  1. You know, cosmere is my favorite. I loved to hear about the audio-drama novellas he would be writing for Skyward and Reckoners, but I have to admit hearing that it could also be released for cosmere works really excited me. Especially since there's so much small cosmere Brandon says he would write (*cough* cyberpunk Mistborn *cough*) that I wonder if this will be easier for him to do.
  2. Cruz jumps down from the roof. "Impressive. What powers or abilities do you have?" Cruz said, a little envious. It was the cruel fate of the world that he, as an assassin, would have a healing Aspect of all Aspects.
  3. Hmm. Yes, I forgot. I'll have to get used to this. Still, I don't think it's necessary, as one Shard is really all you need. You don't necessarily get more power from two Shards. Especially when those Intents clash. You still have access to practically infinite Investiture.
  4. Luchador Mull (the Windrunner) flew through the sun to hug yet another young muskrat.
  5. We have a WoB and now an in-world confirmation that Odium is not ever going to take up any new Shards. His whole plan for thousands of years from the beginning has been to Splinter all the other Shards so he remains the one true God. It doesn't matter whether or not he has 1 or 2 Shards, he still has access to practically infinite Investiture regardless.
  6. Cruz leaped to the rooftop of the manor and crouched, listening. He heard screaming, and a massive explosion. Guess she wasn't one for stealth. That was fine with Cruz. Flashy could be useful in its own ways. He snuck closer to keep an eye on her progress.
  7. Cruz steps a good distance back and watches, curious.
  8. @Ookla the Channelknight Cruz stepped out of the motorboat and onto the shore of De-Ar, the home island of some real nasty nobles. The kid could prove herself here. If she actually managed the stealth of this, Cruz just might consider helping her out with this revolution thing--if even just to upset the entire country. It would be risky, though. They walked to a decent-sized manor, with flat rooftops and expansive gardens. Cruz stopped a fair distance away from the manor itself "Go ahead. Kill the family, and you've earned your name as an assassin."
  9. Orpheus listened.
  10. The livestream is still going on, and the WOBs are probably a few days incoming before I can quote it properly. But Brandon mentions that "we have seen the lengths Thaidakar would go to to achieve his goals in other books." Does anyone who still doesn't believe it's Kelsier have anything to say about this?
  11. Looks like I wasn’t quick enough with my edit...
  12. I was going to make one, but I wanted solid answers EDIT: Also, I added it
  13. I think I'm getting addicted to the poll feature... It's simple! Answer the poll. I've included two criteria. Whether you want a redemption or not, and whether you think it's actually going to happen or not. I saw a thread on this and wanted to a visual on people's opinions and thoughts. Personally, he makes such a good villain through his ideals vs. Kaladin's ideals that I no longer want a redemption.
  14. "Hm," Orpheus said. "He got away? Did you see where he went?"
  15. As someone who was homeschooled and was hardly ever taught via an actual teacher (learning mostly through courses, curriculums, or programs), I'd hardly say we "need" educators.
  16. Cruz shrugged. "You'd be surprised." They reached the end of the tunnel. A steel ladder ran along the end towards the surface. Cruz climbed the ladder and climbed out the secret entrance. This one emerged in the middle of the woods.
  17. "...controlling the bear? What do you mean?" Orpheus noticed a few of his comrades were addressing a new girl. He listened a moment. Her name was... Chrys? @Ookla the Empyreal Orpheus approaches her. "Do you know anything about that bear?" He looks at the dead carcass laying nearby.
  18. Cruz runs down the circular tunnel with its rough edges. He approaches the end of the tunnel. "What was he talking about, your queen?"
  19. I don't care about thinking about other cool combinations, I'm an Iron Compounder. I'd store my weight (ridiculously easy due to Compounding) and then draw upon practically infinite weight (well, there is some limit to how much can be stored in a metalmind) whilst Pulling incredibly strongly on anything metal. The strength of the Pull could be of such great magnitudes, I feel like this could potentially even pull on Shardblades/Shardplate, or rip Hemalurgic spikes from one's body. I'm not an expert on the subject yet though, and I know those would heavily resist the Pulling. But my point is the Pull would be strong. I could bring down airplanes, even fly (in a strange way). I'd be... the Knight of Iron.
  20. He looks to Trace. “We need to move. This way!” Cruz darts down a tunnel, grabbing a few boxes as he runs, as well as the superweapon Lloyd had been messing with. @Ookla the Channelknight
  21. Cruz ducked behind cover and holds up a shield. He had a pretty strong Veil, as well.
  22. “Yes, him. Where did he run off to?” @Ookla the Ethereal
  23. Orpheus looked up, his wound somehow almost completely healed. He did a head count; “Where’s Avren?”
  24. Cruz sighed. “Then kill him. He doesn’t seem like he’s on our side, and he knows about my tunnels.”
