  1. I'm not sure how to make it clearer, she got hit by Shallan's blade at a moment she didn't expect and died
  2. RoW spoiler
  3. Touching Nightblood is stupid whatever the situation, do we have a WoB about Leeching it with an ettmetal cube? I can't find one but I can't find your WoB back either so I must hust be doing something wrong
  4. "Throw it in a black hole" was my first thought when I read that I doubt Larkins can absorb solid state investiture so the Larkin=non-murderous Nightbloods only works up to a point To actually answer your question, I don't think and Ancient Guardian, even fully adult, can absorb all of Nightblood's investiture, at least not without dying I'm pretty sure Chiri-Chiri would die if he became oversaturated in investiture It's obvious Chiri-Chiri will find someone to perpetuate the species so why not I honestly have no idea whether a bound with an overfed Ancient Guardian would give any kind of powers, bounds with Aviars do so maybe. Rysn becoming able to use the Dawnshard is almost certainly something that will happen one way or the other though
  5. Still don't remember, who was talking? And? If anything it makes things worse Also Kal is kind of on the wrong world to be influenced by Harmony And after all these years of seeing pathianism he's probably fed up with spears
  6. I don't remember that (wouldn't be the first time I forget something), what chapter was it? Also, Kal is more of Honour than Ruin which is worse
  7. I thought of Wax personally.
  8. From the last State of the Sanderson, he intent to do TLM, the Horneater novela, the two last Skyward book, Era 3 and probably a novella on another world before Stormlight 5. Maybe Rithmatist 2 when he needs a break in the middle of Era 3
  9. It's not, it's an argument against. If changed colour because of Odium then it would probably become golden and not violet, probably being the important word Sorry, I wasn't clear
  10. Currently the Oathpact is shattered (though Ishar think it's fixable) but we don't know since when
  11. Well, yes and no. Almost anything with less than 2% mass carbon is called steel but different steels have vastly different properties, you can't really compare tool steel with stainless steel or spring steel Also cast iron is not steel, steel is carbonated iron with less than 2% of it's mass as carbon and cast iron is carbonated iron with more than 2% of it's mass as carbon I'm pretty sure there are methods to get a very precise measurement of the ratios, destructive methods I'd bet but still methods. So, there's a measurable ratio
  12. Jezrien's one is just the moons and the uninhabited planets but Vedel's one is significantly weirder
  13. Wait, I'm wondering something all of a sudden. If Dalinar is a Dawnshard shouldn't Ishar have seen it when he looked at his connections?
  14. Also, if Shallan go offworld there's literally no way he's not going with her
  15. Honour is not "white and so barely blue you can't see it except up close", he's Honourspren blue. Stormlight is a lot of white+Honour's blue, probably for similar reason as why real life lightnings are a lot of white+light blue or violet Same for Cultivation's green and lifelight Yes I was being dumb. Does the purple type used for void-windrunners in the voidbinding chart has a specific name? I'm not an expert on colour names If we accept Ruin and Preservation's mist can be of a different colour as their Shards (which we have too since their colour being RAFO means it's at least possible) I see no problem there
  16. Which is a definition I challenged in the first line of my post Which is exactly what Stormlight and the Dor are. Aons of AonDor and Lashings are Kinetic Investiture but Stormlight and the Dor aren't
  17. I don't see how it contradict what I've just said
  18. Almost all sprens are Honour-Cultivation mix and some people (in world) think even Honourspren and Cultivation sprens are 50% each
  19. I have two arguments against Salas being Odium's moon, first Odium is not Violet Second Voidlight is not violet, it's Stygian violet Stygian colours are what happen when you look at a colour long enough that they'd leave an after-image when you stop looking at them (30-60 seconds) then look at a black screen, you see a very dark version of it's complementary, so basically Voidlight is more anti-Gold than violet If it's accidental yes, not if it's voluntary like it can very well have been for Nomon and Mishim, but I doubt Cultivation would let Odium change the colour of the moon. Also, violet not purple, purple is the colour of void-windrunners so the difference matter a bit Well, no, we don't know if Preservation's colour is white I honestly thing Preservation's "colour" would be transparent, like Roshar's diamonds, because it's the only colour that Preserve le colour of incident light
  20. I feel like a word is missing there
  21. I distinctly remember her (or things she made like the Verdict) attracting Logicspens. Of course not to the insane levels Shallan and Kaladin go because Logicsprens are rarer than Windsprens (which by the way is probably why she can't share her plate like Kal does). This had actually lead some of us to assume Elscallers' plates were made of Logicsprens back in Oathbringer when Kal attract Windsprens to Shadesmare. Also, if you're unsure that WoB is true, just ask again It would make a lot of sense they'd have this exact one wrong, Pali's effectively the Herald of science. And don't forget they've shown white joysprens around Kelek when they're actually blue And we only know one orange spren (painspren) and they definitely don't look like whatever sprens are around Taln
  22. Well thanks then
  23. Maybe that Honoursprens are known to take care of Deadeyes?
