Orpheus whirled around, sensing something. What was it? I... ᴅᴏ ɴᴏᴛ ᴋɴᴏᴡ. Tʜᴇʀᴇ ɪs sᴏᴍᴇᴛʜɪɴɢ, ᴛʜᴏᴜɢʜ. And just like that, it was gone.

"Suit yourself. So you do plan to kill." He pointed Lloyd towards a dresser on the other side of the room. "I mostly just have fake facial hair, but I've got outfits of a few different professions. Robes, suits, Claymore uniforms."

Cruz noticed the crossing black lines across her body. He walks over to a desk and pulls out a tray with several small, circular tub of a rubbery, gel-like material in the color of a variety of skin tones. "If you'd like, you can go ahead find the closest matching skin tone and apply it. This will last for up to 48 hours, as long as it's not disturbed too much. After that, it starts peeling off." He decided not to annoy her about them.

Cruz interrupted. "Do you guys need, like, disguises or something? In case we need to go back to the surface at any point."

"Well, then. Hopefully they don't come back."

"Aren't they worried about you?" Orpheus asked. Then, realizing what had just happened, continued, "They are worried about you! What's wrong with you?"

"Who even are you!?" Cruz exclaimed. "And don't do anything else that could potentially reveal this location."

"By Pandora, I'd prefer if you don't test out my weapons right in front of me!" "What are you?"

"I only really do paid work, kid. You have someone that needs assassinated? And you're going to need to tell me why they're after you. Who'd you kill?" Cruz noticed Lloyd going through his weapons and sighed. He already had a connection with this girl, as he was once a young assassin as she was. Naïve, yet strong. Perhaps he would teach her a thing or two.

"As what?" Cruz ignored the one they called Lloyd.

Cruz began to doubt whether they actually had anything to offer, but an explodey assassin itself was something.

"So you're worth nothing?"

Cruz turns to the girl. "Explodey powers?" Maybe this was a mistake.

"...I just helped you two escape."

"Give me a reason not to turn you two over and collect a reward." Back to business, it was. "What do you have to offer me?"

Cruz switched on the industrial lights of the cave, revealing the little base he had built for himself in emergencies. Stocked with weapons and spy equipment straight from Myria. He had made a small fortune from a few of his assassinations, and another small fortune from his successful shop. And, of course, the lights moved to reveal many of the tunnels he used to navigate underneath the island.

Cruz was not amused, but he didn't seem to much of a threat at the moment. He sealed off the entrance from the inside with thick, Althemeyan steel doors. His safehouse. Completely concealed from the outside, you wouldn't even be able to tell there was an entrance.
