I confused things, I thought the Rhythm of the Winds was used to manipulate Stromlight but it's used to predict Highstorms I was confusing with the Song of Prayers, which I also had missunderstood, I thought it was used to breath Voidlight in but it's actually used to get it in the physical realm so it's not necessarily the Pure Tone either

Compressive strength doesn't matter in that case, resilience does (=ability to resist to a choc by deforming quickly) and I cannot find the resilience of a Ruby. Since Rubies are rigid I'd wager it's significantly lower than it's compressive strength

Yes, we should not assume Shards that appears to be doing nothing are actually doing nothing, Cultivation and Endowment's Intents seems more made to give the other the ability to solve an issue than to directly solve that issue, and with this kind of power people assuming you're not interfering is a huge advantage

You're right, that'd be a bit too big of a change of plan. Although it's possible that the part about Wax becoming his champion was either supposed to happen in Era 3 or in flashbacks. And if he's his champion then age doesn't matter as he'll almost certainly have atium compounding. Honestly the part where Harmony kills Wax's wife look to much like what happened to attune Sazed to Ruin for Wax not to be Harmony's champion
