book epic fantasy with absolutely fantastic character development and such earth-shattering emotional moments and your favorite character of all time is Axies? Or stick? Do people find it annoying they're on there because I could take them off.
  5. "The source was that Shadow man--I don't know, did you meet him yet? It's a word-for-word transcription."
  6. Orpheus opened his eyes and pulled out a copy of the prophecy that the Shadow had given and reached it out towards Owlson. "The tall, strange man spouted this out to myself and the elf... Val, I think? He then proceeded to inform us that we had to go on this quest or else, and so here we are the next day." @OoklaWasTaken
  7. Yes, it can answer with just RAFO. It also uses terms like “uh—yes, that’s theoretically possible,” and sometimes very Brandon sounding responses. EDIT: Added some more from the Discord, I didn't ask these but I thought they're funny.
  8. You've accidentally posted this three times, you can go to the other threads and under moderation options at the top you can just hit hide. I know that Ingenuity is not a confirmed Shard name, but looking into the actual definition (e.g. "innovation," "inventive") I believe this is probably what was the working name for Invention. I believe some have theorized along other lines, saying that Ingenuity's definition as "clever" could overlap with the supposed "wisdom Shard" who "just wants to hide and survive." I see this as less likely now because I think he might have been referring to Invention. Brandon has also said that Prudence sounds like a good Shard name,.
  9. @Spren of Kindness First one of this thread.
  10. Te fashionable, undead, Ookla flew under its inelegant yet elegant Walmart tag.
  11. Rust and Ruin, is that a real person? *checks Coppermind* *updates poll for accuracy purposes*
  12. "I think we're waiting on a few other people, the Shadow will call it when we're ready to go. In the meantime, I'll be taking a nap. Gotta get some rest." Orpheus laid on his packs and shut his eyes.
  13. What a controversial opinion on this platform here. I agree.
  14. Probably spoiler tag it if it's from Dawnshard, those are allowed in this forum only spoiler tagged.
  15. Actually writing out the list I realized there are a lot more Kholins than I realized. And Gavilar? He's a close second favorite, I'm sad to see him doing this poorly. I love megalomaniacs.
  16. Orpheus accidentally tossed his knife a little too high and it bonked him on the head. He fumbled for it and then shoved it back into his bag.
  17. Orpheus looked around and realized that he had just walked up to the agreed upon meeting place. "Oh... well, that makes sense." He laid down on the floor lazily and waited, balancing his sheathed knife on his finger or tossing it up in the air and catching it up again.
  18. Orpheus nodded. "Anyone know how much time has passed? Perhaps we ought to be meeting together soon."
  19. Orpheus turned to the other girl who just walked up. How could he have never even learned her name? Orpheus felt like an idiot. "See, she was a part of that quest. Uh... what was your name?"
  20. Orpheus returns from purchasing all of his supplies. He carried several bags, but he didn't mind. He didn't anticipate needing anything more for the quest, or at least for a long while. He also had a small bag he kept close of him he had filled with personal items and other such things. He found himself among a small group of people that again, he knew nothing about. How come he couldn't remember names? Were these people even part of the quest, or did he just find himself some random marketgoers? He thought one looked familiar. He turns to a girl with short black hair and a streak through her hair. He considered being blunt, but decided against mentioning the dragon. He didn't know how the commonfolk would react. "Weren't you with the other ones, going on the quest? With the prophecy? I can hardly keep anyone straight anymore."
  21. I absolutely love anything AI generated, and we as a fanbase should be honored to have this.
  22. There's been several threads on it. I'll just quote myself from a year-old thread.
  23. Hmm. Is there such things as the double-something for Odium? But I suppose it does kind of check out with Taravangian's boon/curse, the difference between passion and compassion.
