I’m not talking at all about the reason Lift or Kaladin are conscious; only that the Surges of Progression and Adhesion were the only Surges able to be used during the Great Suppression and it is likely because they are of Cultivation and Honor respectively. With how you were stating things it seemed you were denying the possibility that the Surge of Progression was of Cultivation as OP suggests.

...but the point was she couldn’t use her Lifelight to fuel the Surge of Abrasion, only the Surge of Progression. Suggesting there is more to the Surge of Progression, similarly to how there is more to the Surge of Adhesion.

I’ve developed a strange way to deal with social anxiety and stress. I’ve convinced my subconscious mind not to worry—if I mess up something bad, there is an extremely low chance they’re going to remember that a year from now. And if they do, so what? I know I’m not going to remember it in a year. An attitude of “Oh, well, guess that happened. Moving on.” And if nothing happened—great! This is how I’ve been trying to reach out and be more social. I literally logic myself into social situations and attempt to tune out my anxiety or worry by again using logic. Mostly ending up like, “If I initiate conversation with this person, no matter what, I am certain it will not be the end of the world as I know it.”

Orpheus also walked with the others, ending up near the front.

Something I noticed when it is revealed that Cultivation’s Vessel’s name is Korellium Avast is that it shares the same “Avast” as Tanavast, her late husband. Did Korellium add Avast to her name as part of a marriage to Tanavast, and so the Avast part of Tanavast is actually his last name? So Tan is his first name, and it got melded together? Did anyone else notice this? Does anyone have any alternate theories?

Wow... I just envisioned a scene like Kaladin and Tien had but with Dalinar and Evi.

- I collect coins, and have always had a knack for spotting coins on the ground in public places. I got an average of $0.15 every time my mother brought me to the store; even finding a 2 euro piece at a craft store and a wallet with hundreds of dollars in it at a thrift store. It was my only income as a young child, and oh how o would always save up that $3.19 for a lego minifigure. - Lego stop motion. Yeahhh I don’t do it a lot anymore but I have a whole setup and program and everything. I wrote a whole script for several movies I was going to make but I never had the time for (rip). - Fanfiction writing. I love writing but I’m such a perfectionist and so overly critical of my own ideas I can never bring myself to write in a setting I’ve created, thus how I launched the Adventures of Darth Maul and Savage Oppress (DMSO), a 100+ Microsoft-word-page book I wrote. When I was ten. aaand that’s all for now. I’ve got more I could say but I want to wait first

How am I doing in my first role-play?

A fashionable, undead Ookla flopped under its inelegant yet elegant Walmart purchase.

"Well, someone said when that guy who just showed up showed up, we'd get going," said Orpheus. "So, I imagine we'll be heading out about now." Orpheus stood up and threw his pack over his shoulder, looking to the Shadow. "Where to first? Which way will we be taking out of town?"

I don't know if I'd do this, as I like to think back and just know these things--it would be useful as a Feruchemist if I could memorize every bit of information from the Coppermind website and access any of it at any time. And would you have the memory of how you felt when you read it--but not know the contents?
